• More than 3300 experimental values of K-shell fluorescence cross sections (σ K β 1 , 3 , σ K β 2 , 4 , σ K α 1 , σ K α 2 , σ K β 1 , σ K β 2 , σ K β ′ 1 , σ K β ′ 2 , σ K α , σ K β and σ K t o t ) are summarized in 11 tables. • The data encompasses elements with atomic number in the range 16 ≤ Z ≤ 92 by photo-ionization in multiple excitation energy ranging from 5.46 to 661.6 keV. • The experimental values reported in 96 papers by numerous researches were published between 1985 and 2023. • A critical examination of these data was performed. The main purpose of this paper is to collect from various sources over 3300 experimental values of K-shell fluorescence cross sections (σ K β 1 , 3 , σ K β 2 , 4 , σ K α 1 , σ K α 2 , σ K β 1 , σ K β 2 , σ K β ′ 1 , σ K β ′ 2 , σ K α , σ K β and σ K t o t ) of elements with atomic number in the range 16 ≤ Z ≤ 92 by photo-ionization in multiple excitation energy ranging from 5.46 to 661.6 keV, which are presented in a form of 11 tables. The experimental values reported in 96 papers by numerous researches were published between 1985 and 2023. Therefore, by considering in the same tables a calculation of weighted average fluorescence cross section (σ K j) W , with (j = β 1 , 3 , β 2 , 4 , α 1 , α 2 , β 1 , β 2 , β ′ 1 , β ′ 2 , α , β and tot) for each element; a full study of these data is carried out. However, dividing the measured values (σ K j) E x p by the weighted average (σ K j) W , a new weighted means ratio S W = (σ K j) E x p / (σ K j) W are also studied. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
