Abstract

Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is a rare, non-infectious neutrophilic dermatosis of unclear aetiology. Twenty out of 36 patients presented with co-morbidities: ulcerative colitis was found in 12 patients (33.3%) and Crohn's disease in six patients (16.7%). One patient with a single PG lesion refused systemic glucocorticoid treatment and received topical calcineurin inhibitor treatment instead. [Extracted from the article]
