The article presents the response of the authors concerning the review of their book "Ethics and AIDS in Africa: The Challenge to Our Thinking." They give accolade to the reviewer in his appreciation of the hard work it takes to coordinate the moral, medical and legal concerns that HIV/AIDS represents in Africa. They express their agreement about the relevance of the issue on care for people living with the disease. They emphasize that most of the alleged sexual practices in African men is anecdotal.
