The article discusses the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference, which was held in Bali, Indonesia from December 3-14, 2007. Details about the conference's impact on the tourism industry are provided. According to the article, the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) represented the interests of tourism at the conference and also organized a side-event with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The UNWTO Davos Declaration is also explored. The Declaration was formed at the UNWTO 2nd International Conference on Tourism and Climate Change and presented recommendations for the tourism industry such as adapting to climatic changes, improving the use of technology, and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
