This article presents information related to real estate deals in New York. Hartz Mountain Industries Inc., rented the entire 10,300-square-foot 10th floor to private equity firm Crestview Partners. The firm signed a 10-year lease. Hartz represented itself and Newmark represented Crestview in the deal. If space were available, sources say, the asking rent would be $85 a square foot. Real estate broker Robert Greenstone says movie deals in New York are hard to do because theater chains remain skeptical of the city. But it took a comparatively short nine months to negotiate a lease under which Regal Cinemas will open an eight-screen theater at the Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale, Queens.
