The article reports that excavations of the Place du Jeu de Paume provided an opportunity to bring to light an important part of the medieval and modern defensive system of Beauvais. Topics include military and historical standard from the hands of a Burgundian soldier with state of conservation of masonry within the archaeological levels; and the progress of artillery and wars between the King of France and the Duke of Burgundy in the 15th century with its administration and royal taxation.
