Abstract

Resumen del trabajo presentado al Congreso de la Red de Polinomios Ortogonales y Teoría de Aproximación. Pamplona, 28-29 de marzo de 2019 In this talk we expose a survey of Darboux transformations for Jacobi and CMV matrices, relating them with orthogonal polynomials on the real line, orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle and integrable systems, and also highlighting their similarities and di_x001B_erences. We will show the interest of the above mentioned spurious solutions of inverse Darboux for CMV matrices: they are related to Sobolev type inner products.

Abstract

In this paper we will discuss the problem of generation of sequences of orthogonal polynomials with respect to measures supported on the unit circle from a given sequence of orthogonal polynomials using a perturbation of a cubic sieved process. The basic tools are the Szeg $ o\kern -5pt \'{}\kern -1pt\'{} $ forward recurrence relation as well as the fact of the coprimality of orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle and their corresponding reverse polynomials. We also give the connection between the associated orthogonality measures. Finally, some examples of this cubic decomposition are shown. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
