Seismic hazards in the Eastern Baltic region are traditionally considered quite low in frequency or intensity; therefore, seismic data alone do not provide sufficient constraints on the geodynamic models of this region. However, geological and geophysical data can be used to augment seismic data. This paper analyses GPS-based regional crustal motions, strains, and co-seismic deformations to develop geodynamic models for two Baltic Sea regions (Lake Ladoga --Gulf of Finland and Kaliningrad) in this area. These data and earthquake focal mechanisms provided for the Lake Ladoga, Gulf of Finland, and Kaliningrad earthquakes may be useful for the "Seismic Hazard Harmonization in Europe" (SHARE) project, which is devoted to updating seismic hazard models throughout Europe.
