Continuing professional development is a process that must be carried out by each individual nurse in order to maintain and update the development of health services through setting high standards of professional practice. The purpose of this research was to determine the need for ongoing professional development activities which include training, seminars, workshops, and formal education for alumni of the Faculty of Nursing, Riau University. Design was descriptive quantitative. The research sample was 293 respondents taken using purposive sampling technique. The results showed the need for continuous professional development in the first priority is training (34.8%) with the type of training needed is emergency nursing training or BTCLS (19.8%), and the second highest priority is formal education (25.3%), who continued S2 if given the opportunity (89.4%) of respondents with the desired form of specialist programs namely management nursing (20.5%) and (10, 6%) want to continue with S3 if given the opportunity. The conclusion of this research is the need for continuing professional development especially training and education activities is very important for Nursing alumni of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Riau to improve their professionalism.Â

In the implementation of government financial management, audit process is carried out by the inspectorate with the purpose to produce a quality audit. One of the indicators is the inspection report is submitted on time, however in the last 3 years the reports submitted by the Inspectorate of West Java Province have been late. The purpose of study was to determine the influence of ethics, education level, and professional skepticism on audit quality in the Inspectorate of West Java Province. This study conducted with a total 70 auditors with descriptive and verificative research method. Data collection using questionnaires and was analized by multiple linear regression. This study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that ethics, education level, and professional skepticism has an influence on quality audits both partially and simultaneously.

The study aims at identifying the character values that appear in the thematic learning of elementary school. The approach that has been adopted in conducting the research is the quantitative approach. The subjects who had been selected using random cluster sampling were 180 students from the elementary schools located in the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region. The study results show that the instrument that has been administered to identify the character values has a high value of content validity. The components that have been established are namely honest, disciplined, responsible, polite, caring, and self-confident.

Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengukur efektivitas program pengasuhan positif untuk menurunkan tingkat stres pengasuhan dengan meningkatkan efikasi pengasuhan pada ibu bekerja dengan anak usia prasekolah. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan efikasi pengasuhan dapat menurunkan tingkat stres pengasuhan. There is job dissatisfaction that some employees at PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. The Palikanci branch resulted in low work productivity. This study took a sample of 58 employee respondents. The technique of taking using purposive sampling was collected through a questionnaire instrument aimed to determine the effect of compensation, competence, and motivation on work productivity. The analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. It was found that there was a positive and significant influence between the variables of compensation, competence, motivation on work productivity at PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. Palikanci branch either partially or simultaneously. So it is necessary to pay attention to the company so that it can pay more attention to the amount of compensation given and appreciation of employee competence to increase work productivity. Likewise, high motivation must be evaluated to increase work productivity which will help the company achieve its goals.

Restrictions on social activities to online learning processes increase the potential for low body movements or sedentary life in Physical Education Students (PES). The purpose of this study was to determine the level of physical fitness of Tanjungpura University Physical Education students in terms of cardiorespiratory endurance. This study used a survey method. The data collection technique uses tests and measurements with the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) instrument. The sample in this study were 33 male students. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage. The results showed that none of the students had VO2Max at a very good level, there were 12.5% in the good category, and most of the students with a percentage of 62.5% were at a moderate level. While the remaining 18.75% and 9.37% are at the level of less and less. The conclusion of this study is that most Physical Education Students (PES) still have good physical fitness, while some students who are at a low level and very less need to be given motivation and understanding regarding the importance of fitness in sports students.

Covid-19 has become a global pandemic and affects all ages, including children. This service activity is intended to prevent the spread of Covid-19 for madrasah diniyah students. This service was carried out through health education, both lectures and demonstrations. The results of this activity revealed that the habit of proper hand washing can be instilled through the delivery of information about the importance of hand washing, 6 steps of proper hand washing, and the practice of washing hands in groups and independently.

The two stay two stray cooperative learning model basically emphasizes students to work together in groups, and provides opportunities for groups to share the results and information obtained with other groups, so that the learning process will be student-centered. This study aims to achieve optimum student learning activities through the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model in learning the concepts of alpha, beta and gamma rays, and to describe the student's response to the TSTS cooperative learning that has been implemented. The method used is quantitative with the pre-experimental research model type one shot case study. A total of 26 students taking radiochemistry courses were the subjects of this study. Research data were collected through student activity observation sheets during lectures and a student response questionnaire consisting of 10 statements. The results of observations on student activities show that the aspect of explaining in the lecture material, the aspect of cooperation between colleagues, and the activity of answering questions, respectively, have a value of 86, 85 and 90 percent. In general, students' positive responses to the application of the TSTS model were 95%. From the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of TSTS is very effective in increasing student learning activities, making students happy in learning, and fostering self-confidence in learning.

The lack of open communication between parents and children triggers adolescents to engage in deviant behavior, including premarital sex. This activity aims to improve the knowledge and communication skills of BKR members regarding adolescent reproductive health as an effort to reduce the incidence of unwanted pregnancy and early marriage in Padukuhan Mertosanan Kulon, Potorono Village. The interventions provided were in the form of counseling and roleplay as well as discussion of case studies related to adolescent reproductive health. Based on the results of the intervention, knowledge about reproductive health increased, participants were skilled in solving problems in case studies and were able to practice health communication to adolescents. It is very important to carry out regular adolescent reproductive health education activities for BKR members.

Background : Generation Planning is a program developed in the context of preparing and planning family life for adolescents. One of the main focuses in this program is the maturity of marriage age for adolescents. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of adolescents about the Generation Planning program and the attitudes of adolescents in the maturity of the marital age at SMA Negeri 4 Batam. Method : This study used a descriptive research design. The length of the research was 6 months with a population of all students of class X and XI SMA N 4 Batam as many as 737 students, the sampling was systematic random sampling with a sample size of 88 respondents. , Result : as many as 53 respondents (60.2%) and good as many as 35 respondents (39.8%). Frequency distribution of the majority of adolescents' attitudes have positive attitudes as many as 63 respondents (71.6%) and those who have negative attitudes are 25 respondents (28.4%) conclusion : Adolescent knowledge about the Planning Generation program at SMAN 4 Batam is the majority of the knowledge is Less as many as 53 respondents (60%) The attitude of adolescents in the Maturity of the Marriage Age at SMAN 4 Batam is that the majority are positive as many as 63 respondents (71%)

Background: Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic throughout the world including in Indonesia, especially on the island of Java, with the number of cases always increasing, both confirmed cases and death cases. Objective: To find out the knowledge and attitudes of the people of Java Island related to sociodemographic (age, sex, education, and employment status) in efforts to control Covid-19. Methods: Cross-sectional design with a sample of 1,579 selected by simple random sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire assisted by the google form program then the data is analyzed by using the chi-square test. Results: Of the 1,579 respondents who participated, namely the youth category by 57%, female gender by 76%, undergraduate education by 47.1%, and the work status of the student category by 41%. A total of 1008 respondents (64%) have good knowledge and 1251 respondents (79%) have a positive attitude. The results of the chi-square test on the knowledge variable showed that there was a relationship between age (p = 0.023) and education (p = 0.021), while gender (p = 0.359) and work status (p = 0.308) had no relationship. In the attitude variable, the results of the chi-square test showed that the p-value between age (p = 0.927), gender (p = 0.072), education (p = 0.140) and work status (p = 0.119) had no relationship, but the knowledge and attitude turns out that there is a value of p = 0.000

Background: Breastfeeding practice for young mothers could be problematic, especially when supports are absent. Evidence reported that young mothers have risks of experiencing mental health problems and of behavioural problems in their children. Data showed that 36 per 1,000 childbirth occurred among Indonesian female adolescents aged 15-19 during 2018. Nevertheless, the breastfeeding experience of young mothers has not been well studied, particularly in the Indonesian context. Therefore, to develop professional caring and supporting relationships, it is important to address this knowledge gap.Purpose: This study aimed to explore the experiences of breastfeeding practices among Indonesian young mothers.Methods: A qualitative exploratory study was employed, and one-to-one in-depth interviews were conducted on 18 young mothers between May until August 2019. Data analysis was guided by Colaizzi’s thematic approach.Results: Four key themes emerged from the qualitative data, i.e., formal support of breastfeeding, the role of family, partner and peers, culture and judgement, and future aspirations and healthcare. Indonesian young mothers sought formal information on breastfeeding from healthcare providers. However, there was a lack of translation into practices due to lack of supports from partners, cultural beliefs, and parents' interference, which consequently led to the failure of breastfeeding. Indonesian young mothers were suggesting that breastfeeding information should also be provided to their circle of supports, such as partners and close relatives. Conclusion: Indonesian young mothers experienced complex situations through their journey of breastfeeding practices. A tailored maternity health service involving partners, parents, and communities into culture-sensitive programme intervention is needed to provide professional caring, and reliable supportive sources of breastfeeding for young mothers.

Background Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) are a significant contributor to the high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia. At the moment, limited guidelines are available to assist primary care providers in managing HDP cases. A previous review of 16 international HDP guidelines has identified opportunities for improving HDP management in Indonesian primary care, but it has not determined the suitability of the recommendations in practice. This study aims to achieve consensus among the experts regarding the recommendations suitability and to develop HDP pathways in Indonesian primary care. Methods Maternal health experts, including GPs, midwives, nurses, medical specialists and health policy researchers from Indonesia and overseas were recruited for the study. They participated in a consensus development process that applied a mix of quantitative and qualitative questions in three Delphi survey rounds. At the first and second-round survey, the participants were asked to rate their agreement on whether each of 125 statements about HDP and HDP management is appropriate for use in Indonesian primary care settings. The third-round survey presented the drafts of HDP pathways and sought participants’ agreement and further suggestions. The participants’ agreement scores were calculated with a statement needing a minimum of 70% agreement to be included in the HDP pathways. The participants’ responses and suggestions to the free text questions were analysed thematically. Results A total of 52 participants were included, with 48, 45 and 37 of them completing the first, second and third round of the survey respectively. Consensus was reached for 115 of the 125 statements on HDP definition, screening, management and long-term follow-up. Agreement scores for the statements ranged from 70.8–100.0%, and potential implementation barriers of the pathways were identified. Drafts of HDP management pathways were also agreed upon and received suggestions from the participants. Conclusions Most evidence-based management recommendations achieved consensus and were included in the developed HDP management pathways, which can potentially be implemented in Indonesian settings. Further investigations are needed to explore the acceptability and feasibility of the developed HDP pathways in primary care practice.

COVID-19 is the newest type of coronavirus, which gained global attention when an outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China December 2019. Since December, at least 125 countries have a recorded case of COVID-19. As such, global prevention measures have been taken, including quarantines and travel bans (World Health Organization, 2020). This study aims to understand the effects of a global stressor (COVID-19) on individual and relational well-being for individuals in a romantic relationship.

The purpose of this study was to improve the student learning outcomes of grades VIII.1 SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung in learning science subject matter through the application of Discovery learning models. This research used classroom action research with 29 research subjects. The research instruments used were observation sheets and tests. Data of this research were analyzed through descriptive qualitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The result of the study showed that the average evaluation results in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle were 61.03, 75.10 and 83.72 with classical completeness of each cycle was 55, 17%, 72.41% and 89.66%. From the learning outcomes, it indicated that there was an increase in the average value from cycle I to cycle II, cycle II to cycle III which proves student learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of Discovery learning models in the learning of science subject matter can improve student learning outcomes of grades VIII.1 SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung in the academic year 2018/2019.

Onomatopoeia is a product of language and culture. Although almost all languages have an onomatopoeia, they are different in application. Japanese onomatopoeia is more like French onomatopoeia in that it not only imitates the sound that is heard, but also that which the senses do not hear. This research aims to describe the original meaning of Japanese onomatopoeic verbs into a simple one so that they are easily understood by the cross-language community. The method used is the technique of observing and recording data obtained from written media such as textbooks and websites. The findings obtained from this study are that several semantic structures show similarities and differences, namely the differences of intention and desire from state verbs, process verbs and action verbs.

The results BKKBN Center (2018) found that the acceptor inspection afterinstallation of the IUD and some of them do not exercise control on the groundsthere was no suggestion from the officer, did not know and no complaints. Thereason is because the officer did not provide full counseling about the IUD andside effects that may arise after the installation, or due to lack of staff knowledgeabout these devices that cause they do not provide complete and correctinformation. One way to handle it is by counseling. Counseling is an attempt to help resolve conflicts, obstacles and difficulties in meeting our needs, as well as efforts to improve mental health. The purpose of this study was to identify changes in attitude acceptors before and aftercounseling on post-installation re -examination of the IUD. The design of this study was a one group pre test – post test, the population of IUD acceptors in the working area Banjarejo Health Center Madiun City some 54 people with a sample ofsome 47 people. The number of samples that do not meet the criteria of thesample as many as 7 people, so the number of samples that meet the criteria of the sample as many as 40 people. Data were collected with questionnairs measuringinstruments covered by using Likert scale before and after counseling. Results of research prior to counseling 18 acceptors (45%) had a positive attitudeand 22 acceptors (55%) having a negative attitude. After counseling obtained 25acceptors (62,5%) ang 15 acceptors (37,5%) having a negative attitude. Statistical test Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test = 5,513. Because the count Z > Z table(5,513>1,96), so that Ho refused. This means that there is a change in attitudeacceptors before and after counseling on post-installation re -examination of theIUD. Therefore, counseling should be done continuously to increase thepercentage of acceptors who perform post-installation re- visit the IUD.

This study aims to measure the level of consumer preference for organoleptic factors of pindang fish produced from the traditional scavenger business of Dedawang Hamlet, Telukjati Dawang Village, Tambak Sub-district, Bawean Island - Gresik Regency.The research was conducted from July to September 2020 involving 221 respondents from various backgrounds as panelists to assess the level of preference for pindang fish. The test material came from one of the scaling efforts carefully selected by the researcher. The organoleptic test includes 8 (eight) things, namely: taste, deviated odor (indication of deterioration), specific aroma, color, appearance, consistency, packaging aesthetics, and durability. The results showed that the durability factor (score 93.57), product aesthetics (score 90.48), smell (score 86.35), and distinctive aroma (score 81.35) were the main attractions for consumers buying pindang fish. While the appearance (score 53.07), consistency (score 63.51), color (score 65.41), and taste (score 68.17) are things that need to be improved to increase attractiveness to consumers. Health service is a complex social implementation because it engages in services that involve various professional groups. In realizing a healthy paradigm, health services with a family approach are developed. The family approach is an approach that empowers the potential of the family in dealing with family health problems independently by paying attention to physical, biological, social, economic and cultural aspects, especially on the health and well-being of mothers, infants, toddlers, adolescents, PUS, and the elderly. The purpose of this study was to explore the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers. Method: This research was a qualitative research with a case study approach. Semi-structure interview was used to interview 12 informants. Results: Based on the thematic analysis of the results of in-depth interviews and processed with NVIVO 12 Plus, 3 (three) main themes were obtained which were supported by the categories explaining the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers. The first theme is the responses from health workers regarding the implementation and benefits of family centered care in health services for postpartum mothers which are supported by two sub-themes, namely; (a) the form and principles of implementing family centered care by hospitals according to health workers and (b) the benefits of family centered care according to the opinion of health workers. The second theme is the opinions of patients and families about the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers supported by two sub-themes, namely: (a) responses and (b) the benefits of family centered care. The third theme is the obstacles to the implementation of family centered care supported by two sub-themes, namely: (a) internal barriers and (b) external impacts. Conclusions: Overall, the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers had a good response from health workers, the patient and the patient's family.

This research uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. The data collection methods used were observation, interview, and documentation. The author acts as an observer in observation. In this study, researchers conducted data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and verification (drawing conclusions). Background: Psycho-emotional aspects play an important role in both health services and health workers in the emergency department. Smiles are forms of interactions between nurses and patients that are given in providing health services to patients in terms of nonverbal communication. However, high workloads in the emergency unit may hinder nurses from smiling. Purpose: This study aimed to explore the experiences and meanings of nurses’ smiles to patients in the emergency department.Methods: This study employed a qualitative design with a descriptive phenomenological approach. Thirteen participants were recruited through purposive sampling using the inclusion criteria, such as emergency nurses with more than three years of work experience and nurses who had attended training on effective communication. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with semi-structured questions and analyzed using the Colaizzi’s phenomenological approach. Results: The study generated four themes, namely, the importance of smiles in emergency services, the miracle of smiles, the hindrances for emergency nurses to smile, and that smiles and humor in an emergency situation are important for children. Conclusion: The study concluded that nurses’ smiles had a significant benefit on emergency department services as a form of interpersonal relationship, although the practice still needs to be improved. Nurses are expected to be able to apply smiles in communicating with patients and their families in the emergency departments.

Quality human resources determine the future of the nation. Stimulation of growth and development of children from an early age (infancy) is one of the efforts to improve the quality of human resources. Stimulation in infancy can optimize child development because it helps adjust the child's ability and age. Massage is a stimulation of the baby's development through tactile techniques. An important period of children's growth and development can determine the quality of future generations. Basic growth will influence and determine future growth and development. Optimal growth requires more intensive care such as touch and continuous stimulation. One of them is massage. Massage is an effort to fulfill the stimulation needs of children both physically, affectionately, and mentally [1]. Early detection of growth and development abnormalities facilitates the management of stimulation. Based on this, it is necessary to have community service activities aimed at educating developmental stimulation through baby massage. Implementation of education in this activity is carried out through demonstrations, discussions, and questions and answers about the stimulation of child development through baby massage. This activity involves (especially) mothers with 1-year-old babies. Results: The participants were very enthusiastic to participate in this activity. It can be seen from their activeness in discussions and demonstrations. In the demonstration process, the mothers pay attention, follow, and practice baby massage directly to their babies. Mountain climbing is an interesting and challenging activity, but it has high risks. There is a risk of harm that threat the body and safety during mountain climbing. One of the risks that can occur in mountain climbing is hypothermia which should be treated quickly and appropriately otherwise it can be life-threatening. From the results of preliminary studies that have been conducted by researchers at the Mount Prau Basecamp. According to the Gunung Prau Basecamp guard in 2017 there were 4 cases of hypothermia per week, even in 2014 there was 1 case of a climber who died due to hypothermia. This case occurred because of the climber's lack of knowledge of doing first aid to victims who had hypothermia. In this case, the climber's knowledge and attitude about prevention and first aid when experiencing hypothermia are the most important factors.The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between climber's knowledge and hypothermia first aid attitudes on the mountain.The type of this research was quantitative research with the correlation study method and a cross-section approach. The population in this study were all climbers of Mount Prau Wonosobo with a sample of 333 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was consecutive sampling. The data in this study were analyzed using the chi square statistical test.The results of this study were obtained from 333 respondents, 301 respondents (90.4%) had good knowledge and 297 respondents (89.2%) had good attitudes. Statistical analysis showed significant results with a p-value (0.0001) less than 0.05, thus H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which indicated that there was a relationship between the climber's knowledge and hypothermia first aid attitudes on the mountain. In conclusion Knowledge affects a person's attitude towards handling hypothermia. On condition that the knowledge is good, ensuingly the attitude in handling hypothermia will be good.

Adolescence is a dynamic developmental phase in an individual's life. This period is the transition from childhood to adulthood. During this period, there was rapid growth, including reproductive function, which affected the development of changes in physical, mental and social roles. Adolescence is also often called a critical period because, at that time when teenagers do not get the right guidance and information, problems often occur that can affect the future of adolescents. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about reproductive health with reproductive health behaviour of adolescents in grades 11 and 12 at SMA Negeri 4 Medan. In this study using a cross-sectional research design, the research subjects were 11th and 12th-grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Medan. The variables studied were the level of knowledge and attitudes of students. Data analysis using a quantitative approach was used to determine the distribution of the data, using univariable analysis, bivariable with Chi-square The results of the bivariable statistical test showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and adolescent reproductive health behaviour ( ? 2=18.2; p=0.00 RP=1.585; CI 95%=1.19-2.09), and there is a significant relationship between adolescent attitudes and reproductive health behaviour ( ? 2=18.00; p=0.00 RP=1.570; 95% CI=1.19-2.09). knowledge and attitudes of adolescents, with adolescent reproductive health behaviour at SMA Negeri 4 Medan.

The convenience of working for employees is one of the keys to success for the company. If employees feel comfortable, their work productivity will increase and have a positive impact on the company. One factor that can provide comfort to employees is the work environment. The work environment is dividing into a physical work environment and a non-physical work environment. This study aims to determine the comparison of physical and non-physical work environments in PBF X in Yogyakarta. The method used is descriptive-analytic, with a cross-sectional approach and using saturated samples. Primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to all 25 PBF X employees. Data were processed using Microsoft Excel and presented in tables, diagrams, and descriptive (narrative) forms. The results obtained show a comparison of the mean value of the non-physical work environment is 3.0, and the mean value of the physical work environment is 2.8. The highest mean value in the non-physical work environment is about overtime salaries, while in the physical work environment, selecting paint colors at workplaces appropriate. The conclusion obtained that the non-physical work environment is more influential on respondents doing work in PBF X than the physical work environment. The company or PBF X needs to evaluate to create a comfortable physical work environment for employees so that the working atmosphere can increase company productivity

This present study aimed to compare the understanding on kinematic concepts between public and private high school students in terms of the type of questions representation. Therefore, this quantitative and descriptive study applied survey methods in conducting the research. 190 students of private high school and 199 students of public high school were involved as the research subjects. The main instrument in this study was an isomorphic multiple-choice test which was developed into verbal representations, pictures and graphics. Specifically, this research instrument was adapted from Force Motion Concept Evaluation (FMCE) and High School National Exam which had been validated with a reliability number of 0.74. Another key point, descriptive statistical and inferential independent t-test were used as the data analysis. Consequently, the results showed that there were significant differences in conceptual understanding between private and public high schools’ students. The concept understanding in private high school was lower than in public high school, which was evidenced with the average scores of public high school students by 42,68 and private high school students by 22,93. All in all, high school students are more capable in answering questions over verbal representation instead of understanding the concepts with graphical representations.

This longitudinal study aims to seek for solutions concerning the teaching and learning English at the Faculty of Medicine University of Mataram (UNRAM). The first year of the study is emphasized on the outcomes of needs analysis, which encompasses the Present Situation Analysis (PSA), the Target Situation Analysis (TSA), and the Learning Situation Analysis (LSA). Various data were collected form the documents of Standar Kompetensi Dokter Indonesia (SKDI) a.k.a. Competency Standards of Medical Doctors in Indonesia, the Graduates Profile of Faculty of Medicine UNRAM and the documents of student English proficiency levels within the last 5 years. Other sources of data were taken from a number of focused group discussions and in-depth interviews with students, alumni, subject specialists, management of Block, and various techniques. The data were then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. Findings of the study show that the level of English of students at Medical Faculty was still far from being adequate to meet the SKDI. As such, three learning goals were generated from this study, i.e. the short-tem, mid-term, and long-term goals. The study suggests that to bridge the gap, the Faculty of Medicine needs to develop a number of language programs to prepare these students to achieve competencies that meet the standard of Graduate Profile and SKDI.

Choking can result in death if handled inappropriately. The accuracy of handling is based on sufficient knowledge. Lack of knowledge for mothers who have toddlers in handling choking results in mothers under five still wrongly handling choking. To find out the effect of providing education using audio visual (video) to housewives on the knowledge of toddler choking handling, to find out differences in maternal knowledge before and after it is done education using audio visual (video). This study used a pre-experimental design technique with a one group pre-test-post-test design approach. Data collection using a questionnaire and data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average value of knowledge obtained by 69 respondents before being given audio-visual education (video) was 15.06, with a minimum value of 6 to a maximum of 19, and after being given audio-visual education (video) was 18.00, with a minimum value. 12 maximum 21. The results of bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained p value 0.000. In conclusion, there is an effect of providing education using audio visual (video) to housewives on the knowledge of choking handling for toddlers in Pajerukan. Culture shock aspect is such a common issue that is experienced among students who studyabroad. The causes of culture shock aspect usually are anxiety and the lack of interculturalcommunication competence. Most of studies in the previous study tend to discuss the importanceof intercultural communication competence and only describe the kinds of culture shock. Thus,to fill this empirical void, this study aims to investigate Thai student teachers’ experiences ofintercultural communication competence and how they handle their culture shock during study inIndonesia. In order to understand more about culture shock aspects, we used culture shock andaxiety theory by Oberg (1960) and Dörnyei (2005). The study is employed qualitative method.Participants in this research were two Thai student teachers who have lived for more or less 4years in one of Islamic universities in Yogyakarta., They are from different batch and major. Thedata were obtained by in-depth interview. We analyzed the data by using thematic analysismethod by Braun & Clarke (2006). The finding showed that all participants experienced theculture shock symptoms stages, such as tension of adaptation, sense of loss and rejection fromenvironment, rejected by new culture, unpredictable anxiety, and feeling of helplessness at thefirst time they studied in Indonesia. There was also an interesting finding that both of them hadthe lack of intercultural communication competence, and also the anxiety leads them to survivein Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to see how much difference the impact of the two teaching styles, flexibility on learning kayang. The sample was students of SMP 6 Pontianak City, totaling 48 students, which were divided into 4 groups, with details consisting of 12 students per group. Quantitative method which has the form of Experiment with FACTORIAL design by level 2 x 2 is a research method. Two-way analysis of variance is a way of analyzing in this study, followed by a normality test and a homegeneity test. After that, the Tukey test was continued with a significance level of ? = 0.05. This research has succeeded in answering several hypotheses that have been proposed. The first is the Inclusive Teaching Style (GMI) has a significant effect compared to the Exercise Teaching Style (GML) on kayang learning outcomes. The second is that GMI and GML have a strong interaction with the rich learning outcomes. The third is that GMI is more appropriate to be applied than GML for students who have high flexibility in the learning outcomes of kayang. The fourth is that GML is more appropriately applied compared to GMI in students who have low flexibility in the learning outcomes of kayang.

Background and aim: Adolescent suicide has become a central issue around the world, including in Malaysia, which needs attention. The current study investigated the mediating effect of coping strategy in the association between family functioning and suicidal ideation among adolescents in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Method: A total of 852 school-attending adolescents aged 13-17 years were recruited by multistage cluster sampling. The relationships between all the study variables were analysed using Pearson's correlation. Moreover, the mediation model was tested using SPSS PROCESS macro, while sex differences in suicidal ideation were examined using independent samples t-test. Results: Results showed that family cohesion, family flexibility, and problem-focused coping negatively correlated with adolescents' suicidal ideation. Problem-focused coping also mediated the association between family flexibility and suicidal ideation. There was a significant difference in suicidal ideation for males and females. Conclusion: Family functioning and coping strategy are related to adolescents' suicidal ideation, while problem-focused coping plays a crucial role in the relationship between family flexibility and suicidal ideation.

This study aims to examine association between the mother-child relationship with the emotional maturity of orphan adolescents, using correlational method. Mother-child relationship was measured by the family relation test which consist of 67 items and emotional maturity was measured by the Singh’ emotional maturity scale which contains 47 items. The target population of the study was poor orphans aged between 15 and 18 years who live in Cileunyi Bandung. The number of sample was 30 people who were selected by cluster random sampling. Multiple regression is used to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that the mother-child relationship is significantly correlated with emotional maturity at moderate levels. Specifically the mother-child relationship is significantly related to the dimensions of emotional instability and lack of independence but not related to the other three dimensions of emotional maturity (emotional regression, social maladjustment, personality disintegration).

The belief in good values that live in the community have an influence on the individual’s behavior. Virtue is one of them. Virtues found to have links with the individual’s character and personality. By using the approach of constructive realism indigenous psychology, this study aims to explore the virtues in the context of Melayu culture. Data collection techniques in this study were open ended questions and multiple responses. Data were analyzed with qualitative and quantitative methods using NVivo. It was found that kindness and loyalty are the core virtues that are considered important in everyday life. In the relationship context, the behaviors target of these values is higher in the community than personal. Virtues was found to be differ according to the demands of the situation. These virtues shifted in problem solving situations, where kindness and empathy are expected to appear less than serenity and resourceful. It is clear that the virtues which embraced by the individual does not always manifest if the situation is not supportive for the emergence of these virtues.

This research has been done to respond the lower range of students’ cognitive ability in group A to recognize shape of geometry in Al Irsyad kindergarten Pemalang. The main question in this research was is there any influence in using the educational games tools on the cognitive ability in geometry of students in kindergarten A? This research aimed to find out is there any influence of Educational Games Tools (APE) on students ‘ability in recognizing the shape of geometry. The subjects of this research are students in group A in Al-Irsyad kindergarten, Pemalang. This research used quantitative approach with the types of pre-experiment and research design one group pre-post test where the researcher observed before and after the treatment.. The researcher chooses the samples with purposive sampling, there are 30 students. This study find out the average of pre-test score 1,83 lower than the average of post-test score 3,07. Statistic examined with normality test using one sample kolmogorov smirnov test find out the score 0,200 > α = 0,05, with the normal distributional data. From the Paired T-test program SPSS 24.0 version find out the result score Sig as 0,00 < 0,05 and score -thitung

Principal leadership plays a vital role in school effectiveness through its direct effect on teachers. This study aimed to explore the leadership strategies performed by school principals to develop teacher professionalism at elementary schools. The theoretical underpinnings of interpretivism guided this study. It employed in-depth semi-structured interviews and document analysis to collect data. The interviews were conducted with nine elementary school principals in Klaten district, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using the grounded theory data analysis method, specifically the use of constant comparison through open coding. The 'open-coded' data were then analyzed using the analytic induction technique. The results show that the principals employ a wide range of leadership strategies to develop teacher professionalism. The strategies include providing exemplary behavior and attitude, fostering work discipline, motivating teachers, providing educational supervision, and encouraging teachers to participate in continuing professional development programs.

This study aims to describe the form of teacher activity and describe the implementation of the teacher's role in improving the quality of school management. The subjects of this study were the school principal, teachers, and students at SD Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan. Data collection methods using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques using interactive technologies. The data validity used methodological triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that the role of teachers in improving the quality of school management includes the role as a source of learning there is mastery of the material, as a teacher facilitator using the media, as a manager by creating optimal learning conditions, as a demonstrator by giving suitable examples to students, as a guide by recognizing the abilities and potential of students, as a motivator by providing motivation, as an evaluator by providing an evaluation. Every morning, elementary school teachers from Muhammadiyah Boarding School motivate character-building programs. Each class has its target to shape the character of students through daily habituation that did with the teacher.

Adolescence is a transition period with specific needs for growth and development. The reproduction of health education is essential to be given to adolescents because they are susceptible to the risks of reproduction health problems. Giving explanations of health education for adolescents by using media will maximize them in absorbing information since media has become an integral part of adolescents' life. One alternative media that is close and familiar with adolescents is an Android application that can be easily accessed by teenagers who have it through a handphone. The purpose of this study was to know the effectiveness of android based applications at the Central Jakarta Senior High School. The method of this research is a quasi-experimental research with control group design. Sampling by cluster sampling method at SMAN 1 Jakarta as an intervention group and SMAN 5 Jakarta as a control group. Statistical tests using the Paired T-Test, Wilcoxon Test, and Mann Whitney test. The results of the study show what is meant by the knowledge of adolescents with a value of p = 0,000, so Android application can be applied as a media tool about improving the health of adolescents in schools.

stunting is one of the targets of sustainable development goals (SDGs) included in the second sustainable development goal of eliminating hunger and all forms of malnutrition by 2030 and achieving food security. Indonesia is included in the third country with the highest stunting prevalence in the south-east Asia region (sear). One of the regions in java where there are stunting cases is in Yogyakarta, namely in Bantul Regency. This research aims to determine the perception of young women about stunting prevention through healthy living. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The variable in this study is the perception of young women regarding the prevention of stunting through a healthy lifestyle. This research concluded that some female subjects already understood the definition of stunting but did not yet know the important role of adolescents in the prevention of stunting before pregnancy. This shows that there is no appropriate perception among adolescents regarding the prevention of stunting with a healthy lifestyle since early adolescence. If the adolescent is not repaired, so in the future, there will be more and more expectant mothers who have short body posture and/or lack of chronic energy.

Learning motivation is the trigger in a student’s self which causes, maintains, and directs learning activities to specific target. Motivation plays a very important role in a student’s advancement and development through learning process. The objective of the research was to find out the correlation between students’ perception on learning facilities and their motivation to learn at Midwifery Academy of Doctor Rusdi Foundation, in 2014. The research was an analytic survey. The samples were 72 students as respondents, using total population technique. The result of the research, using chi square test at the reliability level of 95%, showed that p-value (0.000) < α -0.05 which indficated that there was the correlation between students’ perception on learning facilities and their motivation to learn at Midwifery Academy of Doctor Rusdi Foundation, Medan, in 2014. Conclusion of the research was that there was the correlation between students’ perception on learning facilities and their motivation to learn at Midwifery Academy of Doctor Rusdi Foundation, Medan. It is recommended that the management of Midwifery Academy of Doctor Rusdi Foundation, Medan, provide complete teaching facilities so that students’ motivation will increase, which will eventually influences their learning performance because good learning performance indicates their achieving competence.

This research is aims to improve learning outcomes in Islamic Relegious Education subject by using Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive-analytic approach. The results of this study indicate that; (1) Implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL): The first stage is designing learning which includes studying the syllabus, identifying learning materials, determining learning objectives, determining learning strategies and learning methods, determining learning media and resources, and preparing learning instruments. The second stage is the implementation of learning based on plans that have been made previously. The learning runs smoothly with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) steps, which are fundamental questions, compiling a project plan, compiling a schedule, monitoring, testing results, and ending the evaluation of experiences. (2) The results of the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) are to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education, increase student enthusiasm in learning, increase student interest in learning, train students to think critically, be active, responsible, dare to express opinions, and students can respect the opinions of others. Students are trained to be confident and polite towards older people or adults, besides that students are trained to contextualize the knowledge they have. (3) the obstacle faced is the lack of student activity, because students still seem shy and lack self-confidence.

The idea of Happiness at Work is drawn from psychology and economic studies. It is often considered as a synonym with ‘wellbeing’ and defined as a state characterized by a high level of life satisfaction, a high level of positive emotions, and less negative emotions. This research aims to validate the Happiness at Work scale in the Indonesian context. In this study, the researchers conducted cross-cultural adaptation for the Happiness at Work scale following systematic procedures to produce the Scale of Happiness at Work in the Indonesian language. Afterward, the researchers evaluated the content validity with the help of professional judgment and measured the Content Validity Index at the item level and the scale level. Further, to examine the psychometric properties of the Happiness at Work scale, the researchers administer the questionnaire to a sample of 105 (35 male and 70 female) lecturers to conduct exploratory factor analysis to formulate the new dimensionality of the Happiness at Work scale. The results of Exploratory Factor Analysis indicated that Happiness at Work in the Indonesian context could be measured using four dimensions. To confirm that the extracted dimensions measure a single construct, the researchers administered the produced version to a sample of 370 (147 male and 223 female). Afterward, researchers conducted confirmatory factor analysis to evaluate the validity and reliability of the measurement model. This research found out that the Indonesian version of Happiness at Work measurement is reliable and valid. Thus, this study may contribute to the happiness at work literature of non-western context. In conclusion, the Indonesian-Happiness at Work scale shows robust psychometric properties that can be used for further research.
