Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant global health concern, particularly in Indonesia. Ensuring rational TB treatment is crucial for effective disease control and preventing the emergence of drug resistance. This study aimed to evaluate the rationality of TB treatment among newly diagnosed drug-susceptible pulmonary TB patients in a primary care center in Bandung. A descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 56 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Treatment rationality was assessed based on the Indonesian Society of Respirology 2021 and the National Guidelines for Medical Services 2020. While 100% of patients received the correct medication for the right indication and dose, the duration of therapy was suboptimal for most patients (83.93%) due to drug unavailability. This resulted in a lower-than-ideal treatment regimen, potentially compromising treatment outcomes and increasing the risk of drug resistance. These findings highlight the need for improved drug supply management and adherence to treatment guidelines to optimize TB treatment outcomes and reduce the burden of TB in Indonesia.

Hipertensi merupakan kondisi tekanan darah di atas normal dimana tekanan darah sistolik > 140 mmHg dan diastolik > 90 mmHg. Tekanan darah yang tidak terkendali pada pasien hipertensi dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskular. Pengunaan obat hipertensi yang tidak tepat akan menyebabkan masalah yang serius terhadap pelayanan kesehatan dikarenakan akan menyebabkan dampak yang negatif kepada pasien sehingga pola peresepan menjadi hal yang penting. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola peresepan obat antihipertensi, sehingga dapat diketahui obat yang diresepkan pada pasien hipertensi berdasarkan umur, jenis kelamin, golongan obat dan jenis obat yang diresepkan. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif observasional. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu Apotek Kota Cimahi periode Januari-Desember 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi sebanyak 89 pasien pada rentang usia 51-60 tahun (58.43%), dengan jenis kelamin terbanyak laki-laki sebesar 59 pasien (66,3%). Penggunaan monoterapi yang terbanyak pada peresepan obat ramipril sebanyak 17 pasien (19,1%), kombinasi 2 golongan obat furosemide dan ramipril sebanyak 6 pasien (3,4%) dan penggunaan 3 kombinasi obat hidroklortiazid, kaptopril dan nebivolol sebanyak 1 pasien (1,25%). Potensi mekanisme interaksi obat secara farmakodinamik terjadi sebanyak 7 pasien (87,5%) dan tidak diketahui sebanyak 1 pasien (12,5%). Berdasarkan tingkat keparahan dapat terjadi potensi interaksi secara major sebanyak 3 pasien (37,5%) pada penggunaan kombinasi obat kandesartan dan rampiril, interaksi obat secara moderate sebanyak 5 pasien (62,5%) pada penggunaan kombinasi obat furosemid dan rampiril; hidroklortiazid dan nebivolol; hidroklortiazid, nebivolol dan kaptopril. Kata kunci: antihipertensi, pola peresepan, interaksi obat Abstract Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure is above normal, where systolic blood pressure is > 140 mmHg and diastolic > 90 mmHg. Uncontrolled blood pressure in hypertensive patients can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Inappropriate use of hypertension medication will cause serious problems for health services because it will have a negative impact on patients, so prescribing patterns are important. The aim of this research is to determine the pattern of antihypertensive drug prescribing, so that we can find out the drugs prescribed to hypertensive patients based on age, gender, drug class and type of drug prescribed. The design used in this research is descriptive observational. The research was conducted at one of the Cimahi City pharmacies for the period Januar-December 2019. The results of the study showed that the number of patients who met the inclusion criteria was 89 patients in the age range 51-60 years (58.43%), with the largest gender being male at 59 patients (66.3%). The highest use of monotherapy was the prescription of the drug ramipril as many as 15 patients (16.9%), a combination of 2 classes of drugs furosemide and ramipril as many as 6 patients (3.4%) and the use of 3 combinations of hydrochlorthiazide, captopril and nebivolol as many as 1 patient (1, 25%). The potential mechanism for pharmacodynamic drug interactions occurred in 7 patients (87.5%) and was unknown in 1 patient (12.5%). Based on the level of severity, there could be a potential for major interactions in 3 patients (37.5%) when using the combination of kandesartan and rampiril, moderate drug interactions in 5 patients (62.5%) when using the combination of furosemide and rampiril; hydrochlorthiazide and nebivolol; hydrochlorthiazide, nebivolol and captopril.
