The article focuses on the case of an adult female Holstein-Friesian cow from São Miguel Island, Azores, and was diagnosed of Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma. The cow's case has been considered to be unusual because the tumor was only recognized in the dog. The cow underwent histological examination which revealed the proliferation of spindle-shaped tumor cells containing eosinophilic cytoplasm. The tumor was also characterized by well-formed capillaries. Moreover, elongated nuclei with finely distributed chromatic without conspicuous nucleoli was also observed in the cow's body.
