An interview with Nancy Fraser, the author of the article "Reframing Justice in a Globalizing World" published in "New Left Review," is presented. When asked of the role of the political theorist, she answers that she tries to describe something that takes place in the politics and lend some support to something that is emergent. She wonders how such counter-public spheres could play a role under current political situation. She suggests critical theorist to address some political issues.

The author comments on the article "Transnationalizing the Public Sphere," by Nancy Fraser. She says that the article reflects Fraser's illustration of the relevance of empirical studies of social and political structures to the development of normative category of political theory and vice versa. To the author, however, such analysis has also revealed few points. One is that, it must be clear how far the existing media could contribute to post-Westphalian public spheres.
