This paper focuses on the dynamic of milk protein in cows and sheep and explores the factors that influence milk protein content. Milk protein plays a crucial role in determining the quantity and quality of milk products, and therefore, various studies have been carried out to investigate the factors that influence milk protein content. To achieve this, we plan to monitor several farms raising different breeds of cows and sheep over a period of time to determine the changes of protein content. The breeds of cows that will be monitored include Holstein, Brown, and Romanian Spotted breeds. While the breeds of sheep that will be monitored have not yet been determined. Previous research has shown that optimizing the nutrition and management of cows and sheep can increase milk protein content. However, further research is necessary to better understand the complex dynamic of milk protein in both species and to develop best practices for improving milk production and quality. This paper examines the determinants of municipalities' absorption capac- ity, with a special focus on local governments' administrative capacity in rural Roma- nia. The analysis is based on a series of quantitative and qualitative data collected in the period 2009-2012. The study's dependent variable is the municipality's absorp- tion capacity, measured as the number of approved projects benefiting from European funds in the period 2009-2012. A multiple linear regression model shows that, ceteris paribus, rural municipalities are likely to have more projects approved for European funding because they have high administrative capacity, high levels of social develop- ment, experienced mayors, good collaboration capacity, work with consultants to draft their project proposals, and are located in Romania's North-Eastern region. This study analyzes developments in the child protection system in Romania for the past 30 years. Based on the typologies created at international level, it identifies three key phases of development, mainly regarding deinstitutionalization process, started in 1997. The first phase of deinstitutionalization, up to 2001, caused by limited funds and the need to get quick results, the efforts concerning development of alternative type of care have mainly targeted a cost-efficient approach like placement in the extended family, foster care and adoption. Family type of services registered an extremely rapid and impressive development. Yet, monitoring capacity has not been adequately developed alongside this progressive development. The second phase of reforms (2002-2007) can be considered as an accelerated phase of deinstitutionalization. It has been very well supported by public awareness campaigns, with a consistent funding, that substantially supported the process. In 2004, a new legislative framework has been adopted, making a transition from a system centered around protecting children in difficult situation towards a system envisaging promotion and fullfiiling rights of all children. After 2007, deinstitutionalization process continued to be developed, but at a much slower pace, while only in 2014 a new more accelerated process of deinstitutionalization has been claimed and started since 2016. Based on the key characteristics of the system presented in evolution, the paper concludes with a series of development needs in the field of child protection system in Romania. The paper aims to carry out an external analysis of Romania's proposal to regulate the regulatory framework in the field of milk production and processing, to establish the way of marketing of dairy products, to increase consumer confidence in domestic dairy products, to eliminate falsified products from the market dairy products, to facilitate the identification of authentic products by consumers and, last but not least, to the increase in milk production due to all the measures mentioned. In the last three decades the perceptions of Romanian consumer's food has evolved quickly in response to socioeconomic changes. Because Romania is crossing a transitional phase, both economically and socially, the socio economic status (SES) and the settlement type distribution of population generated particular food consumption patterns. Approximately 45% of Romanian population live in rural areas, most of them being either land owners or growing potential food stuffs around the household. Therefore, the food consumption pattern of the rural population is greatly dependant on the household purchasing power and their own food production capacity. On the other hand, the urban population (approximately 55% of total Romanian population) is strictly dependant on the household purchasing power, which in this case is significantly higher than the rural inhabitants (Gfk, 2016), and on whether they still have relatives living in rural areas and the amount of food they receive from them. The paper analyses the educational policies in Romania for the period 1948-1989. The purpose is to examine the main features that defined the educational system during the communist period, thus providing the background for a better understanding of the strengths and the weaknesses of education during these years. The paper consists of five distinct sections: (i) legislative reforms; (ii) human, material and financial resources; (iii) access and participation; (iv) educational environment; (v) voice of the pupils and students. Whenever data are available, the paper uses a comparative perspective with other communist countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland), particularly regarding the access to and participation in education. Several achievements in the field of education are present in communist Romania: (i) the positive evolution of participation in education, particularly regarding elementary education; (ii) the campaign to eradicate illiteracy was successful, at least in terms of numbers; (iii) vocational education displayed spectacular increases in the communist period; (iv) the number of students enrolled in higher education increased significantly; (v) expansion of support forms to broaden participation, especially in the higher education system. Nevertheless, there are also a series of negative aspects, such as access and participation of particular groups to education - children with disabilities, children from placement centres, pupils, and students of "unhealthy social origin". Background and aims: This paper aims at understanding patient's perspective in coping with diabetes in Romania. The study analyzes whether there are significant differences between health related quality of life (HRQL) of patients with diabetes, based on sociodemographic and disease-related characteristics. Material and methods: The study included 128 patients aged = 18 years, diagnosed with type 1 and 2 diabetes and was conducted in the period of November 2015 - July 2016. The project included two main research instruments - one questionnaire applied face-to-face to each patient and one questionnaire completed by the physicians including health data for each patient who agreed to participate in the study. The set of tested characteristics includes: (i) gender; (ii) place of residence; (iii) education level; (iv) marital status; (v) employment status; (vi) level of personal income; (vii) age; (viii) type of diabetes; (ix) duration of diabetes; (x) household composition (another person with diabetes); (xi) network support and (xii) patient's access to information and communication technology (ICT). Results: The mean age was 54.23±12.76 years, with three quarters of respondents above the age of 40 years and 68% married. More than half of participants have access to internet, either at home or at work. Conclusions: The results indicate that gender, household's composition, place of residence, access to ICT, employment status, type of diabetes, personal income level, the presence of a support network, age and diabetes duration differentiate between reported HRQL indicators. The volcanic zeolites tuffs represents a ecoalternative resource of the future so it is important to know and disseminate information regarding their efficient use in the bio economy. In Romania, there are 4 major areas where there are zeolites, respectively, Transylvania basin, Maramures basin, Prahova Valley and Persani area. Only Rupea mine has a production capacity of 5000 tone monthly, with this capacity would reach zeolites for 100 years. Generally, the Romanian volcanic tuffs have a high content of clinoptilolite, which give them a high value. Although it Romania is plenty of high quality zeolite tuffs, they are not fully exploited because of the inexistence of a policy for promoting their capitalization. In this paper we intend to do a review of the effects of using zeolites in various in various fields of animal husbandry, in order to highlight the positive impact on the bio economy. They were analyzed a series of research conducted in Romania, upon various species of animals in terms of production and animals health, have been performed comparisons with the data from the international literature and were indicate those areas where Romanian future research should focus.
