The study aims at investigating the influence of Energy Consumption on Real GDP of South Asian Region. The study uses Panel data of five South Asian countries like Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka for the time period from 1990 - 91 to 2013 - 14. Stationary is examined using Levin, Lu and Chu test for confirming that all variables are integrated of order 1. Johansen Fisher Panel Co integration test confirms that there are more than six co integrating equation. Results of the Fully Modified OLS suggest that Total Labor Force, Real Gross Fixed Capital Formation, Real Industrial Sector Output, Real Government Expenditure and Energy Consumption are positively influencing Real GDP in South Asia while GDP Deflator is negatively affecting Real GDP of South Asian Countries.
