Tonight we begin with the severe storms and flash flood watch in the heartland. The area already pummeled by weeks of torrential rain. This time lapse video showing a super cell spinning near Kalamazoo, Michigan. At least one confirmed tornado in the area. In Kansas, wind gusts up to 65 miles per hour blowing dust over the roads and darkening the sky. Heavy rain and lightning threatening college football season openers in Ohio and Nebraska. The Huskers game postponed. And tonight, a tropical storm watch just issued for parts of the Gulf Coast as we head directly into the peak of hurricane season. And by the way, we'd had half the number of tornadoes that we would normally have in the month of May, and then came June. 24 tornadoes reported this week, 10 just yesterday, and some of them coming at a time that could have been catastrophic.
