The article presents the findings of a study conducted on small-scale particles found in atmospheric brown clouds (ABC) in Central Asia region. It discusses the classification of particles on the basis of sizes, as nanoparticles and microparticles effectively influence the screening of solar irradiation and scattering of the light in the atmosphere, causing a decrease in visibility and disturbing the climatic balance. It also mentions that the brown shade of ABC is caused by absorption and scattering of the solar irradiance by the anthropogenic black carbon, soot dust, soil particles and nitrogen dioxide.
