Boston Materials manufactures axial and biaxial Supercomp™ prepregs for customers that require durable, high-performance and differentiated components (Figure 1). Additionally, Boston Materials is working on integrating commercially available milled carbon fibers (50-150 micron) sourced from end-of-life components and post-industrial waste into Supercomp products to effectively close the loop on carbon fiber processing. Not only are Supercomp products specifically designed to integrate into pre-existing production processes that customers have become accustomed to, but Supercomp products also allow customers to reduce time spent on component manufacturing.
