Starting from the measures taken by the Habsburg authorities to subordinate, by economical and commercial point of view, the newly obtained territories, this work paper tries to point out the main economical achievements of Transylvania between the 18th century and the first part of the 19th century. Mentioning numbers and enunciating locations, the most important mutations are specified, which took place in this period in the extractive and manufacturing branches of the Transylvanian industry. The main branches that they could meet in Transylvania are emphasized, there are also numerical evolutions of the industrial objectives and exploitations that functioned at that time. In spite of the developments, the Transylvanian industry could not face the requirements of the time, its main domains remaining just the exploitation of raw materials and assure the population's needs.
