The article focuses on the decision of Moscow's Tver Court to sentence eight National Bolshevik Party activists to three and a half years for causing a disturbance in the reception office of the president's staff in Russia. The activists were charged with property damage, vandalism, and violent seizure of power of the Russian Criminal Code but were withdrawn and instead filed a new charge, participation in a mass disturbance. The author discusses the highlights of the court proceedings. Party leader Eduard Limonov contends that the trial was a sham to intimidate opposition parties.
