Hepatic angiosarcoma is a rare vascular neoplasm which occurs typically in men aged between 50 and 70 years. The cause is unknown but previous studies have linked several carcinogens to its pathogenesis. A case of advanced multifocal hepatic angiosarcoma with splenic metastasis is presented with brief discussion of the clinical and histological features. Lemierre’s syndrome, characterized by infective thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein with septic emboli, was once a ubiquitous condition with high mortality rate in the pre-antibiotic era. Radiological literature on this condition has been scanty in the era of cross-sectional imaging.
