The electroexcitation of the ${\cal N}^*(1440)$ Roper resonance, which defines the first radially excited state of the nucleon, is examined within the soft-wall AdS/QCD model. Such excited Fock states are characterized by the leading three-quark component, which determines the main properties of Roper resonance. The differential configurational entropy (DCE) was used in the nuclear interaction with a gauge vector field for ${\cal N}^*(1440)$ transition. Comparing the main results with the recent data of the CLAS Collaboration at JLab shows a good agreement on the accuracy of the computed data., Comment: 19 pages, 4 figures

The nuclear configurational entropy (NCE) is employed to derive two parameters encoding the Pomeron Regge trajectory and the spectrum of closed strings, which are also related to the glueball mass, precisely matching data of the TOTEM collaboration at the LHC. In the Regge regime of holographic QCD, the (Reggeized) glueball propagator and the gravitational form factor of the proton occupy a relevant spot in AdS/QCD. They are used for deriving the cross-sections for the TeV scale proton-proton scattering process, which are the main ingredient for computing the NCE. In this work, the high energy hadron-hadron scattering is studied in the framework of holographic AdS/QCD models, using the Brower-Polchinski-Strassler-Tan Pomeron exchange kernel and gravitational form factors. We apply the configurational entropy techniques to estimate the slope of the total cross section for the total hadron-hadron cross sections at high energies. A good agreement is derived between our approach and the total cross section for combinations that include the pion-nucleon, nucleon-nucleon, and pion-pion, as well as for any high energy data with inclusion of data from the TOTEM collaboration at the LHC and approximated by the Pomeron exchange. In the case of pion-nucleon and pion-pion scattering, the agreement for the critical points to the differential configurational entropy can be reached within 1.1% even without the involvement of any extra parameters., Comment: 1 figure

We study the net-baryon production at forward rapidities within the Color Glass Condensate paradigm. At high energy regime, the leading baryon production mechanism is shown to change from recombination to independent fragmentation. The nuclear configurational entropy (NCE) constructed upon forward scattering amplitudes, allows to predict the two free parameters that govern the anomalous dimension of the target gluon distribution. The global minimum of the NCE indicates a point of stability in pp/pA/AA collisions at LHC energies, corroborating and matching HERA data for hadron spectra measured in pp and dAu collisions at RHIC energies, with accuracy between 1.2\% and 1.8\%, respectively for the two free parameters., Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures

In this paper the nuclear configurational entropy of the energy--energy correlation function is scrutinized, in $e^+e^-$ collisions to hadrons in the back-to-back region, within the QCD perturbative theory. The critical points of the nuclear configurational entropy concept, in the hot nuclear system, is shown to correspond to the critical angle between the two scattered hadrons, corroborating with phenomenological data with great accuracy. The main tools employ the main coefficients of the soft-gluon resummation formula, taking into account logarithmically enhanced contributions up to next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy., Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure

In the present work the electroproduction for diffractive $\rho$ and $\phi$ mesons by considering AdS/QCD correspondence and Color Glass Condensate (CGC) approximation are studied with respect to the associated dipole cross section, whose parameters are studied and analysed in the framework of the configurational entropy. Our results suggest different quantum states of the nuclear matter, showing that the extremal points of the nuclear configurational entropy is able to reflect a true description of the $\rho$ and $\phi$ mesons production, using current data concerning light quark masses. In this work, we present new experimental data on mass distribution of fission fragments from $^{241}$Am proton-induced fission at $660$ MeV measured at the LNR Phasotron (JINR). The systematic analysis of several measured fragment mass distributions from different fission reactions available in the literature is also presented. The proton-induced fission of $^{241}$Am, $^{237}$Np and $^{238}$U at 26.5, 62.9 and 660 MeV was studied. The proton-induced fission of $^{232}$Th was studied at 26.5, 62.9 and 190 MeV. The fission of $^{208}$Pb also by a proton was investigated at 190, 500 and 1000 MeV. The fission of $^{197}$Au was studied for 190 and 800 MeV protons. Bremsstrahlung reactions with maximum photon energies of 50 and 3500 MeV were studied for $^{232}$Th and $^{238}$U. The framework of the Random Neck Rupture Model was applied in the analysis. The roles of the neutron excess and of the so called fissility parameter were also investigated.

The induced-activity investigations in off-line analysis performed in different experiments, concerning pre-actinide and actinide nuclei, are here presented and discussed. Generalized expressions for the determination of independent yields/cross sections of radioactive nuclei, formed in the targets, are derived and analysed. The fragment mass distribution from U-238, Th-232 and Ta-181 photofission at the bremsstrahlung end-point energies of 50 and 3500 MeV, and from Am-241, U-238 and Np-237 fission induced by 660-MeV protons, are scrutinized from the point of view of the multimodal fission approach. The results of these studies are hence compared with theoretical model calculations using the CRISP code. We subsequently discuss the complex particle-induced reaction, such as heavy-ions and deuterons, by using the thick-target thick-catcher technique and the two-step vector model framework as well. This is accomplished in order to present the investigation of the main processes (fission, spallation and (multi)fragmentation) in intermediate- and high-energy ranges of the incident particle. The set of experimental data, presented in this work, encompasses not merely the data as total production cross sections. Notwithstanding, it further covers other data, as individual yields/cross sections, charge, mass and spin distributions of the reaction fragments, as well as kinematic features. These sources of experimental data can serve as a consistent set of benchmarking data, still necessary for the study of heavy nuclei. Besides, it is also useful for technological applications, from astrophysics and environmental sciences to accelerator technology and accelerator-based nuclear waste transmutation and energy amplification as well., Comment: 29 pages, 19 figures, 3 tables

In this work we present the results for the investigation of intermediate-mass fragment (IMF) production with the proton-induced reaction at 660 MeV on 238U and 237Np target. The data were obtained with the LNR Phasotron U-400M Cyclotron at Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Dubna, Russia. A total of 93 isotopes, in the mass range of 30 < A < 200, were unambiguously identified with high precision. The fragment production cross sections were obtained by means of the induced-activation method in an off-line analysis. Mass-yield distributions were derived from the data and compared with the results of the simulation code CRISP for multimodal fission. A discussion of the super-asymmetric fragment production mechanism is also given., Comment: 20 pages, 2 figure. 2 tables
