Abstract: Approximations for the circumferential magnetic fields at right-angled functions are derived and validated by computing the radiation patterns of a square-loop antenna by means of the finite-difference time-domain (FD-TD) method. Abstract: A method whereby the sidelobe level of the radiation pattern of a horn antenna can be reduced is proposed. The sidelobes are reduced by curving the edges in the aperture of the antenna.
