Objective: To describe and analyse the implementaction of nurse demand managment (NDM) among health care providers in Catalonia from 2005 to 2014., Design: Cross sectional survey. Participants All service providers in Catalonia (n=37). Main measurements Interviews with nurse manager of each health care provides about ht barriers and facilitators concerning NDM. Facilitators and barriers were classified into 3 types: (i)health professional (competence, attitudes, motivation for change and individual characteristics); (ii)social context (patients and companions), and (iii)system related factors (organization and structure, economic incentives)., Results: Of the 37 providers, 26 (70.3%) have implemented the Demand Management Nurse (NDM). The main barriers identified are the nurse prescriptin regulation, lack of knowledge and skills of nurses, and the lack of protocols at the start of implantation. Among the facilitators are the specific training of professionals, a higher ratio of nurses to doctors, consensus circuits with all professionals and linking the implementation of NDM to economic incentives., Discussion: NDM is consolidated in Catalonia. Objective: To understand the barriers to implementing nursing research findings into practice, as perceived by the nurses working in Osakidetza and to analyze if the workplace factor and time worked affect the perception of these barriers., Methods: Cross-sectional study. BARRIERS Scale questionnaire was given to a representative sample of 1,572 Basque Health Service nurses, stratified and randomized, according to scope of work and job responsibility (response rate: 43.76%)., Results: According to the research results, the first important barrier was "insufficient time on the job to implement new ideas". Nurses have perceived the organizational factor as the most important barrier in their practice. Nurses in "Special hospital departments" perceived more barriers in the "quality of research" factor than those working in "Primary Care". Years of service showed a slight influence., Conclusions: The nurses stated that external factors related to the organization principally interfered in implementing results into clinical practice. They placed lack of critical reading training second. Working environment and seniority mark differences in the perception of barriers. Objective: To describe nurse attitudes toward depression, using a standardized questionnaire and to evaluate how a training workshop can modify or influence these attitudes., Methods: A prospective study based on the application of the Depression Attitude Questionnaire, before and six months after, participating in a training day on the nursing role in the management of depression in Primary Care. The sample consisted of 40 Primary Care nurses from 10 health centers in the province of Tarragona., Results: Nurses are in a neutral position when considering the management of depressed patients as a difficult task, or to feel comfortable in this task, but there is a high degree of acceptance of the claim that the time spent caring for depressed patients is rewarding. In general, there was little significant difference in the mean scores for the different items of the Depression Attitude Questionnaire, before and six months, after the training intervention., Conclusions: The attitude towards the management of depression in Primary Care and to the role that nurses can play in this task is generally favorable. At present, the severe economic crisis along with the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases is leading to different countries to consider updating their Primary Health Care (PHC) services in order to make them more efficient and reduce health inequalities. To that end, various initiatives are being carried out, such as the provision of Nurse-led services and interventions. The purpose of this article is to present the available knowledge, controversies and opportunities for Nurse-led initiatives in the setting of PHC. Nurse- led interventions or health services in PHC have proven to be equal or more effective than usual care in disease prevention, the routine follow-up of patients with chronic conditions, and first contact care for people with minor illness. However, as there are only a few health economic evaluation studies published their efficiency is still potential. In conclusion, the Nurse-led care could be an innovative organizational initiative with the potential to provide an adequate response to the contemporary health needs of the population, as well as an opportunity for the nursing profession and for PHC and health systems in general., (Copyright © 2015 Elsevier España, S.L.U. Aim: To analyze the perception of nursing professionals of the Madrid Primary Health Care environment in which they practice, as well as its relationship with socio-demographic, work-related and professional factors., Design: Cross-sectional, analytical, observational study., Participants and Context: Questionnaire sent to a total of 475 nurses in Primary Health Care in Madrid (former Health Care Areas 6 and 9), in 2010., Main Measurements: Perception of the practice environment using the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index (PES-NWI) questionnaire, as well as; age; sex; years of professional experience; professional category; Health Care Area; employment status and education level., Results: There was a response rate of 69.7% (331). The raw score for the PES-NWI was: 81.04 [95%CI: 79.18-82.91]. The factor with the highest score was "Support from Managers" (2.9 [95%CI: 2.8-3]) and the lowest "Workforce adequacy" (2.3 [95%CI: 2.2-2.4]). In the regression model (dependent variable: raw score in PES-NWI), adjusted by age, sex, employment status, professional category (coefficient B=6.586), and years worked at the centre (coefficient B=2.139, for a time of 0-2 years; coefficient B=7.482, for 3-10 years; coefficient B=7.867, for over 20 years) remained at p≤0.05., Conclusions: The support provided by nurse managers is the most highly valued factor in this practice environment, while workforce adequacy is perceived as the lowest. Nurses in posts of responsibility and those possessing a higher degree of training perceive their practice environment more favourably. Objetivo: Elaborar y validar un instrumento de consulta de enfermería para personas con pie diabético en la atención primaria de salud, basado en el modelo teórico de las Necesidades Humanas Básicas de Wanda de Aguiar Horta. Método: Estudio metodológico, realizado de octubre de 2022 a junio de 2023, en Montes Claros – Minas Gerais – Brasil, en tres etapas: revisión de alcance para identificación de las características sociodemográficas, clínicas y necesidades psicobiológicas, psicosociales y psicoespirituales; elaboración del instrumento y validación de contenido por expertos. Para el análisis de los datos, se utilizó estadística descriptiva y el Índice de Validez de Contenido igual o superior a 0,80. Resultados: Validación de contenido realizada por 15 expertos. Se evaluaron tres ítems del instrumento, obteniendo un Índice de Validez de Contenido de 0,93 en objetivos, 0,97 en estructura y presentación y 1,00 en relevancia. Conclusión: El instrumento contribuirá a la cualificación de la consulta de enfermería a la persona con pie diabético en la atención primaria de salud.

Objetivo: asociar variables sociodemográficas con la autopercepción de los usuarios de la atención primaria de salud. Método: estudio transversal, con 222 usuarios de los servicios odontológicos de 15 unidades de atención primaria de un municipio de tamaño mediano de Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Se utilizaron cuestionarios con perfil sociodemográfico, la autopercepción y el Primary Care Assessment Tool Brasil salud bucal. Para comparaciones de las puntuaciones pruebas t-Student para grupos independientes y ANOVA (one way) – Post Hoc Sheffé. Resultados: usuarios con menor ingreso familiar (p=0,016) menor escolaridad (p=0,027) y que necesitaban hacer o cambiar la prótesis dental (p=0,020) obtuvieron asociación significativa en el atributo utilización de los servicios. Objetivo: Conocer la percepción de enfermeros que trabajan en el Programa de Salud Escolar sobre la salud mental en niños y jóvenes. Método: Estudio cualitativo, exploratorio y descriptivo realizado entre diciembre de 2022 y febrero de 2023, con enfermeros que trabajan en Estrategias de Salud de la Familia en el municipio de Fronteira Oeste do Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil. Recogida de datos con entrevistas semiestructuradas y Análisis Temático de Minayo. Resultados: El concepto de salud mental estaba vinculado tanto al concepto tradicional como a la clínica ampliada. Los factores de riesgo para la salud mental de los niños y adolescentes destacados fueron los conflictos familiares, los prejuicios, la exposición a la violencia, la influencia digital, el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y la delincuencia. Conclusión: Es necesario promover estrategias de atención, especialmente por parte de los enfermeros, que les permitan tener una visión más crítica de los factores de riesgo y de las demandas de salud mental, de acuerdo con las características específicas de los niños y los jóvenes.

Objetivo: evaluar la presencia y extensión de los atributos esenciales de la Atención Primaria de Salud desde la perspectiva de los usuarios de la Estrategia Salud de la Familia. Método: estudio cuantitativo transversal, con 256 usuarios de 26 unidades de salud de la familia del estado de Santa Catarina, Brasil, realizado entre junio y diciembre de 2021. Se utilizó un cuestionario de caracterización y un Instrumento de Evaluación de Atención Primaria. Se realizó análisis estadístico descriptivo e inferencial. Resultados: los usuarios evaluaron que las unidades tenían un índice por debajo del nivel ideal de presencia y extensión de los atributos esenciales. Pero, los usuarios con un problema de salud evaluaron positivamente el puntaje esencial (p=0,001), el atributo longitudinalidad (p=0,024) y el atributo integralidad (p=0,001). Conclusión: evaluar periódicamente la presencia y extensión de los atributos permite orientar estrategias de fortalecimiento y contribuye a mejorar continuamente la Atención Primaria, en base a indicadores para una gestión de la salud calificada, y considerar la perspectiva de los usuarios marca la diferencia.

Objetivo: analizar la producción científica nacional e internacional sobre la velocidad de la marcha asociada a signos, síntomas y factores clínicos en personas mayores en atención primaria de salud. Método: revisión bibliográfica integradora realizada en cinco fuentes de datos (Virtual Health Library, Embase, Web of Science, Cumulative Index To Nursing And Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) y PubMed) con publicaciones desde enero de 2017 hasta junio de 2023. Introducción: La enfermedad renal crónica avanzada es un importante problema de salud pública, disminuye las expectativas y calidad de vida de quienes lo padecen, afecta gran número de personas y representa una carga para el sistema sanitario. Los enfermeros, en su rol educador, deben realizar acciones de prevención de la enfermedad, resultando interesante conocer sus experiencias en el cuidado de los pacientes renales en Atención Primaria de Salud, siendo aquí donde se hace prevención del avance de la enfermedad. Objetivo: Describir la experiencia vivida por los profesionales de enfermería en el cuidado de pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica en atención primaria de salud. Material y Método: Estudio cualitativo, cuya muestra fue de 10 enfermeros que trabajaban en distintos centros de atención primaria de Copiapó (Chile). Se realizó una entrevista semiestructurada y análisis de datos mediante codificación abierta en el programa Atlas Ti. Resultados: Surgieron 4 categorías: factores relacionados con la calidad de la atención, gestión del cuidado de enfermería, cuidado multidisciplinario y elementos condicionantes para la atención de enfermería. Se evidenciaron importantes limitaciones para el cuidado del paciente renal, falta de tiempo y consultas específicas para seguimiento, formación profesional limitada en el tema y factores socio- económicos del paciente que influyen en el cuidado. Conclusiones: La inclusión de cuidados específicos para el paciente renal en atención primaria y la capacitación del profesional de enfermería, surgen como importantes herramientas para mejorar el cuidado de los pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica avanzada.

Introducción. La incontinencia urinaria (IU) es un síntoma derivado de una disfunción del patrón de eliminación definido como la pérdida de orina de manera involuntaria. En España se estima su prevalencia en un 16%, afectando mayoritariamente a mujeres. El objetivo principal es conocer el abordaje de la IU en las consultas de Enfermería de Atención Primaria en la OSI Araba. Los objetivos secundarios pretenden determinar el nivel de evaluación del área de eliminación, analizar la prevención y actuación precoz ante la IU, examinar el cumplimiento del registro del dominio de eliminación, evaluar el nivel de formación de Enfermería e identificar las dificultades para su abordaje. Metodología. Se realizó un estudio transversal descriptivo en los centros de salud urbanos de la OSI Araba. Resultados. Se analizó el registro de 4728 personas, el 13% de ellas presentaban IU, siendo el 73% mujeres. La valoración completa del área de eliminación se realizó en el 17% de los casos, la intervención adecuada en solo el 4.7% y el registro fue adecuado en el 15% del total. Discusión. El estudio reveló que la IU es el síntoma urinario más común en la población estudiada, sin embargo, la evaluación del área de eliminación es parcial y existe una brecha de género en la valoración, intervención y registro, en detrimento de las mujeres. Más de la mitad de las enfermeras consideran tener una formación "escasa" en este tema y un tercio encuentra difícil abordarlo. La falta de formación es la principal dificultad, seguida de la limitación de tiempo en consulta. ABSTRACT Introduction. The urinary incontinence is a symptom resulting from a dysfunction in the elimination pattern, defined as the involuntary loss of urine. In Spain its prevalence is estimated at 16%, affecting mostly women. The main objective is to investigate how urinary incontinence is addressed in Primary Care Nursing consultations within the Araba Health Service. Secondary objectives include determining the level of assessment in the elimination domain, analyzing prevention and early intervention practices for urinary incontinence, examining the compliance with record-keeping in the elimination domain, assessing the level of training among primary care nursing professionals, and identifying the challenges faced in addressing this issue. Methodology. To address these objectives, a descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in urban healthcare centers within the Araba Health Service. Results. The analysis involved 4,728 individuals, with 13% of them presenting urinary incontinence, of which 73% were women. Complete assessments of the elimination domain were conducted in only 17% of the cases, appropriate interventions were observed in just 4.7% of cases, and adequate record-keeping was found in 15% of the total. Discussion. The study revealed that urinary incontinence is the most common urinary symptom in the studied population; however, the assessment, intervention, and record-keeping related to the elimination domain are limited, with a gender gap disadvantaging women. More than half of the nursing professionals perceive their training in this area as "scarce," and one-third find it challenging to address urinary incontinence. The lack of training and time constraints during consultations were identified as the primary difficulties encountered in addressing this issue.

Objective: To understand the autonomy of nurses regarding their legal regulatory responsibilities in the exercise of nursing practices in Primary Health Care (PHC) in Pará. Methods: Observational study with qualitative cross-sectional design, conducted in three municipalities of the state of Pará. Data collection was carried out from October 2020 to January 2021. The participants were Primary Health Care nurses. Interviews were conducted, with a semi-structured script. A thematic analysis of the contents was performed, with the help of the IRaMuTeq tool. Results: Five thematic categories emerged: 1) Nurses' autonomy in the context of another professional's prescription in PHC; 2) Autonomy for prescription in programs and exams in PHC; 3) Areas of identification of professional autonomy in PHC; 4) Preventive practices in PHC and their difficulties; and 5) Limits of nurses' professional practice in PHC. Conclusion: PHC nurses in Pará have individual nursing practices with different types of autonomy, whose care they put into practice with the support of protocols and technical regulations. Objective: This study analyzed the experiences and nursing practices of PHC nurses in 6 municipalities in Maranhão, during the covid-19 pandemic. Methods: This is a qualitative study, in which 23 professionals linked to the Family Health Strategy participated, interviewed from November to August 2021. The data were exported to the IRaMuTeQ software, extracting association patterns, and from the dendrogram of the classes obtained, the categories were named and explored by thematic analysis. Four categories were identified: Difficulties experienced in providing care; Interruptions and adaptations in the regular offer of shares; Coping with covid-19 and The return of activities and the impacts left by the pandemic. Results: A challenging scenario was observed for nursing practices in the care of patients with and without covid-19, institutional weakness and lack of organization of structure and work processes, with impacts on the life and care of the interviewees. Conclusion: The results demonstrate the need for different investments in PHC, which, although they were pointed out during the pandemic, go beyond this scenario, it need be inserted in the daily work of these professionals. Objective: To analyze the perception of nurses about working conditions in the context of PHC during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional study with a qualitative approach, part of a multicenter study with a national scope. The data presented in this study correspond to those obtained in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in which 45 nurses from primary health care were interviewed from December 2020 to April 2021. After the interviews, the recorded narratives were transcribed and analyzed through the Bardin's Content Analysis. Results: The collective discourse showed that the use of Personal Protective Equipment, the organization and development of new protocols and care flows brought psychic suffering to professionals, both due to inadequate working conditions and the proximity to the suffering of patients and the fear of Contagion. Conclusion: Even with so many difficulties, nurses working in primary health care had to rebuild their practices in order to guarantee, within the limits imposed by the adverse situation, the best possible assistance, showing the strength and resilience of PHC teams in the most diverse contexts. Objective: to understand the care practices of nurses focused on women's health in PHC. Methods: This is cross-sectional research with a quantitative-qualitative approach, carried out with 24 nurses from Primary Health Care in the state of Sergipe. The interviews were conducted from December 2020 to April 2021, using a semi-structured script. The analysis of the quantitative data occurred in a descriptive way, the qualitative one occurred through content analysis according to Bardin. Results: The practices most frequently mentioned by the interviewees were: prenatal nursing consultation; Pap smear and syndromic approach to sexually transmitted infections, clinical examination of the breasts and request for mammography; In family planning, health education was highlighted; In the postpartum period, they commented on the clinical and obstetric evaluation of the woman and the orientations. Conclusion: Nurses act mainly as fundamental agents in the promotion and prevention of women's health, acting in various phases of women's lives and assisting in the maintenance of health and in the prevention of risks and diseases. Objective: to analyze the characteristics of the teams and the practices associated with the monitoring and coordination of care in Pará and to understand how this practice is carried out by the nurse as a member of the team in Primary Health Care. Methods: study of mixed methods. The participants were primary care nurses in Pará. The collection took place between November 2019 and August 2021, through an electronic form and interview. The integrative data analysis was performed by connecting qualitative and quantitative methods. Results: The proportion of nurses who monitor and coordinate users who are using other services was 50% (90/180). There was a significant association (p <0.05) between monitoring and coordination of care and the type of team, workload, regulation of local demands from the perspective of the network, articulation with health professionals from other levels of care, work with professionals from other backgrounds and conducting the expanded clinic/matrix support. The thematic categories "relationship between Primary Health Care and the care network" and "practices of coordination and continuity of horizontal and vertical care" showed convergence with the quantitative data and the thematic category "Practices of coordination of care in the form of work in a team" converges with the quantitative data, but differs in matrix support. Conclusion: Nurses carry out monitoring and coordination of care, but they face difficulties that result in overload and carrying out tasks that are not of the professional category. Objective: To identify nursing practices aimed at women's health care within the scope of Primary Health Care (PHC), characterizing them by the way they occur and the place they occupy in the nurses' work process. Methods: This is a descriptive, exploratory and qualitative study. The material consists of 27 interviews with nurses carried out between November 2020 and March 2021. Results: Nursing actions aimed at women's health occupy a representative space in the nurses' routine. The main actions identified are aimed at maternal and child health. Family planning was also identified as a recurrent educational action. Assistance to violence and climacteric were not mentioned. The nurses' autonomy in the area of expertise in focus in this study was highlighted as positive in the work process. Conclusion: The practice of nurses in PHC privileges health in the reproductive cycle of women, especially in the prenatal period. However, referrals are observed in the search for an integral practice, through the inclusion of more humanized actions in the services. There is still a need to expand the focus of women's health care in PHC, and for that it is necessary to strengthen the discussions and studies on these neglected themes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To analyze nurses' perception of autonomy to exercise their practices in the context of primary health care. Methods: A descriptive study with a qualitative approach that analyzed 108 interviews carried out with nurses from the four capitals of the southeastern region of Brazil. The interviews, guided by a semi-structured script, were recorded and transcribed. The data produced were processed and explored with the help of the NVIVO® software. Results: Most of the participants were women, white, lived in the same city where they work, and graduated from private institutions. Two categories were organized: repercussions of autonomy and its consequences for solving users' health needs; and (lack of) knowledge about the regulation of nursing practices: challenges for autonomy. Conclusion: Nurses understand the importance of autonomy for their practices, but they face interference in their daily work, either by management, the structure of services or the need for protocols that guarantee the exercise of their professional activity. Objective: to analyze the individual and collective practices that are associated with the difficulties of nurses who work in Primary Health Care in the North region. Methods: observational of prevalence and analytical. Primary care nurses were included. The collection took place between November 2019 and August 2021, in the seven states of the North, through an electronic form, analyzed by the binomial, chi-square and G tests in the Bioestat program. Results: Among the 626 nurses in the study, 15.7% (98/626) stated that they had difficulty in exercising their practices, regarding the autonomy of their legal normative responsibilities. Amapá had a lower proportion (8.3%; 9/108) of nurses with difficulties in relation to the region. The practices associated with the difficulty were: the non-participation of nurses in the management of supplies (p=0.03), occasional consultations (p=0.03) and never prescribing medication (p=0.02); insufficient resolution in the prenatal consultation (p=0.000), monitoring of child growth and development (p=0.001); family planning (p=0.000); leprosy (p=0.005); tuberculosis (p=0.031); arterial hypertension (p<0.0001); diabetes (p<0.0001). Conclusion: Difficulties regarding the autonomy of legal normative responsibilities are associated with individual and collective practices that are exclusive to nurses and are regulated in public health programs. Objective: To describe the practices of nurses in our society and under circumstances that may contribute to the inclusion of advanced practices. Methods: Descriptive study, with a qualitative approach and cross-sectional design, from the perspective of Karl Marx's dialectical historical materialism theory, structured by using the COREQ instrument. Results: The nurse's field of action in primary health care is diverse, it goes beyond the walls of the office. Often the dynamism of activities translates the effort to obtain the best results through their assistance. And dialectical historical materialism precisely reflects the search for quality care and changes in the work environment, where the interaction of several factors directly contribute to the work and social environment. Conclusion: Brazilian primary health care nurses work in the most diverse territories, therefore, they need to streamline their care to address social needs. In view of these aspects, Brazilian sociodemographic diversity has shown that the scarcity of resources in remote regions is one of the factors that strengthens the inclusion of advanced nursing practices in primary health care in Brazil. Introduction: This study provides unprecedented scientific evidence for the expansion of health literacy as a tool capable of increasing patient safety through effective communication between health care professionals and their patients, especially in primary health care. Objective: To map the evidence available regarding the impact of health literacy on care safety for adult patients in primary health care. Materials and methods: This is a scoping review in line with the Joanna Briggs Institute method, which covers care, techniques, protocols, or health literacy methods used to improve primary health care. The Medline (PubMed), Web of Science, Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Virtual Health Library, Scopus, Cinahl, and Google Scholar databases were used for the gray literature search. Original studies available in full and published until January 2023, in all languages covering the topic, were included. Two reviewers screened them by title and abstract, and three reviewers read the full texts and extracted data from the selected articles presented in flowcharts, tables, and descriptive narratives. Results: A total of 3749 studies were found, of which 23 were selected. From these, the following categories emerged: 'The impact of health literacy on the engagement and health outcomes of primary health care users;' 'Interventions that contribute to health literacy in primary health care;' and 'Evaluation of users' and professionals' perspectives on health literacy.' Conclusions: Health literacy interventions focused on primary care should be encouraged within health care services to promote care, prevent illnesses, and inspire the population's transformation process, with a direct impact on patient safety. Introduction: In Childcare Nursing Consultations, nurses monitor children's growth and development, an essential practice for health promotion and prevention. However, there are weaknesses in their implementation, such as gaps in records and deficits in the preventive assessment of important outcomes in childhood, such as obesity and malnutrition. Objective: To identify nurses' actions in childcare Nursing consultations in the Primary Care network of a municipality in the semi-arid region of northeastern Brazil. Methods: A qualitative and descriptive-exploratory study carried out with 9 nurses working in the Family Health Strategies of Primary Care in a municipality from the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in the inland of the semi-arid region of northeastern Brazil. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews between January and March 2021 and analyzed using Thematic Content Analysis. Results: A total of 5 analysis and discussion categories emerged: welcoming for the bond; anthropometry and physical examination; child development surveillance; health education: caring attitude; and difficulties completing the children's health booklets. Conclusion: It was noticed that nurses are able to carry out a comprehensive assessment of children's health, permeating care through bonding, welcoming and health education. It is evidenced that there are deficiencies in completing the booklets and that the Nursing Process does not follow the expected structure, which may compromise care quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objetivo: Conocer las acciones de atención prestadas por el personal de salud a los usuarios de sustancias psicoactivas en el territorio. Materiales y Métodos: Investigación cualitativa, descriptiva y exploratoria. Fue realizada en dos Estrategias de Salud de la Familia en un municipio de Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a trabajadores de salud y se utilizó el análisis temático de contenido. Resultados: Los datos se organizaron en dos categorías: las acciones en el territorio: ¿el cuidado en libertad? y las fragilidades del territorio. Se observó que los trabajadores enfrentan desafíos para promover el cuidado en libertad de los usuarios, como la fragilidad y el retroceso de las políticas públicas. Consideraciones finales: es importante que los trabajadores resistan los retrocesos y fortalezcan otras estrategias de atención en el territorio, promoviendo la atención en libertad e integral a los usuarios de sustancias psicoactivas.

Objetivo: analizar los temas surgidos de la experiencia de los investigadores al aplicar el instrumento Health Literacy Questionnaire en la atención primaria. Método: informe de experiencia basado en el diario de campo de los investigadores, recogiendo datos de 500 usuarios de Atención Primaria de Salud en el Distrito Federal - Brasil, entre mayo y agosto de 2022. Los registros se analizaron a la luz de la teoría de enfermería de Nola Pender. Resultados: las demandas de atención surgieron como la categoría principal, asociada a una mala calidad de la atención. Se puso de manifiesto la percepción de un sistema sanitario precario, lo que implica un bajo nivel de relevancia percibido por los usuarios en relación con su cooperación para promover cambios en los servicios sanitarios. Consideraciones finales: fue posible comprender el papel del equipo de enfermería a la hora de implicar a los usuarios en sus cuidados, y cómo esto se refleja directamente en la promoción de la salud y la prevención de enfermedades.

Objetivo: Describir y explorar, desde la perspectiva de los gestores y profesionales sanitarios, la atención ofrecida a los adolescentes con obesidad en el ámbito de la Atención Primaria de Salud. Método: Estudio de caso, realizado en un municipio del estado de Ceará-Brasil. Los datos se recogieron en 2022 mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas. Los datos se analizaron mediante el análisis de contenido de Bardin. Resultados: La atención a los adolescentes con obesidad está fragmentada, y cada profesional actúa según su propia decisión, ya que el municipio no utiliza protocolos para subvencionar la práctica asistencial. Se enumeraron las potencialidades asistenciales, siendo la principal el equipo multiprofesional. En cuanto a las dificultades, se destaca la búsqueda del servicio sanitario por parte del adolescente. Conclusión: Es necesario (re)organizar el modelo de atención a los adolescentes con obesidad en el municipio. Además, el estudio pone de manifiesto la necesidad de prestar más atención a la obesidad en la adolescencia y suscita reflexiones sobre la atención prestada a este adolescente.

La incontinencia urinaria se define como “la condición fisiopatológica, relacionada con la pérdida involuntaria de orina desde vejiga". Se estima en 200 millones los adultos que padecen incontinencia urinaria, siendo de dos a cuatro veces más común en mujeres que en hombres. Se considera un problema de salud pública dada su repercusión en la calidad de vida, su prevalencia, su afectación psico-social y su impacto económico. En la prevención y tratamiento de esta afección destacan los ejercicios de fortalecimiento del suelo pélvico. El objetivo es evaluar la efectividad de los talleres de educación para la salud grupal en mujeres, evaluando también la adherencia a los ejercicios de suelo pélvico y la satisfacción con la formación recibida. Se realizó un estudio de intervención antes-después realizado entre noviembre de 2021 a junio de 2022. La muestra de participantes con la que trabajamos fue de 87 mujeres. La mayor parte de las participantes obtuvieron mejora en la incontinencia urinaria y el total de las participantes pudo reconocer su musculatura tras el taller. Se obtuvo una mayor adherencia a los ejercicios en las mujeres en las que había habido mejora de la incontinencia urinaria. La educación para la salud grupal proporcionada por profesionales de Enfermería ha demostrado ser eficaz para aumentar el conocimiento de las participantes sobre incontinencia urinaria y suelo pélvico, además de lograr una mayor adherencia a los ejercicios de Kegel. ABSTRACT Urinary incontinence is defined as "the pathophysiological condition related to the involuntary loss of urine from the bladder". It is estimated that 200 million adults suffer from urinary incontinence, being two to four times more common in women than in men. It is considered a public health problem due to its impact on quality of life, its prevalence, its psychosocial affectation and its economic impact. In the prevention and treatment of this condition, pelvic floor strengthening exercises stand out. The objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of health education workshops in women, also assessing adherence to pelvic floor exercises and satisfaction with the training received. A before-after intervention study conducted from November 2021 to June 2022. The sample of participants we worked with was 86 women. Most of the participants obtained improvement in urinary incontinence and the total number of participants were able to recognize their musculature after the workshop. A greater adherence to the exercises obtained in the women in whom there had been improvement in urinary incontinence. Group health education provided by nursing professionals showed to be effective in increasing participants' knowledge of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor, as well as achieving greater adherence to Kegel exercises.

Objetivo: relacionar el Síndrome de la Fragilidad y la sarcopenia en ancianos con y sin diabetes mellitus tipo 2; e identificar los potenciales factores de riesgo para la fragilidad y sarcopenia. Método: estudio epidemiológico descriptivo realizado en 140 ancianos del municipio de Sinop, Mato Grosso, Brasil. Para evaluar el Síndrome de la Fragilidad se utilizó el fenotipo de fragilidad y para la evaluación de la sarcopenia el cuestionario de evaluación física con medida de la circunferencia de la pantorrilla. Resultados: en lo que se refiere al Síndrome de la Fragilidad se obtuvo un mayor porcentaje para ancianos con diabetes mellitus tipo 2, cuando comparados con aquellos sin la enfermedad (p = 0,00). En relación a la presencia de sarcopenia, los ancianos con y sin diabetes mellitus tipo 2 presentaron valores semejantes, sin significación estadística (p = 0,74). El Síndrome de la Fragilidad presentó asociación con: inactividad física (IC95%: 3,29-56,55); intervalo etario superior a 75 años (IC95%: 3,30-27,82); baja renta familiar (IC95%: 1,80-50,98); y, comorbilidades (IC95%: 4,9-5,4). Entre tanto, la sarcopenia fue asociada a la presencia de la inactividad física (IC95%: 1,26-10,44), al bajo peso/eutrófico (IC95%: 3,32- 26,76) y a la desnutrición/riesgo nutricional (IC95%: 1,30-7,70), en los ancianos con y sin diabetes mellitus tipo 2. Conclusión: los ancianos diabéticos tienen mayor vulnerabilidad para desarrollar el Síndrome de Fragilidad, lo que requiere la adopción de medidas preventivas en la atención primaria a la salud.

Objetivo: analizar el riesgo de exposición al estrés laboral de los profesionales de la Atención Primaria de la Salud durante la pandemia de COVID-19 y la percepción que tienen sobre esa experiencia. Método: estudio de métodos mixtos del tipo explicativo secuencial, con 50 profesionales de la atención primaria. Objetivo: analizar el alcance de los indicadores de desempeño del Programa Previne Brasil de Atención Primaria a la Salud. Método: para ello, se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo, con abordaje cuantitativo, utilizando datos secundarios, referentes a los años 2020 y 2021, en las cinco regiones brasileñas (Norte, Nordeste, Sur, Sudeste y Centro Oeste), disponibles en el Sistema de Información de la Atención Primaria de Salud. Se utilizaron estadísticas descriptivas, frecuencias relativas y medidas de tendencia central y modelación semiparamétrica considerando un intervalo de confianza del 5%. Resultados: hubo evidencia de evolución en las tasas de los indicadores de desempeño en la mayoría de las regiones brasileñas en 2021, en comparación con 2020, sin embargo, las Regiones Norte y Centro Oeste presentaron tasas incipientes o negativas, en comparación con la Región Sudeste. A pesar de la evolución en las tasas de los indicadores, pocos estados lograron alcanzar las metas establecidas por el Ministerio de Salud para las acciones estratégicas de atención prenatal y salud de la mujer, mientras que ningún estado logró la meta en la acción estratégica de enfermedades crónicas. Conclusión: se considera importante acompañar la evolución de los indicadores actuales, previendo su calificación para que puedan evaluar el seguimiento y la atención primaria en salud, así como garantizar la consecución de las metas asegurando la financiación de las acciones de atención primaria.

Objetivo: Analizar la comprensión de las mujeres mayores sobre la violencia en este grupo de edad. Método: Investigación cualitativa realizada entre noviembre de 2021 y enero de 2022 con 40 mujeres mayores de 60 años, atendidas en la Red de Atención Primaria de Salud, en un municipio de tamaño medio del interior del estado de São Paulo - Brasil. Los datos obtenidos fueron analizados a la luz de la Hermenéutica-Dialéctica. Resultados: Se identificaron cinco categorías analíticas: 1. comprensión de la violencia contra las mujeres mayores; 2. factores que desencadenan la violencia contra las mujeres mayores; 3. sugerencias de acciones para prevenir la violencia contra las mujeres mayores; 4. recursos a los que pueden acceder las mujeres mayores víctimas de violencia; 5. disconformidad con la violencia contra las mujeres mayores. Consideraciones Finales: A la luz de la Hermenéutica-Dialéctica, se evidenció una serie de violencias percibidas contra las ancianas en la sociedad, con énfasis en el maltrato físico, la falta de respeto y el abuso financiero.

Objetivo: conocer las prácticas de cuidados prestados por las enfermeras a las personas con tuberculosis en la Estrategia de Salud de la Familia. Método: investigación cualitativa descriptiva realizada con 11 enfermeros de unidades de salud familiar de Rio Grande, RS - Brasil, en el primer semestre de 2021. La invitación se hizo por teléfono y se programó una entrevista en línea. Los datos fueron analizados de acuerdo con el análisis de contenido. Resultados: se evidenciaron tres categorías: Prácticas relacionadas con los cuidados de enfermería: obstáculos y concepciones erróneas, (Rel)Acciones en los cuidados de enfermería al usuario con TB, (Re)Pensamiento sobre las orientaciones dadas al usuario. Las prácticas de cuidados se basaron en el vínculo y en la acogida al usuario. Sin embargo, hubo malentendidos en las orientaciones y obstáculos en el afrontamiento de la enfermedad. Se observó un cambio en la conducta y percepción de la enfermedad ante la pandemia del Covid-19. Conclusión: Las buenas prácticas asistenciales, tanto relacionales como técnicas, se ven atravesadas por dificultades, ya sean internas o externas a la unidad.
