Covid-19 pandemic could increase forms of malnutrition such as overweight and micronutrient deficiencies. Fruits and vegetables are the best sources of vitamins and minerals. The content of vitamins and minerals can act as antioxidant compounds. The method used in this service activity consists of the planning stage, the implementation of the activity, and ends with an evaluation as a measure of the level of success. Health education is carried out by means of lectures and question and answer sessions, educational media using leaflets and PowerPoint Presentations. Results: the evaluation shows that the activities have been carried out well in accordance with the results indicators and criteria on the Evaluation Sheet instrument. The sheet is based on five dimensions, namely Punctuality and Duration, Participation, Knowledge, Job Description and Problem Solving. The content of the evaluation is carried out by two independent observers.

Mastering freestyle swimming focuses on increasing the swimming speed in order to complete the swimming distance in the shortest time. Because training for freestyle swimming must be carefully programmed and is progressive-based, this study is set to investigate the effect of small game exercises on freestyle swimming speed among the sport science student of Halu Oleo University. This study uses an experimental method with the one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study consists of 10 students of Halu Oleo University Sport Science Student taken by simple random sampling. The instruments used were equipment for small games and exercises in the techniques of feet, hands, breath and freestyle swimming coordination. Samples of swimming exercises were speed records with a frequency of 3 times a week and carried out for 6 weeks. The results of the normality and homogeneity test data analysis showed a significance value of p > 0.05, which means that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. T-test results showed a significance value of p > 0.05 with a calculated F value of 63.119 and an F table of 5.296, it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of small game training on the freestyle swimming speed for Sport Science Student of Halu Oleo University.

Having skilled employees is not enough to achieve the goals of an organization. What is most important is how to manage qualified employees to demonstrate their performance actively and engage in work and organizations with skills that cover all or even beyond their formal roles and responsibilities. Employees are expected by the organization, not in terms of completing tasks that conform to usual behavior but also behavior that provides performance that exceeds expectations or extra-role behavior. This extra-role behavior is also known as OCB. In this study, three variables can affect OCB, namely organizational culture, employee competence, and motivation as mediating variables. In measuring the relationship between the third variable and OCB, the researcher uses the SmartPLS application. And the results of the study show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on OCB, employee competence has a positive and significant effect on OCB, motivation can mediate the effect of employee competence on OCB but work motivation cannot judge the relationship between organizational culture and OCB.

This study aims to determine the interests of children from the use of picture storybooks assisted by the Microsoft PowerPoint application in the development of receptive language in early childhood with a research focus on the ability to listen to simple stories. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 4, where the answer choices were on each question item. The number of questionnaire items used in this study amounted to 6 questions. The results of this study indicate that there are various responses about the impact of using picture storybooks. First, about the difficulty of applying online storybook media too early childhood, the results are 71.4% relatively easy to use, second, children's interest in listening to stories using the PowerPoint application results in 54% of children being very interested, the three PowerPoint applications being an alternative to PAUD learning today. Getting 38.1% results is quite alternative, the four stimulations of early childhood development can be given through impressions on the PowerPoint screen getting 60.3% results can be stimulated, the five children feel unfamiliar with the technology used to get 66.7% results do not feel foreign Regarding the media used, the six obstacles in learning to use PowerPoint media got results 66.7% answered that they did not experience problems in the implementation of storytelling using the powerpoint application.

The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic impacted various lines in the international world, including Indonesia. Pandemic COVID-19 in Indonesia has also changed multiple performances in multiple sectors, one of which is education. The concept of learning from home changes lecturers' paradigm as educators in tertiary institutions applying online learning. This study aims to identify students' perceptions of the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the type of phenomenology. The subject of this study was 22 students in Indonesia who experienced the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research instrument uses semi-structured interview guidelines. Students perceive online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic as (1) ineffective learning activities;(2) unpleasant learning activities;(3) limit self-actualization in education;(4) helping to become an independent person in learning;and (5) fun learning activities. Higher Education should create innovative and creative online learning strategies. Thus, students have a high enthusiasm for online learning. © 2021 Eurasian Society of Educational Research. Mengkonsumsi kopi sudah menjadi kebiasaan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Indonesia sejak dahulu, seiring dengan itu kebiasaan minum kopi semakin meluas sehingga berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan kedai kopi, dan pertumbuhan tersebut tumbuh subur di kota Malang beberapa tahun ini. Setiap cafe memiliki identitas tersendiri yang berpengaruh terhadap penilaian dan persepsi pelanggan yang mengunjungi cafe tersebut, ketika harapan dari pelanggan dapat tercapai maka pelanggan akan merasakan puas dengan apa yang telah mereka dapatkan dan akan memunculkan penilaian tersendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh customer value terhadap customer loyalty melalu icustomer satisfaction pada Nomaden Coffee. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Dengan Customer Value (X), dan variable Customer Loyalty (Y), sedangkan untuk variable perantarany aadalah Customer Satisfaction (Z). populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pelanggan Nomaden Coffee. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 146 responden. Kemudian uji kelayakan instrument menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif dan analisis jalur (Path). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa customer value memiliki skor baik dengan rata-rata 3,82, loyalitas pelanggan memiliki skor baik dengan rata-rata 3,92, kepuasan pelanggan memiliki skor baik dengan rata-rata 4,16.

Whereas qualitative and ethnographic data suggest that many cultures conceptualize manhood as precarious, quantitative research has yet to demonstrate the cross-cultural consistency of precarious manhood beliefs. Here, we examined the psychometric isomorphism, or measurement invariance, of a brief precarious manhood beliefs scale (the PMB). Using data from university samples in 62 countries across 13 world regions (N=33,417), we examined: (1) the isomorphism of the PMB across individual and country levels; (2) the PMB’s distinctness from, and associations with, other cross-culturally validated gender ideologies (e.g., ambivalent sexism and ambivalence toward men; Glick & Fiske, 1996, 1999); and (3) associations of the PMB with country-level indices of gender equality (the GGGI; World Economic Forum, 2019) and human development (the HDI; United Nations Development Programme, 2019). The Law of the Republic of Indonesia, article 5, paragraphs 1 and 2 concerning the education system, states that every citizen has the same right to obtain a good quality education. Citizens who have physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, and social disabilities are entitled to special education, including vision impairment. One of those people with vision impairment skills is their music expertise by maximizing touch and the sense of hearing. This work aims to realize the Landmark Perception concept by applying dynamic repetition by visualizing the repetition of several elements, such as line, shapes, textures, colors, dimensional gradations, shape gradations, and circulation patterns. These work results are the interior designs for the main facilities, including vocal classrooms, guitar classrooms, Violin classrooms, drum classrooms, piano classrooms, concert halls, and some supporting facilities such as cafeterias and libraries. The results of this work can be a reference for interior designers in designing interiors in a contemporary style based on the needs of people with vision impairment.

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on job satisfaction, career development on job satisfaction, and the effect of compensation and career development together on lecturer job satisfaction at private universities. This research uses quantitative methods with a total sample of 98 people spread across private universities in Serang City with B and C accreditation. The analytical tool used in this study uses multiple regression with the SPSS version 24 tool. The results of this study are compensation influences on lecturer job satisfaction, career development influences on lecturer job satisfaction, and compensation and career development together influence lecturer job satisfaction.

Managerial performance may reflect organizational performance. The achievement of organizational goals closely related to managerial performance, but many researchers only look in terms of workforce performance, whereas managerial roles as leaders of organizations have a huge influence in making decisions. A leader also needs emotional intelligence related to how to make the right decisions according to the organization's goals. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on managerial performance directly and indirectly through decision making. The sample in this study amounted to 44 regional device organizations leaders in Bungo Regency. Data analysis method using path analysis. The results of the study note that emotional intelligence and decision making simultaneously affect managerial performance, but partially decision making has a more dominant influence. The indirect effect of emotional intelligence on managerial performance through decision making is greater than the direct influence of emotional intelligence on managerial performance, thus decision making is able to be an intermediary variable for the influence of emotional intelligence on managerial performance. The implication of the study is that if a managerial has good emotional intelligence it will be able to produce the right decision, so that it will have an impact on managerial performance.

Th is study aims to prove how kindness conducted by the group, the definition of violations and the value of doing good , can affect moral credential in the form of the leniency of punishment for corruptors. Sample 319 police s and doctors divided into two segments. This study uses a population-based survey experiment method. Participants divided into moral credential with the narrative noble duty, and non-moral credential with neutral narratives. R esearchers require each participant to provide criminal punishment and social reactions to the vignette of violation cases due to receiving gratification without (study 1) and with group support (study 2 ). Statistical correlation test with Kendall's Tau-b find s that defining the behaviour of gratification influences punishment , t he correlation shown in invisible victim is r τ = .455, p = .000 , and visible victim, r τ = .191, p = .003, but there is no significant relationship between the values of selflessness action and defining the behaviour of gratification as a violation ( r τ = -.006, p = .922) . Through the Mann Whitney U test it was found that t he moral credential and non-moral credential conditions do not affect the provision of informal social reactions to violators , both the perpetrators of gratification with invisible victims ( Mdn = 2 ), U = 2757, p = .523 , and visible victims ( Mdn = 2 ), U = 2778.5, p = .575 , and also in a situation of gratification with group support, the perpetrators of gratification with invisible victims ( Mdn = 2 ), U = 3419, p = .937, and visible victims ( Mdn = 2), U = 2978,5, p = .119.

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Collaborative Problem-Based Learning (CPBL) on students' problem-solving skills. This study used a 2x2 factorial design, in which the selection of experimental and control groups was determined with convenience sampling. The data analysis technique of this research is divided into two types, namely the prerequisite analysis test and hypothesis testing. The findings of this study concluded that students who studied with CPBL had significantly higher problem-solving skills than students who studied with Direct Instruction (DI). In addition, high problem-solving skills were generally owned by students with high initial skills. Meanwhile, the complete the results of the hypothesis test this study also showed a significant interaction between the learning model and initial skills on students' problem-solving skills in internal combustion motor competences. This shows that the selection of the right learning model is needed according to the initial skills of students so that problem-solving skills can be adequately developed. Thus, it is hoped that vocational school students can become graduates who can compete in the world of work.

This study is aimed to analyze advantages of problem based learning and argumentation (PBLA) for vocational school students; and (2) analyze the implementation of PBLA to improve the critical thinking skills of vocational school students. This was library research which used secondary data sources and were collected through scientific articles, books, websites, and other relevant sources. Furthermore, the data were analyzed qualitatively with the Miles and Huberman model, which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. From the results of the literature study, several conclusions can be drawn which include: (1) the implementation of PBLA has the potential to provide benefits both in terms of experience, motivation, innovation, and improvement of 21st Century vocational school student skills; and (2) PBLA supplementation will be very effective in increasing sudents’critical thinking skills if the teacher can direct students to be able to learn actively through various activities such as stating problems, discussing, arguing, concluding solutions, and evaluating.

Self-efficacy and critical thinking represent two vital components for university graduates in the 21st century learning. However, several studies reported that these two important outcome predictors were unsatisfactory. This study aimed at investigating the effects of problem-based learning (PBL) on pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy and critical thinking. A quasi-experimental nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design was utilized. A total of 44 pre-service elementary school teachers (aged 19-22) at a private university in Indonesia were assigned as experimental (n = 22) and control (n = 22) groups. The experimental group learning received PBL, while the control group learning with traditional college instruction. The Self-Efficacy Scale (SES) and the Critical Thinking Questionnaire (CTQ) were administered before and after the intervention in both groups. Independent and paired samples t-tests were employed to analyze the pretests and posttests data. The results indicated that PBL was more effective in increasing self-efficacy and critical thinking of pre-service elementary teachers than traditional teaching. It is suggested that PBL should be used more frequently in science learning to further enhance students’ self-efficacy and critical thinking skills in higher education.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of direct learning models that are supported by learning videos. Class action research refers to Kemmis and McTaggart's designs, which are carried out over two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class X LVE 7 at VHS Dharma Bahari Surabaya. Data were collected using test and observation instruments. Test and observation data were analyzed descriptively based on standardized study completeness criteria. The results of this study found that student learning outcomes consistently increased from the pre-test scores, the value of the first cycle, to the value of the second cycle. Based on the pre-test score data, it is known that there are 16 or 53% of 30 students who reach the complete category. Learning outcomes are then improved in the first cycle, where there are 19 or 63% who reach the complete category. Meanwhile, in cycle II there were 23 or 77% of students who reached the complete category. This increase occurred consistently so that it was concluded that the use of direct learning models supported by learning videos was very effective for the learning of class X LVE 7 students at VHS Dharma Bahari Surabaya.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of justice, culture and love of money on ethical perceptions about tax evasion. As well as gender will strengthen the influence of justice, culture and love of money on ethical perceptions about tax evasion. Design/methodology/approach The primary data were collected and analyzed using a popular component-based model called partial least square (PLS). PLS consists of two sub-models, measurement model or outer model and structural model or inner model. The measurement model shows how real or observable variables are latent variables to be measured. While the structural model shows the level of estimation between latent or construct variables. Findings The statistical analysis showed that neither the coefficient of gender (moderating variable) nor the interaction between gender and the exogenous variable are significant. Solimun (2010) explained that such moderating variable is called homologizer moderation (potential moderation). Homologizer moderation refers to variable that may potentially become a moderating variable influencing relationship between predictor (exogenous) and dependant variable (endogenous). This variable has no interaction with predictors or can be said to be insignificant on the dependent variable. In this study, gender is a potential moderating variable (homologizer moderation). Gender can potentially become a moderating variable influencing relationship between justice, culture and love of money and ethical perception on tax evasion. Gender does not have interaction with justice, culture and love of money or significant influence toward ethical perception on tax evasion. Originality/value There are very few studies on tax evasion from an ethical point of view so this study is not only important but also interesting because it shows that tax evasion is a classic problem taking place in nearly all countries that apply taxation system; cultural difference results in different views on ethical perceptions on tax evasion (Basri, 2015); this study uses the local wisdom of Balinese people, namely, Tri Hita Karana and thus, this study becomes relatively new; justice is one of the non-economic variables of tax compliance behavior (Darmawan, 2012), so that the researcher is interested in conducting further research on the effect of justice toward ethical perception on tax evasion; there are very few studies discussing love of money (Hnisz et al., 2013); therefore, research on the effect of love of money toward ethical perception on tax evasion is of necessity and the findings of previous studies that are inconsistent. The researcher predicted that there are contingency factors that influence the relationship between justice, culture and love of money toward ethical perceptions on tax evasion. As suggested by Baridwan (2012), gender, the moderating variable in this study, refers to masculine and feminine character as a dimension of social culture; this study is carried out in the Tax Service Office (KPP Pratama) of Badung Utara because during the 2015 tax year, KPP Pratama Badung Utara was one of the KPPs in Bali DGT Regional Office which experienced a decline in realization of revenues and a sharp decline in growth.

Addiction to online games can alter sleep patterns, which can put your health at risk. This study aims to determine how the sleep patterns of gaming disorder students. This study uses a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach, involving six participants with a purposive sampling technique and collecting data using interviews and observation. The credibility of data using member check and triangulation method, then using phenomenological analysis. While playing online games, all participants often stayed up late to be exhausted due to lack of sleep, then slept only during the day, felt dizzy, and disturbed concentration. Then all participants did not want to leave the game because they were not satisfied and could not control themselves. All participants experienced game addiction in the high category (100%) and a hobby of playing games. There are disturbances in sleep patterns due to playing online games, such as staying up late. Participants are expected to prioritize physical needs such as sleep rest and limit the hours of playing games to a maximum of two hours a day to reduce the risk of harmful health effects.Keywords: Sleep Pattern Disorder, Gaming Disorder, Student

Online gaming is a self-entertaining activity and can be addictive. Game addiction has a negative impact. This study aimed to determine the health belief model of adolescent game disorders on health impacts. This study used a qualitative phenomenology method. Data obtained through semi-structured interviews. The sample consisted of six participants. The results showed thatall participants felt vulnerable to disease, then overall realized the dangers of playing games such as staying up late, delaying eating, and delaying urinating. Then all participants learn about the benefits of reducing playtime and understand the importance of rest. Overall, all participants had the same obstacles, namely the invitation to make friends, boredom, free time, fun playing games, and not control themselves and the trend of electronic sports. Then an action stimulus was obtained, namely that all participants experienced changes in sleep patterns. All participants were sure and wanted to change their habits and continue to try, but it wasn't easy. Suggestions for participants to maintain health by limiting their playing hours to at least one hour a day to meet their physical needs.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of leader member exchange (LMX), job satisfaction and motivation on educational personnels’ organizational commitment of Jakarta Mercu Buana University. This research used causal analysis with quantitative approach. The population is all educational personnels of Jakarta Mercu Buana University. The sample collection technique used non-probability sampling with convenience sampling. The sample is 186 educational personnels obtained based on Yamane approach formula. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The result showed that leader member exchange (LMX) has positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Job satisfaction has positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Motivation has positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Leader member exchange (LMX), job satisfaction and motivation simultaneously are having significant effect on organizational commitment. Recommendations for Jakarta Mercu Buana University to maintain and enhance leader member exchange (LMX), job satisfaction and employee motivation in order to increase organizational commitment.

This study aims to determine the effect of competence on lecturer job satisfaction, motivation on lecturer job satisfaction, competence on lecturer work commitments, motivation on lecturer work commitments, and job satisfaction on lecturer work commitments at Private Universities in Banten Province. This research uses quantitative methods with a total sample of 330 people. Samples were taken from a lecturer population spread across several private universities in Banten, namely, Serang City, South Tangerang City, Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency, Pandeglang Regency, Lebak Regency, and Cilegon City. The analytical tool used in this study uses SEM with the Smart PLS tool. Phenomenon Students with low academic self-efficacy tend to avoid difficult tasks, because the task is considered a threat to him. Students have low aspirations and commitment in achieving the learning goals they set. When faced with difficult tasks, student is busy thinking about the deficiencies that exist in him, the disturbances he faces, and all the results that can be detrimental. When faced with difficult tasks, students with low self-efficacy will reduce their efforts and tend to give up quickly and slow to fix or regain their self-efficacy when experiencing failure. So we need a technique to reduce these rights, one of which is the application of modeling techniques based on cinema of educational. This study aims to determine the effectiveness modeling techniques based on cinema of educational to improve students' academic self-efficacy. According to the Ministry of Health the number of nurse graduates per year is 46,865 people, the annual national need is 24,825, and the excess production of nurses is 11,067-22,060 per year. The increase in educational institutions has an impact on increasing graduates, nursing students are the generation of nurses, so this situation is very worrying to the nursing profession. The purpose of this study was to study the perceptions of Diploma 3 Nursing students at Bethesda Yakkum Yogyakarta Nursing School about the influence of nurses' workforce escalation. This study uses a Qualitative Design with a Phenomenology approach. The instruments used were human instruments with interview guidelines. The population was 61 Diploma 3 Nursing students in semester VI, samples were taken by purposive sampling of 5 participants. The analysis used is content analysis, and the triangulation technique used is source triangulation. This study shows students know the current condition of nurses, an increase in nurses makes students disappointed with the lecture process that has been undertaken, educational institutions increase so that graduates increase, but absorption is not optimal. This situation will result in unemployed nurses and nurses not working according to the profession. The hope of government students is to open up employment opportunities so nurses can contribute to the country in health development. Although students know about the escalation of nurses, but students are optimistic, confident in their abilities, will be entrepreneurial in health, and knowledge can be beneficial to the surrounding. There is evidence that democracies are under threat around the world while the quest for strong leaders is increasing. Although the causes of these developments are complex and multifaceted, here we focus on one factor: the extent to which citizens express materialist and post-materialist concerns. We explore whether objective higher levels of democracy are differentially associated with materialist and post-materialist concerns and, in turn, whether this is related to the wish for a strong leader. Testing this hypothesis across 27 countries (N = 5,741) demonstrated a direct negative effect of democracies’ development on the wish for a strong leader. Further, multi-level mediation analysis showed that the relation between the Democracy Index and the wish for a strong leader was mediated by materialist concerns. This pattern of results suggests that lower levels of democracy are associated with enhanced concerns about basic needs and this is linked to greater support for strong leaders., info:eu-repo/semantics/published

A great nation is not determined by the natural wealth and technology possessed by a nation, but because of the strong character of the nation. Based on this statement, strengthening character education needs to be implemented to support the strengthening of the character of the nation's next generation. Based on a preliminary study conducted in vocational high schools, it is found that many students have low religious character. This is necessary to remember the importance of religious character as a balance to other characters. The final goal to be realized in this study is to develop an android application innovation to strengthen the religious character of Vocational High School students that can be accepted theoretically and practically so that it can be widely used in educational settings as one of the guidance media that aims to overcome the problem of religious character in student classes. The development model used in this study was adapted from the development research model of Borg & Gall (1983). Currently the research process is in stage 3, namely the initial development of the wrong product design, namely developing a scale instrument for religious character. The scale of religious character consists of 28 statement items whose development is based on the religious dimensions of Glock and Strak (1974), namely dimensional beliefs, dimensions of religious practice, dimensions of appreciation, and dimensions of loss and experience. In this article we will build on the validity and reliability of the statement items on the religious character scale. The validity results obtained were in the form of 24 statement items that were declared valid and the instruments were declared valid for use, as evidenced by the reliability value of 0.971 or in the very high category. Based on the results of the validity and reliability, the scale of religious character can be used to measure the religious character of vocational school students Keyword: religious character, validity, reliability &nbsp, Bangsa yang besar bukan ditentukan oleh besarnya kekayaan alam dan majunya teknologi yang dimiliki oleh suatu bangsa, namun karena kuatnya karakter yang dimiliki oleh bangsa tersebut. Berpijak pada pernyataan ini, maka penguatan pendidikan karakter perlu diterapkan untuk mendukung penguatan karkter generasi penerus bangsa. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di sekolah menengah kejuruan, didapat fakta bahwa masih banyak siswa yang memiliki karakter religius rendah. Hal ini perlu mendapatkan solusi mengingat pentingnya peranan karakter religius sebagai penyeimbang karakter-karakter lainnya. Tujuan akhir yang ingin diwujudkan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan inovasi aplikasi android untuk memperkuat karakter religius siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang dapat diterima secara teoritis dan praktis sehingga dapat digunakan secara luas dalam seting pendidikan sebagai salah media bimbingan yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi krisis karakter religius di kalangan siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diadaptasi dari model penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall (1983). Saat ini proses penelitian berada pada tahap 3 yaitu pengembangan awal draft produk yang salah satunya yaitu mengembangkan instrumen skala karakter religius. Skala karakter religius terdiri atas 28 item pernyataan yang pengembangannya didasarkan pada dimensi religius Glock and Strak (1974) yaitu dimensi keyakinan, dimensi praktek agama, dimensi penghayatan, serta dimensi konsekuensi dan pengalaman. Pada artikel ini akan dibatasi pada hasil validitas dan reliabilitas item pernyataan pada skala karakter religius. Adapun hasil validitas yang didapat berupa 24 item pernyataan yang dinyatakan valid dan instrumen ini dinyatakan reliabel untuk digunakan, dibuktikan dengan nilai reliabilitas 0.971 atau dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil validitas dan reliabilitas tersebut, maka skala karakter religius dapat digunakan untuk mengukur karakter religius siswa sekolah kejuruan. In this research, we show a development process of engagement sub-systems in a blended-learning management system and evaluate the impact of student interaction in the whole system. We develop special sub-systems for engagement purposes via forum, course rating, and class assignment modules. During the system development process, we employ continuous improvement methodology which helps to shorten the software delivery time without disturbing the overall operation. We evaluate the impact of engagement processes in terms of behavioral, emotional and cognitive aspects. Our evaluation results show that by employing the engagement sub-systems we have increased a 0.30 satisfaction point on average (1-5 Likert scale) for 11 evaluation survey questions distributed to 305 students during 2 times evaluation period. Another interesting finding from the surveys is that behavioral (discussion forum and attendance list sub-system) and cognitive (course rating sub-system) aspects have great influences for the students’ activities (class assignment sub-system) which finally has a great impact on their cognitive performances.

The Indonesian students' conceptual understanding of the energy in the carbon transformation processes has yet to been measured. To assess the student conceptual understanding, the instrument developed by Jin and Anderson was adopted. This research was to describe the item analysis using Rasch Model Analysis so could be used to assess the Indonesian students ' conceptual understanding of the energy concept. The instrument was tested to 168 high school students selected purposively in one public high school in Boyolali. The results show that the outfit MNSQ was ranged from 0,4 to 2.35, the outfit ZSTD was ranged from -6.8 to 8.8, the point measure correlation was ranged from 0.35 to 0.74, and the model standard error was ranged from 0.12 to 0.13 for all items, which means all items were valid. Moreover, the alpha Cronbach score was 0.74, item reliability was 0.94, and the person reliability test scored 0.70. Level difficulties show that five of twelve items were easy, and 7 of twelve were difficult. However, the person separation scored at 1.52, which indicated that the instrument has weak distinguishing power. Based on the overall findings, the instrument could be used to assess the Indonesian students'conceptual understanding of the energy concept in the carbon transformation processes.

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of differences in student learning outcomes. They apply case-based learning with students who do not apply case-based learning. The research method used was an experiment with true experimental design research design, pre-test post-test control group. Two groups were observed, namely the control group and the treatment group. Case-based learning for financial accounting courses is applied to accounting students in the accounting study program at the Faculty of Economics, Warmadewa University semester 2018/2019. The sample was obtained by convenience sampling method. The data analysis technique used was the independent sample t-test. The results showed the case-based learning strategy in financial accounting courses was effective in increasing student’s understanding of the teaching and learning process. The student’s perceptions of case-based learning strategies in financial accounting courses indicate most students perceive case-based learning strategies enhance learning and the level of effective acceptance from classes applying the case method.

This study was aimed to examine the auditor's experience as moderating to the effect of investigative abilities and understanding of red flags on fraud detection. There are several factors that affect the detection of fraud is the investigative ability and red flags. But these factors have an inconsistent effect, and it is suspected that this is moderated by the auditor's experience. This research was conducted at the state development audit agency (BPKP) province of Bali in 2019. The number of samples taken was 83 auditors who were willing to participate in this study. The sample in the study was determined by purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. Based on the results of the study it was found that higher investigative abilities make better the detection of fraud. The higher red flags, make better the fraud detection. The higher of auditor's experience, make better the fraud detection. The more experienced of the auditor, can be stronger the effect of investigative abilities on fraud detection. The auditor's experience is not able to moderate the effect of understanding of red flags on fraud detection, with R-square value (R2) of 82.3%.

The purpose of this paper is to study the effectiveness communication of YouTube live streaming (YTL) among the students of English Department at State Islamic University of Maulanan Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia concerning the teaching effectiveness. The sample of the study is 45 students of English Department who took Tourism and Guiding II in the sixth semester 2016/2017 as the elective subject. The researchers adopted exploratory study by distributing questionnaires on the communication effectiveness, learning effectiveness and You–tube Live Streaming implementation. The instrument had 15 items in which each point had five items with a three –point Likert scale. The findings show that the communication effectiveness of YTL was considered good in spite of the absence of the teacher and the noise disturbance, the learning effectiveness was increasing due to the students’ own learning style, comfortable feeling and the repetition of video display. To implement YTL teachers’ digital literacy is highly needed. On the implementation of YouTube –live streaming for teaching it is the responsibility of the school or campus management. The researchers recommends conducting further study on teachers’ digital literacy, and teachers’ made YouTube-live streaming materials.

Parents with mental retardation children experience higher parenting stress than parents with other types of disability. Differences in responses to stressors indicate a level of parenting stress that is influenced by the characteristics of children, family, parents, and the environment. Parenting stress that is not managed and occurs in a long time can cause physical disorders of hypertension. The purpose of this study was to describe the parenting stress and the incidence of hypertension in the parents of children with mental retardation aged 12-15 years. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. The sample of this study was the father and mother of mental retardation students aged 12-15 years of 59 respondents who met the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. The result of this research is most of the hypertension respondent have high parenting stress level of 53,6% in fathers and 64,5% in mothers. Abstrak Orang tua dengan anak retardasi mental cenderung mengalami parenting stress tinggi dibandingkan orang tua dengan anak jenis kecacatan lain. Adanya perbedaan tanggapan terhadap stressor menunjukkan adanya tingkatan parenting stress yang dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik anak, keluarga, orang tua, dan lingkungan. Parenting stress yang tidak dikelola dan tejadi dalam waktu lama terjadi dapat menyebabkan gangguan fisik hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan parenting stress dan kejadian hipertensi pada orang tua yang mengasuh anak retardasi mental usia 12-15 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ayah dan ibu siswa retardasi mental usia 12 – 15 tahun sebesar 59 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar responden hipertensi mengalami tingkat parenting stress tinggi sebesar 53.6 % pada ayah dan 64.5 % pada ibu. In recent decades, gender in language education has been discussed and studied. Textbooks play a critical role in canalizing particular gender ideologies or values. ELT textbooks are no exception. In response to this, this paper reports on a critical discourse study that examines how females and males are represented in the prescribed Indonesian ELT textbook published by the Ministry of National Education. Critical micro-semiotic analysis indicates that the ELT textbook depicts gender bias or stereotypes in which these stereotypes are presented through visual and verbal texts. This finding implies that gendered texts and discourses in the textbook inadequately depict gender equality. The textbooks also showcases stereotyped gender differences. For this reason, language textbook writers and language teachers need to take into account the interplay between gender and language use when designing and using any ELT textbooks.

Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa jarak sosial memiliki peranan penting dalam menjelaskan perilaku donasi. Hal ini didasari pada ide bahwa seseorang akan lebih mau berdonasi pada orang dengan keanggotaan kelompok yang sama. Namun kenyataannya, individu memiliki tingkat kedekatan dengan kategorisasi sosial tertentu. Bisa saja, secara objektif individu memiliki latar belakang keanggotaan kelompok yang sama dengan target donasi. Namun, secara subjektif individu merasa identitas personalnya tidak terlalu dekat dengan kategorisasi sosial tersebut sehingga individu tidak terlalu merasa dekat dengan target donasi dan pada gilirannya tidak meningkatkan kecenderungan donasi. Penelitian ini berupaya memahami lebih jauh pengaruh kedekatan sosial dengan perilaku donasi dengan mempertimbangkan peran identity fusion sebagai moderator. Penelitian eksperimendilakukan pada 110 mahasiswa dengan kriteria mahasiswa aktif S1 Universitas Indonesia dan beragama Islam (M=19,87, SD=1,10). Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 (Jarak sosial: besar vs. kecil) x 2 (identity fusion: kuat vs. lemah) between subject design.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 15,30% varians perilaku berdonasi dapat dijelaskan oleh jarak sosial, F(5,104)= 3.756, p= 0,04), meski jarak sosial tidak memiliki significant unique effect terhadap perilaku berdonasi. Namun, terdapat pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan antara jarak sosial dan identity fusion (b= 0,456, SE= 0,187, 95% CI [0,086, 0,826], t= 2,443, p= 0,016). Secara spesifik, jarak sosial mempengaruhi perilaku berdonasi secara signifikan ketika tingkat identity fusion rendah (b= -0,704, SE= 0,268, 95% CI [-1,235, -0,173], t= -2,631, p= 0,010) tetapi tidak ketika tingkat identity fusion tinggi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kenampakan rupa bumi melalui model pembelajaran Scramble berbantu media kartu bergambar pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri Sumogawe 03 Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang Tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa siswa kelas III SD Negeri Sumogawe 03 Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang yang berjumlah 34 siswa yang terdiri dari 17 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian kondisi awal sebelum diadakan perbaikan pembelajaran siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan hanya 15 siswa ( 46.42 % ) sedangkan 19 siswa ( 53,57% ) belum mencapai ketuntasan dengan nilai rata- rata 61,42. Pada siklus I sudah menerapkan metode pembelajaran scrambe berbantu permainan kartu bergambar hasil belajar meningkat siswa yang mencapai batas ketuntasan 20 siswa ( 64.28 % ) dan yang belum tuntas 14 siswa ( 35,71 % ) dengan nilai rata-rata 63,57 . Pada tahap siklus II dari 34 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan 30 siswa ( 89,28 % ) yang belum tuntas 4 siswa ( 10,71 % ) dan nilai rata-rata KKM mata pelajaran IPA adalah 65. Melihat dari hasil perbaikan siklus I dan siklus II maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini sudah berhasil dan tidak perlu dilanjutkan siklus berikutnya.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran Scramble, kenampakan permukaan bumi, hasil belajar.

Background: The impact of weekly formative assessments on the summative performance of undergraduate medical students is not widely studied. The formative assessment began to be applied in the Undergraduate Medical Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University (Program Studi Kedokteran Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Padjadjaran or PSK FK Unpad) in early 2020. This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between weekly formative and summative assessment in Multidisciplinary Examination (MDE) and Structured Oral Examination (SOE).Methods: This study was conducted using a numerical correlative bivariate analysis with a cross-sectional design. The data used in this study was weekly formative assessment scores, MDE and SOE scores of Reproductive System (RPS) I and II of 138 medical student batch 2017. Results: Rank-Spearman test shows there was no significant correlation between the formative test scores and the MDE RPS I score (p>0.05) and the SOE score (p>0.05). Concentration of learning is an effort to focus the mind or attention to a subject that is being studied and to memorize the Al-quran by setting aside other things that have nothing to do with what is being studied. There are some students who are easy to accept the lessons / memorize al-quran, and otherwise, there are several students too who have difficulty. Ash-Shidiqi Integrated Islamic Junior High School is a school that refers to the education office curriculum and the Indonesian Integrated Islamic School Curriculum with the flagship program Quantum Tahfizh, but in practice many students find it difficult to concentrate on memorizing Al-Qur'an. The results of interviews with students Ash-Shidiqi Integrated Islamic Junior High School, it is difficult to focus on their concentration in memorizing Al-qur'an because the school environment is not conductive, this is beside the according with the observations of researchers that many students are looking for a place to be alone in memorizing Al-qur 'an and sometimes students was found themselves to covering their heads with a bag to concentrate on memorizing. This type of research is quasi experimental (pseudo experiment). This study design had a control group, but it was not selected by randomly. In this study the researchers used two groups, namely the treatment group who were given brain exercise with a frequency of 6 times a week, light intensity, with duration of 1 exercise. The results showed that in the pre-test and post-test intervention groups there was p = 0.008 or p 0.05 that means there is no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results because they are not given brain exercise. Automated Writing Evaluation (AWE) programs have emerged as the latest trend in EFL writing classes. AWE programs act as a supplementary to teacher feedback and offer automated suggestions and corrections to students' linguistic errors such as grammar, vocabulary, or mechanics. As there is a need for better recognition of different AWE brands utilized for different levels of students, this research sheds light on identifying six university students’ views of an AWE program, namely ProWritingAid (PWA). The six students are categorized as having high or low writing achievement. This descriptive study delineates the students’ perceptions qualitatively. A semi-structured interview was used to collect the data. The findings suggest the students’ positive views of PWA because it could make class time more effective; it had useful feedback on grammar, vocabulary choices, and mechanics; and it built students‘ self-confidence over their compositions. In addition, for different reasons, the students engaged differently with PWA to enhance their drafts, e.g. using PWA only for the first drafts or for the first and final drafts. Finally, despite of the students’ constructive views on PWA, there was a risk that students only engaged superficially with the program by hitting the correction directly.

The Science Subjects have an important influence for human life. The research is designed using quasi-experimental approach to the design of a simple 2 x 2 factorial. The research subjects was a university student of Special education . Students were selected in this study amounted to 55 students. The results of this study are: 1) the average value of the learning outcomes of students who are taught Sciences using Problem based learning is higher (at 4,500) of the learning outcomes of students who are taught Sciences using conventional models (at 1,241); 2) the average value of learning outcomes Sciences students have high motivation to learn at 3,250 while those with low motivation to learn at 2,296; 3) the experimental group students with high learn motivation have the best learning outcomes Sciences by 4,692 while the control group students with low learn motivation to learn science have the worst outcomes for 0,429. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions are : 1) Problem based learning model significantly influence learning outcomes, learning outcomes of Sciences subjects experimental group (tought using problem based learning model) is higher than in the control group outcomes study (taught using conventional model or lecture); 2) motivation to learn significantly affect learning outcomes, student learning outcomes Sciences high motivation to learn is better than the student learning outcomes that low motivation to learn; 3) there is no significant interaction between fine distinctions model of learning and fine distinctions motivation performed well in giving influence against student learning outcomes of Science.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh empati emosional terhadap perilaku prososial yang dimoderasi oleh jenis kelamin pada mahasiswa. Empati emosional diartikan sebagai dorongan secara otomatis dan tanpa disadari untuk merespon keadaan emosi orang lain dan perilaku prososial diartikan sebagai tindakan yang dilakukan individu untuk membantu orang lain. Empati secara emosional diinduksi dengan cara memberikan sebuah video yang dapat membuat empati seseorang menjadi meningkat atau bahkan netral. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur empati emosional dengan menggunakan Positive Affect and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) yang dikembangkan oleh Watson, Clark, & Tellegen (1988). Pengukuran perilaku prososial dilakukan dengan cara melihat dari jumlah donasi yang diberikan oleh partisipan. Responden penelitian ini merupakan 126 mahasiswa aktif S1 Universitas Indonesia yang terbagi atas laki-laki dan perempuan, dengan kriteria usia 18-25 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen laboratorium dengan menggunakan desain faktorial 2 (empati: netral vs empati) X 2 (jenis kelamin: laki-laki vs perempuan) between subject design. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang cukup signifikan antara empati emosional terhadap perilaku prososial, namun pengaruh jenis kelamin sebagai moderator terhadap perilaku prososial tidak memiliki efek yang signifikan, namun pada penelitian ini ditemukan variabel lain yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku prososial pada individu. This study was conducted to examine whether emotional empathy could predict prosocial behavior if it’s moderated by gender among college students. Emotional empathy defined as automatically and unconsciously impulse that responds to the emotions of others and prosocial behavior defined as an action that individuals do to help others. Emotional empathy induced with a provided video which can increase someone’s empathy or the contrary neutralized empathy. Emotional empathy were measured by Positive Affect and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS). Prosocial behavior were measured by looking at the amount of donation given by the participants. The respondents of 126 undergraduate student from Universitas Indonesia (18-25 years) participated in this study. This study/research is an laboratory experimental study with 2x2 factorial design, between subject design. The result shown there was a significant affect between emotional empathy with prosocial behavior. However, result shown there were no gender differences as the moderator to prosocial behavior. Study found there is another variable influenced individual prosocial behavior.

This study investigated the students’ and teacher’s perception, as well as, the merits and demerits of implementing ProWritingAid and teacher feedback in class. The design of this study was a survey research directed in an exclusive classroom setting. Based on the data analysis, it was found that both teacher and students perceived the strategy positively as it can help the students detect, learn, and fix their errors through ProWritingAid and revise their content through teacher feedback. It also helped the teacher in saving time and reduce the teacher’s workload.Abstrak: Penelitian ini menyelidiki persepsi siswa dan guru dalam penerapan metode pemberian umpan balik dari ProWritingAid dan guru di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei yang diarahkan pada satu kelas terntentu. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dikumpulkan, ditemukan bahwa baik guru dan siswa memiliki pandangan positif terhadap strategi yang digunakan. Penggunaan strategu dirasakan positif karena dapat membantu siswa mendeteksi, belajar, dan memperbaiki kesalahan mereka melalui ProWritingAid dan memperbaiki isi paragraf mereka melalui umpan balik guru. Strategi ini juga membantu menghemat waktu dan mengurangi beban kerja guru.

Gempa bumi menjadi bencana dengan banyak kerugian di Indonesia selama 10 tahun terakhir. Untuk mengantisipasi dampak yang lebih lanjut perlu adanya kesiapsiagaan bencana. Kesiapsiagaan merupakan elemen penting dan berperan besar dari kegiatan pengendalian resiko bencana. Parameter pertama faktor kritis kesiapsiagaan untuk mengantisipasi bencana alam adalah pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap resiko bencana. Pengetahuan dan sikap ini akan mempengaruhi intensi individu dalam melakukan upaya penanggulangan kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis intensi kesiapsiagaan sumber daya manusia RSUD dr. Mohammad Soewandhie Surabaya dalam menghadapi bencan gempa bumi.Data primer dalam penelitian ini didapat melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada sumber daya manusia RSUD dr. Mohammad Soewandhie Surabaya. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji univariat, bivariat, serta multivariat. Hasil pengujian secara statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara sikap, norma subyektif, dan kontrol perilaku yang dirasa dengan intensi kesiapsiagaan sumber daya manusia RSUD dr. Mohammad Soewandhie Surabaya dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Hasil selanjutnya menunjukkan bahwa variabel dominan yang mempengaruhi intensi kesiapsiagaan adalah kontrol perilaku yang dirasa. Sikap, norma subyektif, serta kontrol perilaku yang kuat dapat mempengaruhi intensi kesiapisagaan sumber daya manusia RSUD dr. Mohammad Soewandhie Surabaya.
