The strong coupling constants of the π and K mesons with negative parity octet baryons are estimated within the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that all strong coupling constants, similarly to the case for the positive parity baryons, can be described in terms of three invariant functions, where two of them correspond to the well known F and D couplings in the S U ( 3 ) f symmetry, and the third function describes the S U ( 3 ) f symmetry violating effects. We compare our predictions on the strong coupling constants of pseudoscalar mesons of negative parity baryons with those corresponding to the strong coupling constants for the positive parity baryons. The magnetic moment of the Λ → Σ 0 transition between negative parity baryons is calculated in framework of the QCD sum rules approach by using the general form of the interpolating currents. The pollution arising from the positive-to-positive, and positive-to-negative parity baryons is eliminated by constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures. We analyze the semileptonic Bc→Bu *ℓ+ℓ- decay in the framework of the Standard Model. We calculate the Bc to Bu * transition form factors in QCD sum rules. Analytical expressions for the spectral densities and gluon condensates are presented. The branching ratio of the Bc→Bu *ℓ+ℓ- decay is calculated, and it is obtained that this decay can be detectable at forthcoming LHC machines. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light and heavy tensor mesons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. The results are compared with the positive parity counterparts of the corresponding tensor mesons. The results of the analysis show that the magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light mesons are smaller compared to those of the positive parity mesons. Abstract: We calculate the mass and residue of the heavy spin-1/2 baryons containing two heavy b or c quarks in the framework of QCD sum rules. We use the most general form of the interpolating current in its symmetric and anti-symmetric forms with respect to the exchange of heavy quarks, to calculate the two-point correlation functions describing the baryons under consideration. Abstract: The strong coupling constants among members of the heavy spin-3/2 baryons containing single heavy quark with light pseudoscalar mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. Using symmetry arguments, some structure independent relations among different correlation functions are obtained. Abstract: The electric quadrupole and magnetic octupole moments of the light decuplet baryons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. The obtained non-vanishing values for the electric quadrupole and magnetic octupole moments of these baryons show nonspherical charge distribution. The sign of electric quadrupole moment is positive for , , and negative for , which correspond to the prolate and oblate charge distributions, respectively. A comparison of the obtained results with the predictions of non-covariant quark model which shows a good consistency between two approaches is also presented.
