İdrîs’in semâya yükselişlerinin; İdrîs peygamber açısından netîceleri, mârifet-i ilâhiye ve sâlik açısından neler ifâde ettiği üzerinde durmuştur. İbnü’l-Arabî’ye göre Hz. İdrîs, peygamberliği yanında Hak tarafından kendisine öğretilen birçok ilmi ve hikmetleri insanlığa mîrâs bırakan bir “hakîm”(bilge), Allah Teâlâ’nın Güneş feleğine rûh ve bedenle yükselterek, Hz. Muhammed’e vekâleten âlemin hükümdârı yaptığı en büyük “kutub”; ölmemiş fakat bedeni rûhânîleşmiş bir şekilde yaşayarak, Hz. Âdem ile başlayıp Hz. Peygamber ile zirveye ulaşan “hanîf dîni”n devâm etmesinde görevli “kâmil insan”, mârifetullahta (tenzîh açısından) yüce bir mertebeye sâhip “ilk ârif”tir. Yine ona göre “Hz. İdrîs”, bedeniyle yaşamaya devâm ederken, “Hz. ARABĪ Sufi master Muhyiddin b. Arabī deals with the Prophet Enoch, who is the father of the Tradition and is known as “Hermes of the Hermeses”, from the points of his prophetic personality, metaphysics reality, and his heritage left for the Sufis. Ibn Arabī also talks about Enoch’s ascensions to heaven; consequences of these ascensions for the prophet Enoch; and what they mean in respect to Divine knowledge and dervishes. According to Ibn Arabī, in addition to being a prophet, Enoch was also a “hakīm ” or a wise person, who left humanity the knowledge and wisdom taught him by God. God elevated Enoch physically and spiritually to the sphere of sun and made him the greatest Qutb of the universe by proxy to the Prophet Muhammad. He did not die but lived with his spiritualized body. He was the appointed insān al- kamil or the perfect human being for the continuation of the religion of Ḥanīf, which began with Adam and reached its apex with the prophet Muhammad. He was the first Gnostic, who had a high station in respect to Divine knowledge. According to Ibn al-Arabī, the prophet Enoch, who was revived in the body of Elijah while he was still living in the body of Enoch, was an exceptional personality and he is a perfect guide for the Sufis who are in their mystical training to reach the high station of heart.

Sûfiler ibadetleri insanın yaratılış gayesi ve Allah'a karşı tevazunun zirvesi olarak değerlendirirler. İslam'ın inşa edildiği beş esastan biri olan orucu da Allah'ın emirlerine boyun eğmek, O'nun emirlerinden uzaklaştıran her şeyden uzak durmak, nefsin arzu ve isteklerinden uzaklaşıp Allah'tan başka her şeyi terk etmek şeklinde izah eden sûfiler, oruç ibadetiyle başta Allah'ın rızasını elde etmeyi amaçlar. Bununla birlikte oruç, nefsi tezkiye etmeye, ahlâkı güzelleştirmeye ve takvâya ulaşmanın vesilelerinden biridir. İslam'ın inşa edildiği beş esastan biri olan oruç ibadeti, zahirî ve bâtıni manada kişiye takvâ boyutuyla sağlayacağı faydalar göz önünde bulundurulduğunda sadece tan yerinin ağarmasından güneşin batışına kadar aç kalmak ve cimadan uzak durmaktan ibaret olmadığı görülür. Deruni anlamı ve hikmetleri tefekkür edilip yaşanılmadan tutulan bir oruç, ruhsuz bir beden gibidir. Nasıl ki, ruhsuz bir beden canlılık ve neşeden yoksun ise kalbe etki etmeyen oruç da Hz. Peygamber'in buyurduğu gibi "Aç kalmaktan başka bir şey değildir." dolayısıyla kul oruç ibadetini eda ederken, orucun feyiz ve bereketini elde edememe gibi bir olumsuzlukla karşı karşıya kalabilir. Neticede ibadetlerdeki fıkhi kurallara uymak belki kişiyi sorumluluktan kurtarabilir, fakat bu durumdaki kişilerin kaybettikleri kazandıklarından fazladır. Bu nedenle tezimiz telif ettikleri eserler ile rüştlerini ispatlamış ve günümüz tasavvuf erbabına kaynaklık teşkil eden tasavvufi klasik eser sahibi sûfilerin oruç hakkındaki görüşlerini ayrıntılarıyla ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir. Çalışmamız dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, tezimizin önemi, amacı, konusu, yöntemi ve kaynakları ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, oruç ile ilgili kavramsal çerçeve, diğer dinlerde oruç, orucun türleri ve oruç ile ilgili kavramlar ele alınmıştır. Diğer dinlerde oruç başlığı altında Sabiîlik'te, Musevilik'te, Hristiyanlık'ta, Hinduizm'de, Budizm'de, Jainizm'de, Sihizm'de ve Zerdüştîlik'te oruç konularına işaret edilmiştir. Ardından Kur'an ve Sünnet'te oruç konuları işlenmiştir. Devamında ise oruç türleri başlığı altında, farz, vacip, sünnet ve nafile oruçların yanı sıra, oruç tutmanın yasak olduğu günler izâh edilmiştir. Ayrıca oruç ile ilgili müteallıkâtı bulunan Rû'yet-i Hilâl, İmsâk, İftar, Sahur, Mukabele, Teravih, Zekât, Fitre, İtikâf, Kadir Gecesi ve Bayram kavramlarına tasavvufî izahları ile birlikte kısaca değinilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, sûfilere göre oruç ve türleri başlığı altında, sûfilere göre bir ibadet olarak oruç, orucun anlamı, amacı ve öneminden bahsedilmiştir. Aynı bölümde, sûfilere göre orucun adabı, faydaları, sırları, tasavvufi eğitim olarak oruç ve ubûdiyet konularına değinilmiştir. Tasavvufta oruç türleri başlığı altında, kalbî ve bedenî oruç türleri işlenmiştir. Kalbî oruç türleri, kalbin, ruhun, nefsin ve aklın orucu, bedeni oruç türleri ise şehvet, göz, kulak, dil, eller ile ayakların orucu şeklinde tasnif edilerek tasavvufi açıdan izâh edilmeye gayret edilmiştir. Aynı bölümde, sûfilere göre orucun hikmet ve faziletleri bağlamında oruç ve Kur'an, oruç ve Ramazan, oruç ve takvâ, oruç ve tevbe, oruç ve ahlâk, oruç ve infak, oruç, havf-recâ, oruç ve vera', oruç ve zikir, oruç ve şükür, oruç ve tefekkür konuları izah edilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise tasavvufî klasik eser müellifi sûfilerin oruç ile ilgili görüşleri ele alınmıştır. Muhâsibî'nin (ö. 243/857) er-Riâye li Hukûkillâh, Serrâc'ın (ö. 378/988). el-Lüma', Kelâbâzî'nin (ö. 380/990) Kitabü't-tearruf li mezhebi ehli'ttasavvuf, Mekkî'nin (ö. 386 /996) Kûtü'l-kulûb, Hücvîrî'nin (ö. 465/1072) Keşfü'lmahcûb, Kuşeyrî'nin (ö. 465/1072) er-Risâletü'l-Kuşeyriyye, Gazâlî'nin (ö. 520/1126) İhyâu Ulûmi'd-Dîn, Sühreverdî'nin (ö. 632/1234) Avârifü'l-Maârif, İbn Arabî'nin (ö. 638/1240) Füsûsu'l-Hikem ve el-Fütûhâtü'l-Mekkiyye eserleri ile birlikte, Mevlânâ'nın (ö. 672/1273) Mesnevî adlı eseri dahilinde yer alan konumuz ile alakalı görüşlere yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca, Kuşeyrî'nin Letâifü'l İşârât, Kelâbâzî'nin Bahru'lfevâid, Gazâlî'nin El-Munkızû Min ad-Dalâl ve Mişkâtü'l-envâr'ı ile Mevlânâ'nın Divân-ı Kebîr ve Fîhi Mâ-Fîh'inde geçen oruç ile ilgili bilgilere değinilmesi uygun görülmüştür. The subject of our thesis is "Fasting in sufi classıcs" Submission to the commandments of Allah, to stay away from everything that distances from His commandments, the sufis who consider fasting to leave everything other than Allah, away from the desires and desires of the soul and the sum of the purpose of creation and humility, including the fasting. Sûfis aim at obtaining the consent of Allah, worshiping the soul, beautifying morality, reinforcing them, and embracing themselves against everything except Allah. Fasting worship, which is one of the five bases in which Islam was built, is not only about the blindness of the place of the sun, until the sunset, and staying away from relationship with women. Fasting, without its meaning and wisdom, is like a soulless body. Just as a soulless body lacks vitality and joy, the fasting that does not address our inner world is Hz. As the Prophet said, "It is nothing but hungry." Therefore, while the servant is doing fasting, he may face negativity such as not being able to obtain the abundance and abundance of fasting. For this reason, our aim in our thesis is to reveal the views of the first-time sufis about fasting. Our study consists of four chapters, one of which is an introduction. In the first part, the information about the importance, purpose, subject, method and resources of our thesis is given. In the second part, the mystic interpretations of fasting, types of fasting and fasting concepts are covered. Under the title of fasting, fasting in Sabiîlik'te, Fasting in Judaism, fasting in Christianity, fasting in Christianity, fasting in Christianity, Fasting in Sabiîlik, fasting in Judaism, fasting in Christianity, fasting in Hinduism, fasting in Buddhism, fasting in Jainism, fasting in Sikhism, and fasting in Zoroastrianism. After discussing the fasting practices before Islam, fasting and Hadith in the Qur'an were elaborated, and the utmost sensitivity was shown in the selection of verses and hadiths, which are the sources of our religion, related to our subject, from authentic and safe sources. Under the heading of fasting types, after stating the days when fasting is permissible, besides fasting, sunnah and futile fasting, ru'yet-i hilâl, imsak, iftar, sahur, mukâbale, teravih, zakat, fitre, iftar, sûfi explanations of the concepts of compassion, the night of power and eid' are explained in detail. In the third part, under the title of fasting main chapter in Sufism, fasting as worship, the meaning, purpose and importance of fasting are mentioned. Subsequently, according to the sufis, fasting, fasting, fasting, and fasting were taught in Sufism as a result of fasting, benefits, sûfistic education, and fasting types were explained and classified in the body and heart. Under the same main chapter title, the evidences related to the wisdom of fasting in Sufism were evaluated and explained in detail. "al-Lüma'" "Kitabu't-tearruf madhhab ahli't-tasavvuf" of Kalâbâzî, (d. 380/990) "Kûtü'l-kulûb" of Mekkî, (d. 386/996) of Hujvîrî, (d. 465 / 1072) "Keşfü'lmahcub" "ar-Risâletü'l-Kuşeyriyye" of Kuşeyrî, (d. 465/1072) "Ihyâu Ulûmi'd-Dîn" of Ghazali, (d. 1234) "Avârifü'l-Maârif" of Sühreverdî, (ö. 632/1234) together with Ibn Arabi's, (d. 638/1240) "Füsûsu'l-Hikem" and "el-Fütûhâtü'l-Mekkiyye" Mawlana's (d. 672/1273) "Mesnevi" was examined. and views related to our topic are included. In addition, Kuşeyrî's, "Letâifü'l İşârât" Kelâbâzî's, "Bahru'l-fevâid" Gazâlî's, "ElMunkızû Min ad-Dalâl" "Mişkâtü'l-envâr" and Mevlana's, "Divân-ı Kebîr" and "Fîhi Mâ-Fîh" It is deemed appropriate to mention the information about fasting.

Tez konumuz "Medâr-ı Sâlikân ve Etvâr-ı Hâcegân", 1750-1820 yılları arasında Bulgaristan'ın Köstendil şehrinde yaşamış Osmanlı mutasavvıfı Süleyman Şeyhî Efendi'ye ait eserlerdir. Süleyman Şeyhî Efendi, sûfîliğinin yanında ilmî ve edebî yönü olup, neredeyse tamamı tasavvufî olan otuzdan fazla eser kaleme almış bir müelliftir. Süleyman Şeyhî Efendi'nin ömrünün âhirinde kaleme almış olduğu Medâr-ı Sâlikân ve Etvâr-ı Hâcegân adlı eserlerini, Nakşibendî tarîkatı büyüklerinden bazılarının eserlerinden istifâdeyle tasavvufî kavramları ele alıp izah ederek tarîkat usûl ve âdâbını anlatmak sûretiyle sâlikler tarafından kolay anlaşılır hâle gelmesi gayesi ile te'lif etmiştir. Biz de Süleyman Şeyhî'nin kendi el yazması olan bu iki eseri, latinize ederek istifâdelere sunmaya gayret ettik. Müellifimizin Medâr-ı Sâlikân eseri; bir giriş, üç bölüm ve bir sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Tasavvufî konuların derli toplu ve düzenli bir şekilde anlatıldığı bir eserdir. Etvâr-ı Hâcegân'da ise tasavvufa/tarîkata yeni girecek olan sâlikin uyması gereken ön bilgiler bulunmaktadır. Bu yönüyle eser adeta tasavvuf, tarîkat ve Nakşibendîliğin âdâbını anlatan hazırlık kitabı gibidir. This thesis focuses on "Medâr-ı Sâlikân" and "Etvâr-ı Hâcegân" which are works of Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi. Ottoman Sufi Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi lived in city of Köstendil in Bulgaria between the years 1750-1820. He is an author who has written more than thirty books, almost all of which are Sufi works, and he has scientific and literary aspects besides his Sufi personality. Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi has written Medâr-ı Sâlikân and Etvâr-ı Hâcegân in succession. He wrote these works at the end of his lifetime, by benefiting from the major works of some of prominent Sufi saints in the Naqshbandi Tariqa. By handling and explaining the mystical concepts, Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi's aim, through explaining methods and morals (adab), is making the Sufi concepts easy to understand by the wayfarers (Sâlik). By transcribing into Latin alphabet and making them understandable, we present these two works which are written in Ottoman Turkish and Süleyman Şeyhî's own manuscripts. Şeyhi's work, Medâr-ı Sâlikân consists of introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. It is a work that explains Sufi/mystical issues in a well-coordinated way. The other work Etvâr-ı Hâcegân consists of the preliminary information that must be obeyed by new wayfarers of Sufism (Tasawwuf) / Tariqa. It is, so to say, a preparation book that describes the practices of Sufism, Tariqa and Naqshbandiyya. XVII. asırda Hindistan'da yaşayan Muhammed Seyfeddin Fârûkî, `İmâm-ı Rabbânî` lakabıyla tanınan Ahmed Sirhindî'nin torunu ve Nakşibendiyye tarikatının bir kolu olan Müceddidiyye ekolünün önde gelen isimlerindendir. Seyfeddîn Fârûkî tasavvufta babası Muhammed Ma'sûm Fârûkî tarafından yetiştirilmiş ve irşad makamına yükseldikten sonra devrin Bâbürlü hükümdarı Âlemgîr Şâh'a rehberlik yapması için Cihanâbâd (Delhi) şehrine gönderilmiştir. Müslüman halk burada Seyfeddin Fârûkî'ye büyük bir alâka göstermiş; Sultan Âlemgîr ile hânedan mensuplarının bir kısmı ve çeşitli kademelerden devlet adamları ona intisap ederek müridi olmuşlardır. Hayatı boyunca devam ettiği irşad faaliyetleri neticesinde Hindistan'da yaşayan Müslümanların dinî hayatına büyük tesiri olan Seyfeddin Fârûkî, uzak şehirlerdeki müridlerine gönderdiği mektuplar vasıtası ile de Müceddidiyye yolunun İslam coğrafyasında kuvvetlenmesini sağlamıştır. Mektuplarında sık sık vurguladığı hususlar; dine tam bağlılık, sünnete uyma, bid'at ve hurafelerden sakınma şeklinde sıralanabilir. Ona intisap eden hânedan mensupları ve devlet adamları da dinin emirlerinin yayılması ve Müslümanların yanlış inanışlardan sakınması hususunda ona yardımcı olmuşlardır. Dedesi İmâm-ı Rabbânî ve babası Muhammed Ma'sûm Fârûkî'nin mektupla irşad usûlünü Seyfeddin Fârûkî de devam ettirmiştir. Bu mektuplar daha sonra Mektûbât-ı Hâce Seyfeddin adıyla toplanmıştır.Biz bu çalışmamızda çeşitli kaynaklardan yararlanarak Seyfeddin Fârûkî'nin biyografisini yazdık ve Mektûbât-ı Hâce Seyfeddin'deki Farsça mektupları inceleyerek onun tasavvufî anlayışını ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Muhammed Seyfeddin Fârûkî, who lived in India in the 17th century, is the grandson of Ahmed Sirhindî, who is known as İmam-ı Rabbânî, and is one of the leading names of Mujaddidi Branch that has appeared in history as a branch of the Naqshbandiyya sufi sect. Seyfeddin Fârûkî was raised in Sufism by his father Muhammad Ma'sûm Fârûkî and after achieving authority status in sufi guidance, he was sent to Cihanâbâd (Delhi) to guide the ruler of the Mughal State, Âlemgîr Şâh. The Muslim people expressed a great interest in Seyfeddin Fârûkî there; Sultan Âlemgîr, some of the members of the dynasty and statesmen from various levels became disciples of him. Seyfeddin Fârûkî, who had a great influence on the religious life of the Muslims living in India as a result of his guidance activities throughout his life, enabled the Mujaddidi Branch to be consolidated in Islamic geography by the letters he sent to his followers in distant cities. The points frequently emphasized in his letters can be listed as absolute devotion to religion, adherence to sunnah and avoidance of superstition. The members of the dynasty and the statesmen who became his disciples also helped him to spread the commandments of religion and to prevent Muslims from non-religious beliefs. Like his grandfather İmâm-ı Rabbânî and his father Muhammed Ma'sûm Fârûkî, Seyfeddin Fârûkî also wrote letters to teach people. These letters were collected under the name Mektûbât-ı Hâce Seyfeddin. In this study, we wrote a biography of Seyfeddin Fârûkî using various sources and tried to reveal his Sufi understanding by examining the Persian letters in Mektûbât-ı Hâce Seyfeddin. 118
