Abstract

Invasion and establishment of Bondar's nesting whitefly, Paraleyrodes bondari Peracchi in Indian mainland and Andaman & Nicobar Islands is reported. This forms the first report of P. bondari from Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Host range of Bondar's nesting whitefly in India is discussed. Partial sequence of cytochrome c oxidase I gene for P. bondari is submitted to GenBank (MK333262). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
