This study aims to report the experience of the academic course of Bachelor of Nursing, Federal University of Campina Grande campus Cuite, along with a team of internal audit. This is a qualitative descriptive and reporting experience, where a group of students accompanied a team of internal auditors when they performed their activities in the municipal hospital of Cuite-PB, Brazil, in the period October and November 2009. The experience of the group with various activities related to auditing practice was valuable for didactic-pedagogic training of students, it is possible to compare the experience witnessed with the audit brought by the theoretical literature. It was also observed that although there is an internal audit team, no auditors from all areas of the health service contemplated by this assessment, as the governing law of professional guidelines. We have also seen that the only type of audit is conducted through the records and all forms, and that some hospital areas are evaluated only by the administrative sector of the institution, having no participation of health professionals. Finally, there is the difficulty in finding references alluding to the issue at hand and the limited sources available had their dates of publications often old, thus making their use impractical.

Our objective was to rescue stories of mothers of children with mental distress, to identify what are the difficulties experienced by them, as well as the relationships experienced while caring for their child. This is an exploratory, descriptive and qualitative research, conducted at a CAPSi in the city of Campina Grande/PB/Brazil. The sample was composed by five mothers of children with mental distress. The material was produced by semi-structured interviews and Thematic Oral History. Results were expressed in four thematic axes: 1) Child’s limitation and isolation; 2) Nullification of “being” a woman, to the permanent “being” a mother; 3) “A lonely fight”: the woman as the main care provider for their children; 4) Difficulties of acceptance by the family and prejudice from society. Difficulties from physiological and social nature were identified. It is necessary to build social support networks, more community care and support to these mothers. Objetivou-se resgatar histórias de mães que têm filhos com sofrimento mental, identificando quais são as dificuldades vivenciadas por elas, bem como as relações experimentadas no cuidado para com o filho. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e qualitativa, realizada no CAPSi no município de Campina Grande/PB/Brasil, com cinco mães de crianças com sofrimento mental. A produção do material ocorreu por meio de entrevista semiestruturada e da História Oral Temática. Os resultados foram expressos em quatro eixos temáticos: 1) As limitações e o isolamento da criança; 2) A anulação do “ser” mulher, para a permanência do “ser” mãe; 3) “Uma luta solitária”: a mulher como principal provedora de cuidados aos filhos; 4) Das dificuldades de aceitação na família ao preconceito da sociedade. Identificaram-se dificuldades de natureza fisiológica e outras de cunho social. Faz-se necessária a construção de redes sociais de apoio, maior acolhimento e amparo pela comunidade à essas mães.

OBJETIVOS: Analisar os aspectos contextuais do fenômeno da comunicação terapêutica entre os enfermeiros e os usuários do sexo masculino homens no âmbito do cuidar. METODO: Trata-se de uma reflexão analítica, desenvolvida a partir de uma análise contextual para compreensão do fenômeno estudado. RESULTADOS: A discussão do fenômeno do estudo pautou-se, portanto, na análise de quatro contextos: imediato, específico, geral e metacontexto, possibilitando assim uma conceituação da comunicação terapêutica, os fatores e crenças que permeiam esta comunicação e, por fim, as perspectivas sociais do enfermeiro e do homem entre o enfermeiro e o homem. CONCLUSÃO: Percebeu-se com essa pesquisa que existe a necessidade da comunicação terapêutica entre o enfermeiro e o usuário do sexo masculino para que a assistência integral possa ocorrer de maneira holística. O enfermeiro com formação técnica e visão holística poderá executar adequadamente a comunicação terapêutica, ampliando a visão do homem como responsável e coautor da sua saúde.&nbsp
