Purpose The purpose of this study is to develop a computerized system that will increase the efficiency and supervision of library activities, thereby providing easy access to library usage for librarians and library users. Design/methodology/approach The researchers use the agile methodology to develop and implement the system. PHP, JavaScript, Hypertext Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets and SQL are the languages used to create the library management system. Findings The developed system received an overall rating of 4.42 with a descriptive rating of “Excellent.” Originality/value The automated library management system is a computerized system for the public libraries designed in the Philippine setting to make the library’s processes more efficient, reliable and portable especially in times of pandemics.

This research developed an Intranet-Based Wiki with Instant Messaging Protocol (IBWIMP) for the Staff of the Department of Computer Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka to enable them to collaborate on tasks; like writing of documents like, memo, project guidelines, proposal/grants, and circulars with online security consideration. The essence of this work is to improve on the contributions staff make during work, in carrying out tasks with their colleagues irrespective of the person’s location at that point in time. The existing system on ground would always require the presence of the staff within the department before they can carry out the tasks meant for them or respond to the available mails within their mail boxes located within the general office of the department. In regard to such situation, there is always delay in the processing of such mails or documents that could require urgent attention of the supposed staff therefore could cause serious damages. This research established a better internet connection for the security of the system and the documents therein by the use of virtual private server (VPS) hosting on virtual private network (VPN). This system allows the collaboration between the staff of the department and external persons, or partners classified as external staff user on documents like circulars that normally come from outside the department. This system automatically sends emails to the supposed users whenever the admin posts a document via the Short Message Transfer Protocol (SMTP). The system is accessed online by the users from any location once there is accessible internet connection and users can collaborate on the development of any posted document at the same time. This application was designed using Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology (OOADM) and implemented using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), CkEditor, Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP) and MySQL database management system.

There are a growing number of jobs related to web development, yet there is little formal literature about the accessibility of web development with a screen reader. This article describes research to explore (1) web development accessibility issues and their impact on blind learners and programmers; (2) tools and strategies used to address issues; and (3) opportunities for creating inclusive web development curriculum and supportive tools. We conducted a Comprehensive Literature Review (CLR) to formulate accessibility issue categories, then interviewed 12 blind programmers to validate and expand on both issues in education and practice. The CLR yielded five issue categories: (1) visual information without an accessible equivalent, (2) orienting, (3) navigating, (4) lack of support, and (5) knowledge and use of supportive technologies. Our interview findings validated the use of CLR-derived categories and revealed nuances specific to learning and practicing web development. Blind web developers grapple with the inaccessibility of demonstrations and explanations of web design concepts, wireframing software, independent verification of computed Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and navigating browser-based developer tool interfaces. Tools and strategies include seeking out alternative education materials to learn independently, use of CSS frameworks, collaboration with sighted colleagues, and avoidance of design and front-end development. This work contributes to our understanding of accessibility issues specific to web development and the strategies that blind web developers employ in both educational and applied contexts. We identify areas in which greater awareness and application of accessibility best practices are required in Web education, a need to disseminate existing screen reader strategies and accessible tools, and to develop new tools that support Web design and validation of CSS. Finally, this research signals future directions for the development of accessible web curriculum and supportive tools, including solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, tactile graphics, and supportive-online communities of practice.

To address diverse interaction needs of heterogeneous users' groups, user interfaces must be flexible to accommodate for customization that are specific to each user profile. Although, existing web interfaces provide some flexibility, some problems still remain: a) manual adjustments carried out by end users are required for each web application; b) the flexibility provided by current web interfaces is insufficient to address diverse interaction needs of various users' profiles and c) few users are aware about such options to customize the presentation of web interfaces. To contribute to the customization of user interface according to the needs of diverse users, in this work we asses the suitability of a tool that customize web interfaces based on the needs and preferences of end users. UIFlex is a web-based browser plugin that enables users to define their interaction profile. In this task, users are supported by fifteen web-based design rules that were extracted from the literature and the knowledge of authorities. To customize the presentation of web interfaces, UIFlex relies on a set of rules defined for each individual user and "injects" JavaScript codes, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and in some cases HyperText Markup Language (HTML) codes in any page that follows W3C standards. UIFlex was evaluated by 104 users of diverse interaction profiles. The results obtained are promising and suggest that the solution improves the perception that the interactive system performs as desired by users.

This research work developed Electronic Notice Board (ENB) for the faculty community. The purpose is to upgrade the already existing manual method of information dissemination, so as to improve the administrative work of the faculty, and to create an enabling environment for more efficient and friendly means of information delivery. It will improve the rate at which staff and students participate in faculty events and activities. The conventional notice board is one of the oldest methods used in information delivery and announcements to students. Students go to where the notice board is mounted in other to read updates or announcements. Use of wall notice board in every place is a tedious work since it needs to be updated regularly and with correct and right information manually. Few of the problems that necessitated the need for ENB are; inadequate time to read all the relevant information pasted newly on a notice board as a result of tight schedule since the copies are limited. Limited time-lag of newly pasted notice since people mutilate, remove or destroy the paper notices from the board leaving others uninformed. Some of the objectives are to enable individuals to view the update from their various devices from any location. To enable instant update to all users since notice is online. To allow individuals download and store copies of original information intact. Generally, it looks at the existing faculty notice boards, building a system that makes it run by the internet access or by local area network (LAN) so as to increase the rate at which relevant information is being disseminated to the faculty community with no location restriction. The user is kept updated each time the E-Notice Board is updated based on their categories through an SMS alert. This system intends to simplify and improve the University faculties to perform their daily activities since most of the school organs uses computerized system. This research work was designed using Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology (OOADM) and implemented using Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Bootstrap, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) as front-end and My Structural Query Language (MYSQL) database as back-end.

Desa Sumber Makmur merupakan salah satu dari 6 (enam) desa yang berada di Kecamatan Telawang, Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, Indonesia. Penduduk yang berada di Desa Sumber Makmur merupakan transmigrasi dari Pulau Jawa, Sumatra dan peserta transmigrasi lokal yang menempati lahan seluas 4.014,15 hektare. Pada umumnya, permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat di Desa Sumber Makmur saat ini yaitu dalam hal mengakses informasi-informasi yang ada di desa, baik informasi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh desa, informasi pembangunan desa dan informasi APBDes sehingga biasanya masyarakat harus datang langsung ke kantor desa untuk memperolehnya. Maka untuk mengatasi masalah diatas, diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website, sehingga masyarakat tidak perlu lagi datang ke kantor desa hanya untuk menanyakan informasi tersebut tetapi dengan mengakses website desa masyarakat langsung bisa memperolehnya dan bagi pihak desa dengan adanya website desa tersebut tentunya dapat mempermudah mereka untuk berbagi informasi tanpa membuat papan informasi yang ditempatkan didepan kantor desa. Selanjutnya, untuk membuat sistem informasi berbasis website ini diperlukan sebuah software editor bahasa pemprograman Macromedia Dreamweaver dengan bahasa pemprograman PHP, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), JavaScript dan database MySql.

Quick response to health related issues and reporting has been a huge problem associated with the Nigerian health sector especially when it comes to emergencies. The novel corona virus also known as COVID-19 has put not only the health practitioners into confusion but also to the general public. But in the fight for the solution of this huge pandemic, innovations and technological developments has also assisted in the fight to ensure that this deadly disease is defeated at once. Hence, this paper presents a web based emergency information system for reporting and tracking of COVID-19 infected persons as one of the innovations in fighting this infectious disease. The system is expected to provide a remote access for the general public to report any suspected person with COVID-19, enable questions to be asked, ensure that information on the case of infected and suspected persons with COVID-19 are tracked. This system was achieved following the Agile Model project development life-cycle and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) in respect to that, the front-end design was done with Hypertext Markup Language (HTML5), Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), JavaScript (JS) and Bootstrap Frame work while the back-end development was achieved with Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP5), and My-Structural Query Language (MYSQL). The result after design was a responsive and web based friendly platform for suspected and infected persons of COVID-19 to be reported, tracked and managed remotely.

In this paper, a social media platform like LinkedIn and Facebook is made using MongoDB as a database. This paper aims to touch all the modern tools required to make an efficient web app, keeping in mind both the customer satisfaction and the ease for the developers to make their web designs, front-end and back-end. In this application, a user could make an account, add or delete details of their profile, education, and experience fields. The users could post, also comment and even like a post of other users. A monolithic architectural approach is used for simplicity in maintaining the database. Postman application programming interface (API) was used to check the working of the back-end. Git, Github, and Heroku were used to deploy the website. Node package manager (NPM) packages like bcrypt and validator are used to encrypt passwords and to validate a user during login. Media queries are used in cascading style sheets (CSS) to achieve a responsive design. Therefore, the users could view the website through a mobile phone, i-pad and also a personal computer (PC), maintaining the readability and design across all these devices.

In this paper we present an application that, by using the blockchain, tries to inform the user about possible fraud attempts on the internet. The application presented is intended to prevent the user from landing on websites that have recently been the target of various attacks. Installed as a browser plugin it should alert the user upon visiting such a website. Alerts are triggered once a generated hash of the website no longer matches a hash that was stored on the blockchain. Included inside the hash is not only the HTML but also further website information such as used JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets. By implementing a package into the build process the developer can easily publish the website hashes that are then stored on the blockchain for comparison. To see if our plugin can withstand common website attacks we compared it with the OWASP top 10 risks and check if an attack is mitigated or completely solved. We came to the conclusion that attacks directly targeting the front end of the website can be mitigated. Not included are attack vectors that directly target web servers and the data stored on them.

IPv6 measurement studies have focussed on measuring IPv6 adoption, while studies on measuring IPv6 performance have either become dated or only provide a snapshot view. We provide a longitudinal view of the performance of dual-stacked websites. We show that (since 2013) latency towards ALEXA 10K websites with AAAA entries over the six years have reduced by 29% over IPv4 and by 57% over IPv6. As of Dec 2018, 56% of these websites are faster over IPv6 with 95% of the rest being at most 1 ms slower. We also identify glitches in web content delivery that once fixed can help improve the user experience over IPv6. Using a publicly available dataset, we show that 40% of ALEXA 1M websites with AAAA entries were not accessible over IPv6 in 2009. These complete failures have reduced to 1.9% as of Jan 2019. However, our data collection on partial failures helps identify further that 27% of these popular websites with AAAA entries still suffer from partial failure over IPv6. These partial failures are affected by DNS resolution errors on images, javascript and CSS content. For 12% of these websites, more than half of the content belonging to same-origin sources fails over IPv6, while analytics and third-party advertisements contribute to failures from cross-origin sources. Our results also contribute to the IETF standardisation process. We witness that using an happy eyeballs timer value of 250 ms, clients prefer IPv6 connections to 99% of ALEXA 10 K websites (with AAAA entries) more than 96% of the time. Although, this makes clients prefer slower IPv6 connections in 81% of the cases. Our results show that a Happy Eyeballs (MBA) timer value of 150 ms does not severly affect IPv6 preference towards websites. The entire dataset presenting results on partial failures, latency and HE used in this paper is publicly released.

With the amount of data available on websites the need to transform this data from a human-understandable format, the visual representation, to a computer-understandable format, e.g. as entries in a database, rises. The approaches to solving web scraping that were published in the last two decades have the drawback that they all to a certain degree rely on the structure and existence of the underlying Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) or Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). To reduce this dependency and move to understanding websites more human-like, this short paper presents a scientific project that proposes a web scraping approach based solely on the visual representation of a given website. For this purpose existing approaches from the domain of Document Layout Analysis and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) are taken into concern. This short paper provides relevant background knowledge to the involved fields of science and proposes a methodology along which the suggested approach can be implemented and tested in further work.

Internet reading and reading grades that are popularly known as online education play a vital role in the country's education system. There is no denying that online education offers many benefits to younger students. In our proposed idea is to build a website that will use HTML, CSS and JS frontend and Php and MySQL backend. It contains a registration page where you will request user verification. In this case the user can create on his / her id containing username and password. On the home page four tap menu in the navigation bar namely home, services, by us, Contact Us. In each menu will have features, for example, a contact button that will allow the user to contact us with feedback. Our proposed system introduces an interactive method for the user to read blogs delivered by various technologies or teachers related to those subjects and will allow the user to ask his or her questions. In this way it will provide a smart and automated web education app for the academic advisory program. The application is used to promote learning and promote student development by automatically identifying and achieving their educational need and goals.

A school is an educational institution for imparting knowledge to children. In an age where information acquisition about a school is assuming astronomical heights, the need for cost-effective and efficient information transmission methods cannot be overemphasized; hence the use of the website of a school to disseminate information is advised. This study examines the process of disseminating information on a school website using a college in the Northcentral of the six-geopolitical zone in Nigeria as a case study. A prior study of manually or locally dissemination of information in a school was carried out and its limitations are highlighted. A website that is able to handle processes like admission, comment, and newsletter has been analyzed and developed using hyper-text language, cascading style sheet, hypertext preprocessor. Home Sharing is a web-based lodging system that will provide homestay or renting system for tourism in Bangladesh. Our website will be a platform that will connect those users who are willing to rent their rooms and users who are searching for a home to stay. Our platform will not own any of the real estates. Our goal is to make a responsive and user-friendly website and we will build it especially for tourism purposes. In order to build our website, we have used HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScriptfor the font-end side and Php, MySQL for the back-end side of the website. Currently in Bangladesh there are no such websites like Home sharing. Airbnb is currently approaching towards our country, but they have not been able to cover most of the areas yet. Our website will be much more helpful for those people who are visiting a place for the first time and through our website they will be able to find the best available home stay at a low cost.

The first time I saw a web page, I was amazed at hypertext links, images, advanced layout, colours and fonts. Of these, hypertext links already existed in another protocol on the web: gopher. Gopher used a series of index pages to navigate a site; the links on one index would take you to another index page or to some text file. Libraries were the principal users of the gopher protocol. A lot of information could be retrieved using gopher; however, it never became popular like the web. It was the remaining features that made the web as popular as it is: images, advanced layout, colours and fonts.

This web-based application will help the user to try clothes online right sitting at your home. This application uses OpenCV python for identifying the user’s body and to superimpose the clothes selected by the user. This will help the user to have the benefit of trying each and every attire they may like and also don’t waste their time by physically going through the shops. This is a user- friendly application that uses HTML + CSS+ JavaScript for the frontend which is open source and easy to use also it uses OpenCV which contains some inbuild functions which is easily accessible on the backend process. The net price of the current similar application is around 2.7 lakhs. So, working on such a project will help us on understanding of OpenCV website development structure of image processing. This application has a wide scope in the future as the e- commerce business has boosted up to 66% in the past 5 years.

This is a website where guide selection was implemented. In this process every student has the access to view the profile of all teachers to register them as their project guides. First come First serve procedure is followed in this site. Selection of guides is based on the specialization of the Faculties of the Department. The main agenda is to assign faculties strong at particular areas to students’ projects based on that area. Faculty name has to be registered with all relevant details. The student register his/her details in the portal. The faculty register his/her details in the portal. The student checks for availability of the guide. If the guide is available then the student selects the guide and the guide slot availability is decremented by one. If the guide is not available the student has to select another guide from the portal. The list of selected students can be viewed by faculty. The guide selection detail will be displayed on the student portal. The complete details can be downloaded as a CSV file from the admin login. The SFS Law Office is one of the legal advisory offices located in Depok, West Java. As an advisory service, the data processing and management in the SFS Law office served manually so that errors and data loss often occurred. The purpose of this research is to build a website for this legal advisory office so that it can be a tool for the client to schedule meetings with lawyers. It can facilitate lawyers in managing their files and schedules so that it can help clients personally. This website is using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) with Laravel framework, Sublime Text as a text editor, and MySQL database. The method used in the research is Rapid Application Development (RAD). This website has three types of users, namely admin, member, and visitor. The black-box testing method results showed that all options and the web pages able to function as expected. We can access The SFS Law Office website at URL http://www.kantorkonsultanhukumsfs.com available in Bahasa. The assessment calculations from 37 respondents gave the percentage result of 86.76 %, which means that this website is in the "very good" category.

This research was contextualized in the Distance Education System of the UCV where the absence of a comprehensive evaluation mechanism from the perspective of the students and of the teaching coordination of the Virtual Learning Environments was evidenced, at the undergraduate and graduate levels and / or extension either in distance, mixed mode or as support to face-to-face subjects, hosted in the Virtual Campus. Reason for which, to systematize and automate this process, assessment instruments based on the MEI-SEaD Model were built, which were implemented in a Web Application called GENETVI, incorporated into the University's Virtual Campus, as an innovative tool for the management of the evaluation from a pedagogical and technological vision of these educational spaces for their constant improvement. For the construction of this tool, an adaptation of the Scrum framework was used, including the use of the following technologies: on the server side there is the Laravel framework with the use of its object-relational mapping technique (ORM ) that is compatible with various database management systems such as PostgreSQL or Mysql, while on the client side, it has the hypertext markup language (HTML 5), cascading style sheets (CSS) and the JQuery libraries and Bootstrap.

Introduction: Smartphone and mobile apps have become an indispensable companion in our modern-day living and working environment. In the medical field, web browsers and medical apps have transformed the medical practice as the most current knowledge, best practices, medical references, and calculators are available instantaneously at our fingertips. However, these functionality and usage are limited by the creativity and imagination of the app developers. To overcome these limitations, doctors should think out-of-the-box and educate themselves to be appdevelopers to create functional and useful apps in their field. Our aim was to create medical apps from ground-up independently without formal software development training. Material and method: Hybrid app technology is a popular method for creating apps for newbies due to the familiarity with web browsers. We explore the Ionic© Framework which is a free and open-source front-end with good resources and documentation. This programming technology assumes that everyone has experience with web browsers and the modern browsers essentially run on three technology stacks which are Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The HTML is a standard markup language for web browser while JavaScript is a scripting language for running commands and functions. The CSS is used for describing how HTML elements should be displayed. Results: We successfully published three apps on the Apple AppStore and Google Play, namely, OrthoBoard©, OpList and OOLH. Based on our experience of designing, coding, testing and deploying the apps, it is not impossible for medical doctors to achieve this goal and utilizing the app-development skills as an armamentarium for teaching, learning, and medical practice tools. Conclusions: App development is an essential skill especially for medical educators to leverage the technological advancement in their teaching and learning as well as medical practice in tandem with our nations’ aspiration towards Education 4.0.

Verifying a citizen’s birth information is predominantly weighted with rigorous processes due to the multitude of birth registration centres and the method of birth registration and archiving its records are operationally manual within the nation. Consequently, this approach is systematically prone to destruction, falsification, alteration, or duplication of birth records and thus, this paper proposed and developed an electronic system for birth registration and record management. It adopted the system analysis and design (SAD) methodology suitably for its designs and implementation. The dataflow diagram (DFD) was adopted for its design while its implementation involved several client and server side development tools: Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Java Script and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP) and My Structured Query Language (MySQL). The resultant prototype system was tested and evaluated entirely, and it demonstrated the capability of birth registration, its records management, and also checking its associated challenges – verification, retrieval, duplications, etc. On full deployment, it will curb the rampart falsification of birth information in Nigeria. The innovation of AJAX resulted in more responsive, interactive and faster web applications due to the clever amalgamation of JavaScript, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). However, from the user’s perspective, this achievement places many challenges before web search engines. One major challenge is due to the complexities in crawling such web applications because multiple states are associated with one uniform resource locator (URL) that cause a mismatch with search model of web search engines, where a web document is uniquely identified by a single unique URL with a single state. Crawling AJAX-based web applications means giving strength and capability to web search engines so that information produced in these highly-interactive web applications is downloaded and indexed. The need here is to investigate the technicalities of AJAX that shatter the metaphor of a web page which the current web search engine utilize during crawling in order to improve the capabilities of web search engines. Although some academic tools have been developed, they produce some false positives which greatly affect the performance of web search engine. We aim to investigate AJAX and AJAX-based web applications as well as the state-of-the-art in crawling these applications along with some prominent issues, challenges and recommendations

It is a responsibility for higher authorities in a government/private institute to provide an essential health care service to all their own community. The current health management is quite tedious and unpractical by using manual methods in order to get an appointment from doctor. Furthermore, the current situation, Covid-19 is spreading throughout Malaysia and it is very risky for direct doctor visit. This paper is mainly focused on developing an E-healthcare management system for government/private institute to make doctor appointment online. The used programming developing tools are CSS, PHP, Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Patients may log in to make appointment with the doctor with its specialized. All the appointment details is processed and directly sent to the centralized database system. Then doctors confirm the appointment through their web page. Finally, patients receive an alert from doctor after the confirmation. E-Healthcare Management system is successfully developed to cater all the needs in appointments and organizing the records. In addition, current patients’ data and appointment can be retrieved just in a click of second.

Social networks have become one of the most popular platforms for users to interact with each other. Given the huge amount of sensitive data available in social network platforms, user privacy protection on social networks has become one of the most urgent research issues. As a traditional information stealing technique, phishing attacks still work in their way to cause a lot of privacy violation incidents. In a Web-based phishing attack, an attacker sets up scam Web pages (pretending to be an important Website such as a social network portal) to lure users to input their private information, such as passwords, social security numbers, credit card numbers, and so on. In fact, the appearance of Web pages is among the most important factors in deceiving users, and thus, the similarity among Web pages is a critical metric for detecting phishing Websites. In this paper, we present a new solution, called Phishing-Alarm, to detect phishing attacks using features that are hard to evade by attackers. In particular, we present an algorithm to quantify the suspiciousness ratings of Web pages based on the similarity of visual appearance between the Web pages. Since cascading style sheet (CSS) is the technique to specify page layout across browser implementations, our approach uses CSS as the basis to accurately quantify the visual similarity of each page element. As page elements do not have the same influence to pages, we base our rating method on weighted page-component similarity. We prototyped our approach in the Google Chrome browser. Our large-scale evaluation using real-world websites shows the effectiveness of our approach. The proof of concept implementation verifies the correctness and accuracy of our approach with a relatively low performance overhead.

In this paper, we present an overview of the problems associated with the cross-site scripting (XSS) in the graphical content of web applications. The brief analysis of vulnerabilities for graphical files and factors responsible for making SVG images vulnerable to XSS attacks are discussed. XML treatment methods and their practical testing are performed. As a result, the set of rules for protecting the graphic content of the websites and prevent XSS vulnerabilities are proposed.

The abundance of free technology tools that can be used to communicate of today's businesses are in way creating more confusion and redundant tasks which is not good for a striving small business. The study aims to serve as a single platform of communication tool for a small accounting firm, a website and mobile application were developed which are the capable of providing an online ticketing which can respond to customer concerns, a service tracking, and a tool that can aggregate reports of the firm's performance in providing services in the form of charts. Web Development Life Cycle (WDLC) was used as the process model in the development of the website and mobile application. Interview validated the business processes and supported the design of web and mobile applications. Development tools used for website and mobile application are Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Android and MySQL for database. In order to evaluate the performance of the developed system, a usability evaluation was conducted with the customers and employees of the accounting firm using the criteria: communication, transaction, aesthetics, ease of use, information and maintainability. Evaluation result shows that majority of customers strongly agree on the efficiency of communication and transaction functionalities of the developed system with the need in the improvement of image and text. Meanwhile, the evaluation of website's back-end shows promising result as well with mostly strongly agreement except for the transaction criterion wherein the employees who used the developed system had difficulty in using the system. Overall, the visual components, management of tickets, management of service tracking and viewing of the aggregate reports in the form of charts are all beneficial to a small business so that they could focus on their core business and use the developed website and application in customer engagement.

In this paper, we discuss the "Itty.bitty" technology. It is a new way to share HTML/text information. We pay attention to the effectiveness of its tools by comparing it with the Docs365 Itty Bitty from the point of view of variety and richness of expression. To make a comparison, we redesigned the existing academic laboratory Website and encoded it into the Itty.bitty URL and Docs365 Itty Bitty document. The following features were selected as criteria for this comparison: the implementable components such as textual, graphical, audio, and visual items; tools to adjust fonts, screens, and graphical elements; instruments to design the Website presented in these technologies, methods to deploy Websites, size Websites in KB, speed to appear in the browsers, type of browsers for viewing Websites, opinions of the users on the design, etc. Technological steps to create Websites are as follows: For the Itty.bitty URL, we can convert the HTML directly on the Itty.bitty Website. Once we put the target string (In this case, HTML), it automatically converts the string into the encoded URL. On the other hand, for the Docs365 Itty Bitty, we can do it by redesigning the content of a particular web page into a Google Docs document and translating it into Itty.bitty URL utilizing the Docs 365 Itty Bitty add-on. Our general conclusion on the results of this comparison are as follows: These technologies have their own niches. Applications implemented in Itty.bitty are suitable for super small Websites with very limited features. An approach to utilize Docs365 Itty Bitty gives more freedom, but there is a number of restrictions, and the developer needs to check them in the case by case manner.

With the advancement in technology and popularity of e-commerce, the number of online shopping websites have been increased rapidly in the cyber world. This made people's life easy because it is easy to shop through internet. But this also bring effort for people as they spend a lot of time and efforts to search best product deals and offers on e-commerce websites. They have to filter and compare data by themselves. It takes a lot of time and still there are chances of ambiguous results. This paper is based on web crawling and scraping methods applied for identifying best deals from five e-commerce websites. The framework is designed using HTML (Hypertext markup language) and CSS (Cascading style sheet) as front-end and PHP: Hypertext preprocessor language as back-end support. The scrapping scripts are written using python libraries and web crawling works on HTML labels. The novelty in this framework is that we are not storing scrapped data on local database. Instead the results are dynamically fetched and showed every time the user input the query. It will help to improvise the storage and processing ability. Furthermore, the data retrieval process accuracy is 93% with minimum computation and less time.

Many of the SharePoint solutions to follow involve either connecting with SharePoint Designer or injecting custom JavaScript, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and/or Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) content into a SharePoint page. Both of these are disabled by default in Office 365. Fortunately, the same solution described in the following fixes both issues.

Research is part of the fundamental responsibilities needed in an academic institution. Therefore, it is expected that tertiary institutions should take importance in capturing, maintaining, and preserving their student's and staff's intellectual output; It will serve a significant role in disseminating scholarly materials, preserving, and diffusing the institution's research work. Hence, the research developed an institutional repository for academic research work for the Department of Computer Science, Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA). The design made use of HTML (Hypertext mark-up language), CSS (Cascading style sheet), JAVASCRIPT, PHP (Hypertext pre-processor), and MySQL database. The system requirement for the design includes a processor (CPU) with 2.16 gigahertz (GHz), 4GB of RAM, Monitor Resolution 1024 X 768 or higher, a minimum of 20 GB available space on the hard disk, Intel Pentium processor, Keyboard, 64-bit operating system, and a Window 10 operating system. This design is expected to benefit the students and other users regarding the accessibility of materials to users and preserving student research. It will help create global visibility for the research works and collect content in a single location. However, the invention is limited to the sample size. Therefore, it recommends that a more advanced repository system be developed with time, which will capture studies across all faculties in the institution or across various institutions in the country.

Web pages define their appearance using Cascading Style Sheets, a modular language for layout of tree-structured documents. In principle, using CSS is easy: the developer specifies declarative constraints on the layout of an HTML document (such as the positioning of nodes in the HTML tree), and the browser solves the constraints to produce a box-based rendering of that document. In practice, however, the subtleties of CSS semantics make it difficult to develop stylesheets that produce the intended layout across different user preferences and browser settings. This paper presents the first mechanized formalization of a substantial fragment of the CSS semantics. This formalization is equipped with an efficient reduction to the theory of quantifier-free linear real arithmetic, enabling effective automated reasoning about CSS stylesheets and their behavior. We implement this reduction in Cassius, a solver-aided framework for building semantics-aware tools for CSS. To demonstrate the utility of Cassius, we prototype new tools for automated verification, debugging, and synthesis of CSS code. We show that these tools work on fragments of real-world websites, and that Cassius is a practical first step toward solver-aided programming for the web.

Everyone loves Web 2.0 applications. They are easy to use and fast, and can be accessed from any computer or smartphone without installation. They let us easily communicate and share data with one another, shop simply, and access vast amounts of information. However, they're also frequently mentioned in connection with novel exploits, data leaks, or identity theft. Active content, tight integration, and the overall complexity of the continuously evolving Web 2.0 technology create new risks that we can hardly grasp. Turning back on the technology is not a solution because we would lose many features that we've come to rely on. But how can we achieve both a pleasant user experience and security in a place as messy as the Web 2.0 landscape? First, we can look to understand the wide range of attacks as well as the complex security situation and attack surface of Web 2.0 applications. Second, we can study the open research challenges in this field and assess how best to approach these issues.

Summary Dynamic assessment of microbial ecology (DAME) is a Shiny-based web application for interactive analysis and visualization of microbial sequencing data. DAME provides researchers not familiar with R programming the ability to access the most current R functions utilized for ecology and gene sequencing data analyses. Currently, DAME supports group comparisons of several ecological estimates of α-diversity and β-diversity, along with differential abundance analysis of individual taxa. Using the Shiny framework, the user has complete control of all aspects of the data analysis, including sample/experimental group selection and filtering, estimate selection, statistical methods and visualization parameters. Furthermore, graphical and tabular outputs are supported by R packages using D3.js and are fully interactive. Availability and implementation DAME was implemented in R but can be modified by Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript. It is freely available on the web at https://acnc-shinyapps.shinyapps.io/DAME/. Local installation and source code are available through Github (https://github.com/bdpiccolo/ACNC-DAME). Any system with R can launch DAME locally provided the shiny package is installed.

A web service for University of El Salvador's electricity billing was created. Bills are from San Salvador's main campus. Data allowed to analyze electricity billing for the last two decades. This study included the period from 1998 to 2017. Result of this development is a useful tool for authorities and, in general, for university community. Electricity billing is paid by administration. However details are not notified to authorities. So college authorities can not implement effective policies to save electricity. It is expected that data access at any time and anywhere could stimulate a new culture of saving electricity. The web service runs at Google Cloud Platform which, among others, offers Google App Engine development platform. The web service demands very few resources. It works under Google free quota, made available for web developers. Development was done with several programming languages, like Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Also, it was necessary to use several frameworks such as Webapp2, Jinja2 and Bootstrap. All these software is equipped with the ability to coordinate communication between different parts of the web service.

This paper describes the processing and visualisation of measured real signals using a web interface. Real signals often contain large amounts of data. In order to derive the required information and values from these signals, an application must process them and generate clear and simple output formats - usually in the form of charts. These charts should have an interactive character, with many properties and parameter settings. In the web interface, many visualisation frameworks solve this problem. This article describes some of them - suitable for use in real environments. It is followed by the next part, in which new testing applications were designed and included in these frameworks. There is also a discussion of practical experience with them, using large real data from the industrial environment.

After its birth since early 1990s, the Web has been the major factor that drives the success of the Internet. In the past decade, the access to the Web has undergone a tremendous evolution from PC to mobile devices, i.e., via smartphones, tablet computers, and wearable devices. It is a key challenge to make the future mobile Web more "user friendly", i.e., smooth interactions, fast page load time, reasonable data traffic volume, efficient energy drain, etc. Due to the device diversity and dynamic network connections, a better client-side resource management is quite critical. This paper presents a new perspective of measuring the resource management in a proactive fashion, and identifies various insights that have not been covered by existing efforts. Then we present our visionary holistic approach to optimizing the mobile Web, including the new deployment model and runtime support along with the preliminary principled design.

The task of automated creation of mobile versions of websites that do not have responsive design becomes more and more popular. The article presents a generalized net model for building mobile content. The model was successfully used in the Mobile Online app. It can be implemented in mobile browsers and software tools to generate real-time mobile web page design.

This paper is focused on the design and the implementation of a Chabot system using search engines and teaching techniques. Chatbots are imitating human natural conversations interacting with diverse people, learning things, trying to make us believe that it is a human person behind the screen. Nowadays artificial intelligence (AI) methods are a lot more advanced than few years ago, things that help us in our day to day activities with many high level techs that make our lives easier. To perfectly simulate a human dialogue, the bot must analyze the input given by the user correctly and formulate a response that should be relevant and appropriate. The Chabot was realized as a website application based on search engines, custom learning, custom cascading style sheets and JavaScript for making conversations as real as possible.

According to the statistics of BrightPlanet in 2012, the information contained in Deep Web is 400-500 times more than those in the Surface Web. Automatic data collection under Deep Web has become one of the research hotspots in the domain of web crawlers. During the exploration of automatic dynamic web crawlers, we discover two inevitable situations which have not been processed properly by existing tools. One is that some websites adopt CSS pseudo-class to locate clickable elements, which prevents the existing technologies from simulating user actions. Another is that pop-up windows can be triggered during automatically elements clicking, where the existing web crawler procedures will be terminated. Addressing the CSS pseudo-class problem, we adopt a proxy server in our system to analyze JavaScript code of target websites both statically and dynamically. In the meantime, we propose a checking mechanism to handle the pop-up windows. Finally, we implement an automatic web crawler AutoCrawler with the aid of the proxy server. Evaluation results indicate that AutoCrawler can not only cover more dynamic interactions but also obtain more valuable data from the real-world web applications.

Modern HTML5 web pages (pages) often change various elements of their documents dynamically to provide rich functionality to users interactively. As users interact with a document via events, the combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript dynamically changes the document layout, which is the arrangement of the document elements visualized to the users. Web pages change their layouts not only to support user interaction but also to react to different screen sizes being used to run the pages. To support diverse devices with different screen sizes using a single web page document, developers use Responsive Web Design, which enables web page layouts to change when the sizes of the underlying devices change. While such dynamic features of web pages provide powerful experiences to users, they also make development of web pages more difficult. Even expert developers find it difficult to write HTML5 web pages correctly. In this paper, we first define the problem that functionalities of HTML5 web pages may become unusable due to layout changes, and propose a technique to detect the problem automatically. We show that our implementation detects such problems in real-world HTML5 web pages.
