A partir de los años noventa del siglo pasado, las economías del mundo, entre éstas las latinoameri‑ canas, inician procesos de integración comercial como parte de un modelo de desarrollo económico basado en el aprovechamiento de las economías a escala, los patrones culturales similares, las menores distancias y la complementariedad industrial, entre otros beneficios. Bajo dicho contexto, el presente artículo analiza la intensidad comercial, el desarrollo de ventajas comparativas y la relación con el crecimiento económico derivado del comercio intrarregional, para los países de la Comunidad Andina de Naciones (CAN), conformada por Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador y Perú en el periodo 1990-2010 From the 90 economies of the world, among them the Latin American, began commercial integra¬tion as part of an economic development model based on the exploitation of economies of scale, similar cultural patterns, shorter distances and industrial complementarity, among other benefits. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la posible relación entre comercio, crecimiento y sesgo comercial de los países que hacen parte de la Comunidad Andina de Naciones, CAN, durante el periodo comprendido entre 1990 y 2010. El cálculo del coeficiente de Pearson (r), muestra una correlación o asociación positiva y estadísticamente significativa entre el PIB y las exportaciones intrarregionales para todos los países que integran el bloque. En el caso particular de Bolivia, se resalta el efecto de la integración comercial en sus preferencias comerciales y en la estabilidad del crecimiento, así como el sesgo comercial con Perú The aim of this paper is to analyze the possible relationship trade-economic growth and the commercialbias for the Andean Community of Nations (CAN) countries: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. In particular, we analyze the period from 1990 to 2010. The Pearson coefficient (r) shows a statistically significant and positive correlation or association between the GDP and the intraregional exports for all countries of the block. Particularly, the case of Bolivia highlights the effect of trade integration on its trade preferences and its growth stability besides the commercialbias with Peru and the block

El siguiente artículo estudia la historia económica salteña entre 1850 y 1875. El trabajo estudia las características del comercio regional, la producción agropecuaria y la distribución demográfica a través del análisis del Registro Estadístico de la Provincia de Salta y el Censo Provincial, ambos de 1865. En segundo lugar, estudia la distribución de la tierra en la campaña de la capital a partir del análisis del Catastro Territorial de 1856 y el Catastro Reformado de 1876, con el propósito de identificar las bases materiales que controló la elite económica local. Por último, se presenta una síntesis de la distribución de la tierra en las otras regiones que se conformaron en la provincia, a partir del análisis de los catastros departamentales de 1872., The following paper analyzes cadastres and provincial census taken between 1856 and 1875 to identify the salteño landowning elite. The study begins with the synthesis of the intraregional trade involving the landowning elite of Salta; the study describes the new tax structure created in 1855 to characterize wealthy families of the province. O presente trabalho estima elasticidades de substituição do comércio regional do Brasil considerando 110 produtos e 558 microrregiões. As elasticidades foram estimadas com base no modelo de Armington (1969), adaptado de forma similar à sugestão de Bilgic (2002) quanto à definição das variáveis. Poucos trabalhos foram identificados na literatura que tiveram o objetivo de calcular elasticidades regionais de substituição no comércio. Isso pode estar relacionado ao fato de a geração do banco de dados ser não trivial, no sentido de requerer informações refinadas e bastante numerosas da economia. Os resultados das estimações apresentaram em geral coeficientes com sinais esperados, e as elasticidades variaram que acordo com os tipos de produtos. Produtos relacionados às atividades agrícolas e de extração tendem a apresentar coeficientes menos elásticos que os coeficientes das atividades de serviços. Os produtos industriais mostraram conjuntamente um coeficiente médio igual a -1,775. This study estimates elasticities of regional trade in Brazil considering110 products and558 regions. The elasticities were estimated using the Armington (1969) model, adapted from Bilgic's (2002) suggestion regarding the definition of variables. Few studies were identified in the literature that aimed at estimating elasticities of substitution in regional trade, adding relative importance to this study. This fact may be related to the generation of the database because of the non-triviality in the numerous requirements and specific information of the economy. The estimation results presented, in general, coefficients with expected signs and the elasticities change according to the types of products. Products related to agricultural and mining activities had less elastic coefficients than the coefficients of the service activities. The products related to industrial activities presented jointly an average coefficient equal to -1.775.

Este trabajo analiza por primera vez el contenido factorial del comercio de las regiones españolas con la Unión Europea, usando las tablas Input-Output regionales disponibles. Los resultados indican que las regiones españolas presentan una ventaja comparativa revelada acorde con su abundancia factorial relativa. Con cifras en torno al año 1995, la mayoría de regiones excepto Asturias, Baleares, Canarias, Cataluña, Madrid y País Vasco se revelan abundantes en el factor tierra con respecto a la UE-15. Existe un subconjunto de regiones con distintos niveles de desarrollo que se revelan abundantes en capital físico respecto a la UE-15; por un lado, Cataluña y Madrid; por otro, Aragón, Canarias, Extremadura y Galicia. Sólo tres regiones, Aragón, Navarra y País Vasco, se revelan relativamente abundantes en capital humano frente a la EU-15., This paper investigates the factor content of international trade of the Spanish regions with the EU-15, using the available regional Input-Output Tables around 1995. The results indicate that Spanish regions exhibit a revealed comparative advantage in line with the predictions of the factor proportions theory. All the regions but Asturias, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Catalonia, Madrid y Vasc Country arenet exporters of land. There is a mix of regions that are net exporters of physical capital according to their level of development: Aragón, Canary Islands, Catalonia, Extremadura, Madrid and Galicia. Finally, only three regions, Aragon, Navarra and Vasc Country, are net exporters of human capital.
