With the developments in the communacation technology, soccer has been watched in live broadcasts by billions of people all over the world and increased its interest and affection deeply. As a result of this affection and interest to soccer, countries and soccer clubs have beeen giving great importanceon soccer sector in order to take many supporters in it by the help of national and international soccer organizations. Because of the fact that soccer has been getting industrialized, small clubs, having economical dilemma and crisis except the big ones, have been trying to find new income sources. In the firs step, these clubs have increased the ticket prices of te matches,but the number of supporters, coming to the stadiums has decreased and then they have tried to take some precautions, but unfortunately most of them were insufficient. Through this thesis, the prices and incomes of some matches of soccer clubs have been examined. Some other topics are such as; the demographic and socioeconomical properties of supporters who don't go to stadiums, the reasons of why they don't go to matches, the relations between the negative reasons and various variables, expectations of suppporters who want to go stadiums in the follwing seasons and the relations between the demographical variables and differences of the groups. Finally, in the light of the findings, taken from the research, some suggestions have been given. It is thought that those suggestions will be helpful in order to increase the incomes of match tickets and also effective in the soccer economy researches in the following years. İletisim teknolojisinde yasanan gelismelerle beraber futbol dünya üzerinde milyarlarca insan tarafından canlı yayınlarla izlenerek kendisine duyulan ilgi ve sevgiyi arttırmıstır. Futbola duyulan bu sevgi ve ilginin sonucu olarak ülkeler ve kulüpler futbol sektörüne daha çok önem verip ulusal ve uluslararası futbol organizasyonları ile çok daha fazla sayıda insanı futbolun içine çekmeye çalısmaktadırlar. Futbolun giderek endüstriyellesmesi ile birlikte özellikle büyük kulüplerin dısında kalan kesim ekonomik açıdan çıkmazlara girmis yeni gelir kaynakları arama yollarına gitmislerdir. ilk etapta maç bilet fiyatlarını arttıran bu kulüpler stadyuma gelen taraftar sayılarının giderek azalması karsısında çesitli önlemler almaya çaba gösterseler de bu çabaların çogu yetersiz kalmıstır. Bu çalısmada Türkiye'deki futbol kulüplerinin gise gelirlerini artırmaya yönelik uygulamalar incelenmis, stadyuma gitmeyen taraftarların demografik ve sosyoekonomik özellikleri, stadyuma gitmeme nedenleri, katılımcıların çesitli degiskenleri ile stadyumlara gitmeme nedenleri arasındaki iliskileri, önümüzdeki sezonlarda stadyumlara giderek maç izlemek isteyen katılımcıların beklentileri ve bu beklentiler ile bazı demografik degiskenler arasındaki iliskiler ve farklar gruplandırılarak verilmistir. Çalısma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular ısıgında çesitli önerilerde bulunulmustur. Çalısmada verilen önerilerin futbol kulüplerinin gise gelirlerini arttırmalarına yardımcı olabilecegi ve ileride yapılacak futbol ekonomisi çalısmalarında yol gösterecegi düsünülmektedir. This research was conducted to investigate the effect of management factor on team performance had joined the football contest between the seasons in Adana. At first, literature review was done about leadership models from past to today. As a second step data was collected about coaches' leadership style via survey. According to results, the mean age of coaches was 45.39 (st.deviation=8.78).All coaches were male and 62.7% of them had a high school diploma. Majority of them (82.3%) were married and only %2 of them did not play soccer before coaching. As a result, it was found that majority of soccer coaches had a medium level autocratic leadership style in Adana. Finally, this research showed that there wasn't enough management support on the football teams of the Adana. Bu çalısmada Türkiye'nin Adana ilindeki amatör futbol takımlarında antrenörlük yapan bireylerin liderlik tarzları arastırılmıstır. Çalısmanın ilk asamasında liderlik üzerine yazılmıs literatür örneklerinden bilgiler toplanmıs ve geçmisten günümüze kadar olan dönemde kullanılmıs liderlik yaklasımları belirlenmeye çalısılmıstır. Çalısmanın ikinci asamasında ise Adana ilinde aktif futbol kulüplerinde antrenörlük yapan 51 bireyin liderlik tarzlarını belirlemek amacıyla anket çalısması ile veriler toplanmıstır. Çalısmada elde edilen bilgilere göre antrenörlerin ortalama yasının 45.39 (st. Sapma=8.78) bulunmustur. Antrenörlerin tamamı erkektir ve %62.7'si lise mezunudur. Antrenörlerin %82.3'ü evli ve sadece %2'si antrenörlükten önce sporculuk yapmamıstır. Çalısma sonucunda Adana'daki futbol takımlarında antrenörlük yapan bireylerin liderlik tarzları orta düzeyde otokratik olarak belirlenmistir. Çukurova Üniversitesi Öğrencilerinin Spor Ve Spora Katılımın Sosyalleşmeyle İlişkisi Üzerine Görüşleri Bu çalışmada, sporun sosyolojik boyutlarının bireylerin gelişimine, eğitimine ve sosyalleşmelerine olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Böylelikle, üniversite öğrencilerin spor ve spora katılım ile sosyalleşme ilişkisi üzerine görüşlerinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma evreni Çukurova Üniversitesi öğrencilerini kapsamaktadır. Öğrencilerin bölüm, öğrenim şekli ve cinsiyet bakımından evrende temsil ettikleri yüzdelik değerler hesaplanmış ve Bayesgil yaklaşımıyla büyüklüğü 384 olarak tespit edilen örnekleme uyarlanmıştır. Böylelikle evrenin tutarlı şekilde temsil edilmesi sağlamıştır. Yüz yüze uygulanan anketlerden derlenen verilerin sayısal olarak özetlenmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılmıştır. Sporun sosyalleşme sürecindeki etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla birtakım hipotezler oluşturularak bunların geçerlilikleri uygulanan istatistiksel testlerle araştırılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, aile teşviki olmasa dahi öğrencilerin spora olan ilgilenim düzeylerinin yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Sporun bir sosyalleşme aracı olarak algılanması cinsiyete göre farklılık göstermektedir. Bir diğer dikkat çekici bulgu da, öğrencilerin sporun sosyalleşmeye olumlu etkilerinin bilincinde oldukları, fakat çoğunluğun sosyalleşme amacıyla spor yapmadığıdır. Anahtar Sözcükler: Sosyalleşme, Spor ve toplum, Üniversite öğrencileri vi The Sentiments of Çukurova University Students On Sports And The Sports Participation - Socialization Relationship This study examines the effects of sports to the progression, education and interaction of individuals by considering the communal dimensions of sports. Thus, it is intented to determine the sentiments of university students on sports and the sports participation - socialization relationship. The research population consists of students enrolled in Çukurova University. The population percentages ragarding the department enrolled, type of education and gender are calculated and adapted to the 384 sampled students ascertained by Bayesian model. Thus a consistent representation of the population is achieved. Descriptive statistics is employed for summarizing data gathered through questionnaires. The validity of the hypotetical constructs, designed to determine the effects of sports in the socialization process, is examined by applying appropriate statistical tests. Results indicate that even the family encouragement is lacking, involvement level regarding the sport activities is immense. Besides, the perception of sports as a socialization device varies among genders. As an overall consequence, it is disclosed that students are cognisant of the positive effects of sports to the socialization, yet the majority does not participate in sports for that purpose.
