An essay is presented on teleology and modern philosophy. It discusses the theses of explanatory parity and goodness as markers of the views on teleology. It states that in divine teleology, it is closer to say that things created by God are perfect instead of saying that God acts for the good things he produced. It mentions that based on a philosopher's understanding of divine will and divine creation, things present in the world are used because of their goodness.
