The theme of this issue is athletics. There are articles regarding how physical activity can improve the person, how swimming is beneficial exercise for a farmer, and reports from all of the athletic clubs. The agricultural articles pertain to farm management, a tribute to the cow, how Bakewell improved livestock breeding in Britain, and the apple industry in Eastern Canada. The Experimental section contains two student theses. One on nutrition of livestock forage, and the other on mineral nutrition of oats. The Macdonald Institute column continues an article regarding the perils of winter mail delivery to P. E. I., reports on the Short Course At Home and the St. Patrick's promenades, and society meetings. Alumni news is available in the Our Old Boys column.
