Ill ÖZET Doktora Tezi XVI. Yüzyılda Anadolu'da Sanayi Ümit KOÇ Fırat Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Tarih Ana Bilim Dalı 2003; Sayfa: XXIV+279 XVI. Yüzyılda Anadolu'da Sanayi isimli doktora tez çalışmamız sekiz bölümden meydana gelmektedir. XVI. yüzyılda Anadolu'da faaliyet gösteren belli başlı sanayi işletmelerini (savaş sanayii, dokuma sanayii, deri sanayii, yağ ve yağ mamulleri sanayii, içki sanayii, çini ve seramik sanayii, değirmenler ve tuzlalar) ele alıp incelediğimiz bu çalışmamızda, dönemin sanayii anlayışı elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda metodik olarak sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. XVI. yüzyıl Anadolu sanayii üzerine genel bir çalışmanın şu ana değin yapılmamış olması, bu çalışmanın yapılmasını teşvik etmiştir. Ağırlıklı olarak arşiv vesikaları (Mühimme Defterleri, Tapu-tahrir defterleri, Şer'iye sicilleri ve Mukataa kayıtları) ve tetkik eserler kullanılarak meydana getirilen bu çalışmada, metot olarak öncelikle tetkik eserlerde sunulan bilgilerden istifade edilmiş, eksik kısımlar yapılan arşiv çalışmalarıyla giderilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca konunun daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için çalışmada çok sayıda tablo ve harita kullanılmış bazen ilgili resimlere de yer verilmiştir. Century Ümit KOÇ University of Fırat The Institute of Social Sciences Departman of History 2003; Page:XXrV+279 This doctorate thesis which was formed in eight chapters called The Industry of Anatolia in 16 century. The study explores the main branchs of industry like the industries of war, textile, leather, vegetable oil and fat (sesame oil, soap, candle etc.), drink (wine and boza), tile and ceramic in adition saltpan and mill. This study have target to put forward the understandin of industy in Anatolia in 16. century as methodic. We decided to exeminate this study. Because, until now whatever study has been not created about the industry of Anatolia in 16. century. While we was examinating this study benefiting from the Ottoman archives documents (Mühimme Defters, Tahrir Deftere, Şer'iye Sicils, Mukataa Defters) and besides the printed studies (book, article, thesis etc). Firstly, we used this printed studies for determining the limits of topic and then using the archives documents for completing deficiency. Avrupa?da Coğrafi Keşifler sonrasında başlayan okyanus ötesi ticaretin ve sömürgecilik faaliyetlerinin en önemli aktörlerinden biri Hollanda Birleşik Doğu Hindistan Şirketi?dir. Felemenkçe adı ?Verenigde Oost-Indisch Compagnie? olan şirket kısaca ?VOC? olarak bilinmektedir.Yüksek Lisans tezi olan bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, Birleşik Doğu Hindistan Şirketi öncesinde Hollanda ticareti, ikinci bölümde Hollanda?da kurulan ilk Doğu Hindistan şirketleri ve Asya?ya düzenledikleri ilk ticari seferler, Hollanda Birleşik Doğu Hindistan Şirketi?nin kuruluşu ve Hollanda?daki idare merkezleri ele alınmıştır. Son bölümde ise şirketin Hollanda Hindistan?ı olarak bilinen Endonezya Adaları?ndaki ilk faaliyetleri üzerinde durulmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Hollanda, Doğu Hindistan, Şirket, Endonezya, VOC One of the most important actors of overseas trade and colonial activities that began in Europe after the age of discovery is Dutch United East India Company. The company, which called `Verenigde Oost-Indisch Compagnie` in dutch language, is known as ` VOC` in short.This thesis have three chapters: In the first chapter, Dutch trade prior to Dutch East India Company, in the second chapter, initial East India companies that were established in Dutch and their early commercial expeditions to Asia and foundation of Dutch East India Company and its headquarters in Dutch have been discussed. Bu yüksek lisans tez çalışması klasik dönem Osmanlı ülkesinde endüstriyel üretim organizasyonu üzerine bazı önemli bilgi ve tespitleri ihtiva etmektedir. Bu çalışma giriş ve sonuç bölümleri hariç üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır.Birinci Bölüm, Osmanlı endüstriyel üretim organizasyonunda hammadde temini hakkında önemli bilgiler ihtiva etmektedir. Özellikle gemi inşası için ihtiyaç duyulan kereste, top ve gülle dökümü için gerekli demir ve barut üretimi için gerekli güherçile ne suretle temin edilir bu bölümde değerlendirilmiştir.İkinci Bölüm, endüstriyel üretimde işgücü organizasyonu hakkında bilgi sunmaktadır. Bu bölümde özellikle teknik işgücü, askeri işgücü ve mesleki işgücü üzerinde durulmaktadır.Üçüncü Bölüm, hammadde veya mamul maddenin ilgili alanlara nakledilmesiyle ilgilidir. Bu bölümde özellikle kara taşımacılığı, deniz taşımacılığı, göl ve ırmak taşımacılığı üzerinde durulmuştur.Bu çalışma birebir Osmanlı Arşiv vesikalarından (Mühimme kayıtları ve Kanunnamelerden) istifade ile hazırlanmış kaynak bir çalışma niteliğindedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Osmanlı Devleti, endüstri, işgücü, hammadde, nakliye. This master thesis involves some important information and determinations about the industrial product organization in the Ottoman Empire in the classical period. This study consists of three main chapters without introduction and conclusion.The first chapter includes some important information about the supply of raw material in the Ottoman industrial produc organization. Especially at this chapter we discussed which methods were used to supply the timber for the ship building; the iron for the casting of gun and cannonball; and the saltpeter for the production of gunpowder.The second chapter submits the information about the workforce organization of the industrial production. In this chapter the determinations become dense on the technical workforce, military workforce and vocational workforce (for crafts).The third chapter is about the transportation of the raw materials and the products to the destination. This chapter especially involves the information for the transportation of overland, maritime, lake and river.This study is an origin study directly written by the Ottoman archive documents (the registers of Mühimme and the code of laws).Key Words: the Ottoman Empire, industry, workforce, raw material, transportation, 172
