Nowadays, business is not only a financial entity. The environmental impact of rapid business growth necessitates solutions. This study considers natural resource orchestration theory (ROT) to study the impact of the environment management control system (MCS) package and green intellectual capital (IC) on environmental performance through the mediating role of top management support (TMS) and the interaction role of green business strategies. This study employed partial least squares structural equation modeling to analyze 358 questionnaires. Simple sampling was used to collect data from Pakistan manufacturing firms. The results revealed that the environmental MCS package significantly influences environmental performance directly and through TMS mediation. Still, the green IC does not influence environmental performance directly or through mediation in selected industries of Pakistan. Furthermore, the interaction of TMS and green business strategies significantly determines environmental performance. This study suggests managers use the environmental MCS package, green IC, top management support, and green business strategies in decision-making to determine environmental performance of manufacturing firms in Pakistan even though green IC has no influence on environmental performance. Considering the vulnerable climatic conditions in most parts of the planet, a successful transition toward a carbon-free future is a critical challenge worldwide. In this respect, around 35% of the world's total greenhouse gas emission (GHG) is associated with the power sector (especially electrical energy). To this end, a vast of electrical energy has been used by the people in buildings. Specifically, a significant amount of energy in buildings is used for heating, cooling, and ventilation. While the available literature highlights the importance of neat, clean, and green electrical energy for the decarbonization of society, a critical gap exists in such literature. That is, most of the literature under this stream deals with the supply side (production) of electrical energy, while the demand side (consumption at an individual level) was neglected. To bridge this critical knowledge gap, this study investigates how the CSR engagement of a hotel organization can promote the energy-related pro-environmental behavior (ERPEB) among the employees with the intervening effect of employees' environmental commitment (EMEC) and Green intrinsic motivation (GRIM). Further, the conditional indirect role of altruistic values was also tested in this study. The data were collected from different hotel employees in Pakistan with the help of a self-administered questionnaire. We tested the hypothesized relationship through structural equation modeling (SEM). The results confirmed that CSR can be a potential motivator to impact the ERPEB of employees, while EMEC and GRIM mediated this relationship significantly. The findings of this study also confirmed the conditional indirect role of altruistic values. These findings offer various theoretical and practical contributions which are conversed in detail. The present research aims to investigate the effects of service failure and complaint handling on customer satisfaction with complaint handling which consequently impacts overall satisfaction and brand credibility. To examine the objectives of the present research, the authors deployed a sample of 384 respondents in Persian banks within Iran. Structural equation modeling has been used to analyze the data. The findings suggest that the magnitude of service failure negatively effects customer satisfaction with complaint handling. Complaint handling positively affects customer satisfaction with complaint handling. In addition, the results suggest that customer satisfaction with complaint handling positively influences brand credibility and overall satisfaction. Finally, overall satisfaction positively impacts brand credibility. The results revealed that if the complaint handling occurs instantly at the right time, it would have been a positive influence on customer satisfaction and ultimately develop brand credibility. Therefore, banks can adopt customer relationship management systems and processes which enable quick responses to customer complaints. Bank managers could find the results of the present study useful and beneficial in developing complaint handling efforts and expanding appropriate service recovery and brand credibility strategies. Green IT has attracted policy makers and IT managers within organizations to use IT resources in cost-effective and energy-efficient ways. Investigating the factors that influence decision-makers' intention towards the adoption of Green IT is important in the development of strategies that promote the organizations to use Green IT. Therefore, the objective of this study stands to understand potential factors that drive decisions makers in Malaysian manufacturing sector to adopt Green IT. This research accordingly developed a model by integrating two theoretical models, Theory of Planned Behavior and Norm Activation Theory, to explore individual factors that influence decision' makers in manufacturing sector in Malaysia to adopt Green IT via the mediation of personal norms. Accordingly, to determine predictive factors that influence managerial intention toward Green IT adoption, the researchers conducted a comprehensive literature review. The data was collected from 183 decision-makers from Malaysian manufacturing sector and analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling. This research provides important preliminary insights in understanding the most significant factors that determined managerial intention towards Green IT adoption. The model of Green IT adoption explained factors which encourages individual decision-makers in the Malaysian organizations to adopt Green IT initiatives for environment sustainability. Recommender systems were introduced to improve the online shopping experience by recommending appropriate products and services to customers according to their preferences. This research develops a new model by identifying the factors that influence customers' purchase intention in recommender systems. The research model of this study was developed by reviewing the previous studies on web-based information systems, e-commerce and recommender systems. Quantitative data was collected from questionnaires conducted among the customers of online shopping websites. The questionnaires was adopted from the previous researches, and validated by the experts in the fields of information systems and recommender systems. Descriptive and hypotheses' analyses were performed on the collected data using statistical analysis software and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results reveal that Accuracy, Diversity, Ease of Use, Recommendation Quality, Satisfaction, Trust and Usefulness have significant influence on customers' intention to purchase a product recommended by the recommender systems. The developed model and the findings of this research will help e-commerce websites' developers and e-commerce providers to enhance the recommender systems based on the factors that contribute to their quality. • This study investigates the impact of eWOM on travel decision-making during the COVID-19 outbreak. • A two-stage methodology is developed using structural equation modeling and cluster analysis. • There is a significant relationship between trust and perceived risk. • There is a significant relationship between perceived risk and the decision to travel. • It is found that the perceived risk has a higher impact on the decision to travel in the female sample. Social media users share a variety of information and experiences and create Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) in the form of positive or negative opinions to communicate with others. In the context of the COVID-19 outbreak, eWOM has been an effective tool for knowledge sharing and decision making. This research aims to reveal what factors of eWOM can influence travelers' trust in their decision-making to travel during the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, we aim to find the relationships between trust in eWOM and perceived risk, and perceived risk and the decision to travel. These relationships are investigated based on online customers' reviews in TripAdvisor's COVID-19 forums. We use a two-stage data analysis which includes cluster analysis and structural equation modeling. In the first stage, a questionnaire survey was designed and the data was collected from 1546 respondents by referring to the COVID-19 forums on TripAdvisor. Specifically, we use k -means to segment the users' data into different groups. In the second stage, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was performed to inspect the relations between the variables in the hypothesized research model using a subsample of 679 respondents. The results of the first stage of the analysis showed that three segments could be discovered from the collected data for trust based on eWOM source and eWOM message attributes. These segments clearly showed that there are significant relationships between trust and perceived risk, and between perceived risk and the decision to travel. The results in all segments showed that users with a low level of trust have a high level of perceived risk and a low level of intention to travel during the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, it was found that users with a high level of e-trust have a low level of perceived risk and a high level of intention to travel. These results were confirmed in all segments and these relationships were confirmed by SEM. The results of SEM revealed that visual and external information moderated the relationship between eWOM length and trust, and experience moderated the relationship between trust and perceived risk. Green information technology (IT) adoption has helped enhance the overall organization's environmental sustainability. Developing the strategies for effective adoption of Green IT is one of the essential goals of decision-makers. This study purposes to investigate the factors that influence decision-makers' intention to use Green IT and the proposed green IT adoption model in Malaysian manufacturing firms. The 183 valid data were obtained using survey questionnaires from Malaysia's manufacturing industries' industrial managers and examine collect data through two analytical techniques. Two-staged structural equation modeling and artificial neural network applied for hypotheses evaluation and finding the significance level of every factor in the model. The outcomes of hypotheses evaluation through structural equation modeling revealed that managerial interpretation and ascription of responsibility have a significant role in predicting the adoption of green information technology in manufacturing companies. Besides, the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) results showed that the managerial interpretation and ascription of responsibility are considered as the most significant factors of green information technology adoption. Electric vehicles have significantly contributed to the sustainability of world economic growth. It is of critical importance to understand and examine the factors impacting the consumers' attitude toward the adoption of electric vehicles. However, limited study investigated the effect of altruism on electric vehicles adoption from a pro-environmental behaviour perspective. Therefore, the present work aimed at identifying the influencing factors on consumers' intention to use electric vehicles. To this end, a model has been developed based on two theoretical models called the Norm Activation Model and the Theory of Planned Behaviour. The potential consumers in Malaysia were selected to answer questionnaires. Accordingly, 177 valid questionnaires were collected and the influencing factors on the electric vehicles purchase intention were empirically analyzed using a structural equation model. According to the results, perceived value, attitude, the ascription of responsibility, subjective norms, personal norms, perceived consumer effectiveness, and awareness of consequences affected the consumers' electric vehicles' purchase intention significantly and positively. Consumers' behaviour regarding the adoption of electric vehicles can be understood better through the findings of this study, while electric vehicle development can be promoted as well.
