In recent decades, the international community has produced a large number of regulations aimed at preventing, detecting and punishing acts of corruption, which has impacted the regulatory systems in most countries. In the case of Argentina, the main recipient of theses international regulations was the criminal law, as there was an advance in the punitive power of the State and a consequent retraction of the rights and constitutional guarantees of citizens subject to prosecution for acts of corruption. This situation leads us to reflect on the way in which these international laws are created and the reception in the argentine normative system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
