Paedogenetic fossil midges of the family Lestremiidae are revealed for the first time. Only eight species of eight gall midge genera belonging to five tribes of the subfamily Micromyinae (Lestremiidae) and two species of two genera of Porricondylinae (Cecidomyiidae: Porricondylinae sp., Holoneurini sp.) have previously been described from the Santonian Taimyr amber of Yantardakh. The new tribe Krassiloviolini trib. nov. differs from other tribes of Lestremiidae in the strong reduction of veins and flagellomeres, slightly differing in length first and second tarsomeres of the middle and hind tarsi, 3-segmented apical plates of the ovipositor, and the presence of paedogenesis. A new genus and species, Krassiloviola geniusloci gen. et sp. nov., is described based on a female that is characterized by the first front tarsomere 1.3 times as long as the second, short 2+7-segmented antennae, presence of stem and large narrow sensoria on flagellomeres, wide wings with strongly reduced vein R5, slightly forked Cu, and absence of fragment C behind the fusion with R5. The presence of two very large specific eggs is evidence of the existence of paedogenesis in the Late Cretaceous. Ganseriella pankowskiorum Fedotova et Perkovsky, gen. et sp. n. has been described from the Late Cretaceous Burmese amber. The new genus is closely related to the genus Chastomera Skuse, 1888 stat. resurr., which was considered a synonym of Haplusia Karsch, 1877. Earlier, only Winnertzia burmitica (Cockerell) (Winnertziini) was described from Burmese amber. The new species is the first described Cretaceous representative of the tribe Diallactiini from Asia. Three species of fossil Diallactiini were described earlier: Cretohaplusia ortunoi Arillo et Nel, Palaeocolpodia eocenica Meunier and Diallactia bifurcata (Fedotova, 2004). Gall midges are reported for the fi rst time in Late Eocene Rovno amber from the Olevsk, Zhitomir Region. Th is is the second amber locality to yield gall midges in the Zhitomir Region, aft er Gulyanka. Rovnoholoneurus gen. n. and two new species, Rovnoholoneurus davidi sp. n. and R. miyae sp. n. are described. Bryocrypta laqueata Fedotova, 2005 is transferred to the genus Rovnoholoneurus, and Rovnoholoneurus laqueatus (Fedotova, 2005), comb. n. is established. Three new genera and six new species of the tribes Brachineurini and Ledomyiini from the Late Eocene Rovno amber are described: Rovnobrachineura kiryeyevi Fedotova et Perkovsky, gen. et sp. n.; Brachineura polessica Fedotova et Perkovsky, sp. n.; Popovineura nacta Fedotova et Perkovsky gen. et sp. n.; Nascensluna mellea Fedotova et Perkovsky, gen. et sp. n.; Rhizomyia parkalovi Fedotova et Perkovsky, sp. n.; Ledomyia olgae Fedotova et Perkovsky, sp. n. Th e new species of genera Brachineura and Rhizomyia are the first extinct representatives of the respective genera. Diagnoses of Ledomyia, Brachineura and Rhizomyia are updated.
