The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to discuss the issue of specific learning disabilities, with primary focus on upper secondary school students and their education. The theoretical part provides clarification of the individual disabilities as well as their classification into categories. The important factors leading to the development of learning disabilities at young age are explained in this part of thesis. Particular emphasis is placed on the methods of diagnostics of individual learning difficulties, on investigation of re- educational activities and remedial measures. The question of appropriate assessment of students with specific disorders is discussed in depth. In addition, the current system of professional counselling for students with specific learning needs and the forms of individual learning plans already put in praxis will be introduced. The theoretical part will be based on using of scientific methods of primary and secondary sources´analysis and synhesis. The qualitative research conducted on the upper secondary schools located in the South Moravian region will constitute the empirical part of the thesis. School surveys will be distributed to sample teachers with the aim to gather data related to the practical aspects of education. The main focus will be put on collecting opionions, practical approaches and values held by teachers concerning working with students facing learning disabilities. The outcome of the research will be a set of comprehensive recommendations to improve pedagogical work and to increase learning opportunities for young people with learing difficulties.

This bachelor thesis deals with specific learning disabilities in public awareness. In the introduction of the theoretical part is a brief mention of the history of specific learning disorders. After that explaining the issue of specific learning disorders, the international classification of diseases and the causes of these disorders. The next chapter describes individual types of specific learning disabilities. Part of the work is devoted to specific learning disorders along with gifting and correcting specific learning disorders. Specifically, it is an individual educational plan and reeducation. The practical part is based on a survey of 45 respondents (women and men of different age categories). Here is used the quantitative method of research, namely the method of questioning in the form of a questionnaire. At the end of the work is a summary of the research result. The aim of the theoretical part is to characterize and define the concept of specific learning disabilities. Explain concepts such as reeducation, individual educational plan, and international classification of diseases. The aim of the practical part is to find out what the public is aware of about specific learning disorders.

This part also describes diagnostics of the disorders, facilitations realized for the pupils and the impact on teaching Czech classes. The practical part of the thesis contains important information. It is consisted from interview with a teacher of the Czech language, from observing pupils with specific learning disorders and from analysis of their written language.

The practical part is devoted to the research, which was conducted through a semi-structured interview.

This thesis is focused on occurrence of specific learning disorders among primary education pupils in the selected basic schools and teachers'work with these pupils. The theoretical part of the thesis aims on delimitation of specific learning disorders; diagnostics; re-education; and potentional learning possibilities. Practical part analyses teachers' preparedness for specific learning disorders in the regions of Hradec Králové and Prague. Data were collected by means of questionnaire method. The thesis' objective is to discover a frequency and type of learning disorders occurring in the selected basic schools; how are teachers prepared for the issue of specific learning disorders among basic school pupils; and what methods are used in education of pupils with learning disorders. Secondary objective is to discover a share of pupils with learning disorders in inspected classrooms. Examined data showed that teachers have necessary professional qualities for education of pupils suffering from learning disabilities.

This thesis deals with teacher´s ingress to pupils with dysorthography in the first grade of primary school. In the theoretical part, the key elements are definition of item specific defect of learning and its ground allocations. As the next I´m working with charakteristic and definiton of ground terms, in that case dysorthography, its occasions and allocution, diagnostic and bases of reeducative care. The practical part consists of pupils with dysorthography. Thanks to contemplation I find out the teacher´s attitude to pupils. Some informations about pupils are rectified thanks to teacher´s question blank. At the end, the findings should map the teacher´s attitude and ingress to pupils with dysorthography during education.

This bachelor thesis discusses specific learning disorders of students from point view of high school pedagogues. It follows the approach of pedagogues towards pupils and their specific disorders. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part of the thesis states basic defintions of speficic learning disorderes, their brief overview and puts emphasis on education of pupils with specific learning disorders. It discusses personality of the educator and his or her approach towards the students with specific learning disorders. Methods used in the theoritical part are mostly study of specialised literature, taking notes, their further analysis, comparison and synthesis. Practical part engages in discussion whether or not are teachers sufficiently informed of special learning disorders and what is their relevant knowledge on this topic. Used method was a questionary distributed among teachers. The outcome of this thesis will be used as a suggestion for teaching practice and were elaborted by descriptive statistic.

In this thesis I would like to deal with the issue, which is in my opinion, still current. The number of children with learning disabilities has been growing constantly and working with them has been getting more and more demanding. The correct diagnosis of learning disabilities is very important for a child and involves the participation of the pedagogical-psychological counselling institution. The correct educational approach in an ordinary class at primary school is also important to these students. It's the teacher who finally makes the individual educational year plan and suggests different ways of re-education. The thesis deals with access schools and teachers to handicapped students. Theoretical part follows problems of pupils with special educational needs and its legislation, the concept of handicap and disability forms. I characterize from the forms of disability specific learning disorders, brain dysfunction and behavior disorders, cerebral palsy, autism and Asperger syndrome. The last chapter of this part focuses on the conditions, legislation, documents and statistical data in the field of disabled pupils integration. For the practical part I have set several goals: regarding the run of the lesson, teacher access and work of pupils with special educational needs; realize education with handicapped students to obtain my own experience; conduct interviews with teachers, with teacher's assistant, possibly with a special needs teacher in order to obtain an opinion of teaching staff to integrateion and obtain advice for access to pupils with special educational needs; through questionnaires for schools to determine the conditions for integration of handicapped pupils, and finally summarize the recommendations and create a handbook for teachers beginning to work with pupils with special educational needs.

This study addresses the problems of specific learning disorders in elementary school children. It attempts to elucidate individual types of disorders and their most common symptoms in children. Furthermore, the work describes well known theories of the causes of specific learning disorders, their diagnostics, and primary ways leading towards minimization and correction of disorders. The whole study is divided into four chapters. Individual chapters are based on the best known knowledge in the area of specific learning disorders. The first chapter explores the causes of disorders, i.e. the theories attempting to explain specific learning disorders from the viewpoints of genetics, brain disorders, faulty information processing, light mental dysfunctions and last but not least {--} the environmental effects. The next chapter classifies and explains individual diagnostic procedures and tests needed before establishing child{\crq}s diagnosis. The third chapter addresses individual specific learning disorders. It describes their definitions and main symptoms The last chapter is devoted to disorders minimization. There we introduce Individual Educational Plan as well as the exercises appropriate to individual disorders.
