An essay is presented which explores a selection of professor Wang Weifan's writings based on the two phrases "the Lord of the cosmos" as well as "the Lord of history."It examines the role of Wang's Christology into his theological method and his formulations revealing a unique understanding of the cosmic Christ and discusses Bishop Ding Guangxun's Christology in China.
