This article examines the Treaty of Trianon made after World War I that defined the borders of Hungary. The author looks specifically at how the treaty addressed minority groups, arguing that it made up for the omission of these groups from the previous treaties such as that which formed the League of Nations. It is also suggested that former President Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points laid the foundation for subsequent treaties.
