Abstract

The article discusses the factors needed to assess arctic resilience as prescribed in the Arctic Resilience Report (ARR). The ARR process helps create links between scientific knowledge and policy-makers for them to help guide crucial decisions. Assessing resilience covers three major tasks for the ARR: identifying the risk for shifts in ecosystem services, analyzing how various drivers of change interact and evaluating strategies for adaptation.
