Abstract

The article discusses developments in the representation of neuropalliative care (NPC) among medical support groups in Brazil. Topics mentioned include the increase in the support provided by international medical associations to NPC such as the American Academy of Neurology, the reasons for the lack of NPC representation in the Brazilian National Academy of Palliative Care, and the main factors that will influence NPC representation in the country.
