This is the first report on the optical and resistance properties of copper aluminum oxide thin films for applications as thermal infrared imagers. The deposition of these films was investigated under three series of reactive magnetron sputtering conditions. Structural characterization identified the P63mmc hexagonal crystalline structure of CuAlO2 although the 150- to 350-nm thick films were in a non-stoichiometric CuAlxOy ratio. The thermal coefficient of resistance of the CuAlxOy films was measured to be in the range 1.7–2.2%/K and the resistivity ranged from 0.3 to 1.0 Ω cm with n-type nature. To explain the low indirect bandgap value of the CuAlxOy films, a type-I band alignment bulk heterojunction between CuAlO2 and Cu2O is proposed. This provides an effective method to decrease the resistivity and increase the thermal coefficient of resistance. From their optical characterization, a refractive index of 2.27 ± 0.07 was deduced, thus favoring the CuAlxOy films for antireflection coating in the long infrared wavelength region. A micromachining process of CuAlxOy micro-bridges was demonstrated with well-defined shapes at a pixel pitch of 25 μm. These findings pave the way for the future development of high-performance thermal infrared imagers.

A construcao da Cidade Universitaria Prof. Jose da Silveira Netto, campus sede da Universidade Federal do Para, foi estrategica para integracao das faculdades que existiam dispersas. Seu desenho urbano tem inspiracao nos principios urbanisticos modernos, que refletem sobre as formas de acesso e apropriacao de seus espacos comuns. Avalia-se a morfologia do campus em tres momentos: em 1977, projeto de elaboracao do arquiteto Alcyr Meira; em 2007; e em 2017, por meio de parâmetros de analise fundamentados nas dimensoes de performance de Acesso e Controle formuladas por Lynch (1981) e pelos pressupostos de Foucault (1987), assim como a sintaxe espacial (Hillier e Hanson, 1984). Analisam-se acessos, manipulacao espacial, isolamento e compartimentacao. Accesses, spatial manipulation, isolation and compartmentalization are analyzed. Este trabalho descreve o desenvolvimento do Glossário On-line da Língua Brasileira de Sinais (GOLIBRAS), um glossário de Libras voltado à comunidade surda da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), abrangendo, em sua fase prototípica, 29 sinais referentes a locais desta Universidade e que pode ser acessado no link: https://golibras.com.br. Procurou-se, por meio dele, responder à seguinte questão-foco: como proporcionar maior acesso aos sinais da Libras criados dentro do contexto da UFPA? O desenvolvimento do produto foi realizado a partir de uma pesquisa aplicada, com abordagem qualitativa, dividida em duas fases: uma voltada à pesquisa teórica, com uma revisão bibliográfica; a outra voltada ao desenvolvimento do produto de fato, dividida em três subfases: catalogação dos sinais, elaboração do website (suas características e funcionalidades) e a validação. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi focada, inicialmente, em estudos linguísticos da Libras e seus falantes, destacando a noção de comunidade surda, os parâmetros das línguas de sinais (o aspecto fonético dessas línguas), os classificadores e o modelo SignWriting para escrita de sinais em Libras. Após isso, pesquisou-se acerca da acessibilidade e sua importância, bem como as iniciativas de acessibilidade no âmbito da UFPA, com destaque para o papel da Coordenadoria de Acessibilidade (CoAcess), responsável pela criação e validação dos sinais incluídos na versão inicial do GOLIBRAS. Na segunda parte da pesquisa, do desenvolvimento do produto, primeiramente foi elaborada uma ficha catalográfica para a catalogação dos sinais dos locais da UFPA e facilitação de sua inserção no produto. Após isso, foi possível desenvolver o site propriamente, incluindo já todos os sinais mencionados, além de sua definição, exemplo de uso e informações relativas aos parâmetros utilizados em sua execução e sua escrita em SignWriting. Por fim, o produto foi validado por seis indivíduos, todos membros das comunidades surdas da UFPA e da Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia (UFRA). O produto foi considerado validado, dada a recepção positiva por parte dos avaliadores, porém ficou claro que algumas modificações seriam necessárias. Assim, concluiu-se que o GOLIBRAS possui a capacidade de alcançar o objetivo proposto e é uma ferramenta que possui potencial para auxiliar tanto na questão da acessibilidade na UFPA quanto no processo de ensino-aprendizagem do qual fazem parte os estudantes surdos, professores surdos e ouvintes e os intérpretes. This work is about the development of the Online Glossary of Brazilian Sign Language (GOLIBRAS), a glossary of Libras aimed at the deaf community of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), covering, in its prototypical phase, 29 signs referring to places of the university. We sought to answer the following question: how to provide greater access to Libras signs created within the context of UFPA? The product development was based on an applied research, with a qualitative approach, divided into two phases: one focused on theoretical research, with a bibliographic review; the other one focused on the development of the product and it was divided into three subphases: cataloging of signs, elaboration of the website (its characteristics and functionalities) and evaluation. The bibliographic research was initially focused on linguistic studies of Libras and its speakers, highlighting the notion of deaf community, the signal language parameters (the phonetic aspect of these languages), the classifiers and the SignWriting model. After that, accessibility and its importance were investigated, as well as the accessibility initiatives within the scope of UFPA, highlighting the role of the Accessibility Coordination (CoAcess), responsible for the creation and validation of the signals included in the initial version of GOLIBRAS. In the second part of the research, the development of the product, a cataloging sheet was first developed for the cataloging of signs of UFPA’s places and facilitating their insertion into the product. After that, it was possible to develop the site itself, including all the mentioned signs, besides its definition, example of use and information regarding the parameters used in its execution and its writing in SignWriting. Finally, the product was validated by six individuals, all members of the deaf communities of UFPA and the Federal Rural University of Amazonia (UFRA). The product was considered validated, given the positive reception by the evaluators, but it was clear that some modifications would be necessary. Thus, it was concluded that GOLIBRAS has the capacity to achieve the proposed objective and is a tool that has the potential to assist both in the issue of accessibility in UFPA and in the teaching and learning processes that includes deaf students, deaf and listeners professors and sign language intepreters. This article analyzes the implementation process of Pedagogy of Alternation in the degree course of Ethnodevelopment, hosted by the Federal University of Pará, Altamira campus, Brazil. Initially, it reflects on theoretical framework that ground the alternation in the perspective of ethnodevelopment and interculturality. Subsequently, it analyzes the educational gains from the adoption of the methodology, particularly in the scope of the relation between theory and practice, traditional knowledge with scientific knowledge, as well as the problems and challenges that its adoption generates in the management scope and in the teaching practice., No presente artigo se analisa o processo de implantação da Pedagogia da Alternância no Curso de Licenciatura e Bacharelado em Etnodesenvolvimento,sediado no Campus de Altamira da Universidade Federal do Pará. De início, reflete-se sobre os aportes teóricos que fundamentam a alternância na perspectiva do etnodesenvolvimento e da interculturalidade. Posteriormente, analisa-se os ganhos educacionais obtidos com a adoção da metodologia, sobretudo no plano da relação entre teoria e prática, e conhecimentos tradicionais com conhecimentos científicos, assim como os problemas e desafios que sua adoção gera no plano administrativo e na prática docente.

Ao observar a dificuldade encontrada por pessoas que temnecessidades especiais, a população preocupa-se em tomar medidas necessárias para facilitar a vida destes cidadãos. Porém, este mesmapreocupação, em muitos casos não existe com pessoas idosas, que devido àidade avançada acabam tendo os mesmos problemas, como: dificuldade delocomoção, necessidade de usar cadeiras de roda, dificuldade de visão,cansaço excessivo, etc. Neste trabalho, faremos uma análise sobre a acessibilidade paraidosos em espaços públicos da cidade de Belém do Pará, focando nossoestudo em dois shoppings e duas praças da cidade, fazendo uma comparaçãoentre espaços localizados na região central e na periferia. Para a execução de nossa pesquisa fizemos uma entrevista com umgrupo de idosos que participam do grupo Universidade da Terceira Idade (UNITERCI) da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), e para coleta dos dados em campo tiramos fotos dos elementos de acesso nos locais públicos, paraposteriormente fazermos nossas análises.

The present article analyze the logic of the identity ins/constitution and perception of affirmative action of 19 university students self-declared indigenous on Federal University of Pará. This "other" ethnic belonging set in a varied statement of be indigenous conditioned in issues genealogic, symbolic and territorial, that brings consequences in the reference indigenous population in Brazil and the politico-anthropological recognition of identity. The transition of the axis of identity to the indigenous rights, mediated by affirmative action, has shown effects on account of be indigenous that came into the relation of alterity to the "other" covered by quotas, such complex which makes the connection between identity construction and affirmative action a conditional need on social and political aspects.

O presente artigo analisa a lógica da ins/constituição identitária e percepção sobre ações afirmativas de 19 estudantes universitários autodeclarados indígenas vinculados a Universidade Federal do Pará. Este “outro” pertencimento étnico configura-se numa afirmação variada do ser indígena condicionada a aspectos genealógicos, simbólicos e territoriais, com reflexos no referencial demográfico indígena no Brasil e nas condições político-antropológicas de reconhecimento identitário. A passagem do eixo da identidade para a dos direitos indígenas, mediada pela questão das ações afirmativas, revelou efeitos na consideração do ser indígena pelo ingresso na relação de alteridade com o “outro” contemplado pelas cotas, de tal modo complexa que torna a ligação entre ins/constituição identitária e ações afirmativas uma necessidade acessória, condicionada a aspectos sociopolíticos., The present article analyze the logic of the identity ins/constitution and perception of affirmative action of 19 university students self-declared indigenous on Federal University of Pará.
