Abstract

The article presents a study which compared the efficacy of ceftiofur sodium and enrofloxacin in treating the relapse of undifferentiated fever (UF) or bovine respiratory disease (BRD) in beef cattle. The study randomly assigned the 463 feedlot cattle in southern Alberta into two experimental groups of ENRO group with subcutaneous (SC) injection of enrofloxacin and CEF group with intramuscular (IM) injection of ceftiofur sodium. The results reveal no differences between the two groups.
