The article "CASA Y CORTE. ÁMBITOS DEL PODER EN LOS REINOS HISPÁNICOS DURANTE LA BAJA EDAD MEDIA (1230-1516)" analyzes power and representation in the house and court during the Late Middle Ages in the Hispanic kingdoms. The coordinators of the book, Francisco de Paula Cañas Gálvez and José Manuel Nieto Soria, along with other researchers, present a collective study that addresses different aspects of the house and court, such as documentary sources, clothing and textiles, music, and the presence of officials in the court. The focus of the book is on political culture and provides a broad and enriching insight into the topic. The text addresses different aspects related to courts in the Middle Ages in Spain, including the organization of the Navarrese hostel and the House of Aragon in Navarre, the influence of the territories in which they are established, the role of Guiomar de Castro in the court of Enrique IV and her political influence, the relationship of the Hieronymites with the Trastámara and their role in the monarchy, and the structure and functioning of the courts of the lords of Marchena, the house of Juan Serrano in Sigüenza, and the house of Alfonso de Fonseca, Archbishop of Seville.
