This paper is purposed to manage the safety of the pedestrian while crossing the Zebra Crossing. The vehicles are supposed to stop behind the standard line as soon as the traffic signal turns red. Nevertheless, people often neglect the rules and regulations, they tend to cross the crosswalk henceforth people crossing the road ought to face consequences. So, this surveillance system will ensure that pedestrians cross the road safely and there is no problem in crossing the traffic junction. This Paper involves several devices which will work together in a single module to ensure the safety of the pedestrians on the road which is very important for the betterment of the local citizens and our paper justify it. The traffic signal area will be monitored by a surveillance camera and PIR sensor all the time, With the help of Image processing and IoT, the proposed system will check if anyone tries to break the traffic rule; an SMS will be sent to the vehicle owner regarding violating the rule and will be fined.
