The article studies the level structure of
27 F by (p,p') reaction and that of27 Ne by neutron knock-out reaction. The experiment was carruied out at the RIKEN Accelerator Facility. The momentum and mass of the reaction products were analyzed using the RIPS fragment separator. It was found that the neutron and proton deformations for28 are smaller than is characteristic of nuclei in the "island of conversion."- Published
