Abstract

The article presents a study which examines cave-dwelling coelotine spiders found in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, China. For the study, researchers analyzed and illustrated male palps and female genitalia after being dissected from the bodies of the spider. They analyzed three Coelotes species and 4 Draconarius species from caves located at the plateau. They provided morphological descriptions and illustrations of all seven spider species. These species were deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China.
