The article presents a study which evaluates the local control, survival and toxicity of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for colorectal liver metastases patients. Twenty colorectal hepatic metastases patients who are not candidates for resection or radiofrequency ablation (RFA) received SBRT with curative intent. The study revealed that SBRT is an alternative treatment for patients with unresectable colorectal liver metastases or an option therapy for recurrence after liver surgery.
