Abstract

The article studies the effects of the deletion of the rpoZ gene, encoding the ω subunit of RNA polymerase by researchers from Bangalore, India. The researchers elucidates that the mutant mycobacterium has pleiotropic phenotypes including reduced sliding motility and defective biofilm formation.
